Already year as we use ConvertAPI services, good support explict API documentation, they are pretty flexible

I have been using them for a while and thought it used to be a good company... however off late they made major changes to their APIs without any notification or warning.... and showed total disregard or no interest to help... What kind of company that provides APIs changes their APIs and when we asked what you have changed at least tell us so we can update our application - They gave no answer... it cost us 2 weeks of effort for 4 developers and testers due to this and delayed several other projects....

What is even more shameful is that when I said I need support they said we are fine to cancel your membership and refund you... they knew very well that we were held to ransom and couldn't behave the same with our customers (whom we actually value)... I wouldn't have written this review as I always believe in second chances... but .... Complete radio silence from their team forced me to highlight how they treat their customers... I have been a paying customer for over 2 years.

Not a great way to reward loyalty...

We had tried 3 other services for generating webpage thumbnails and PDFs before switching to ConvertAPI. None of those 3 services were able to offer the same level of reliability as these guys. This is a complicated business considering that web technology progresses rapidly and such service should be up-to-date with the latest web browser features to render pages correctly. Our business also requires that the service is available 100% of the time and is able to handle a large amount of concurrent requests while also being fast. ConvertAPI checks all those boxes for us as we've been depending on it to do all of what it's asked for anytime.

I'd especially like to point out the quality of support and documentation. The setup is easy to do with the help of documentation alone and they provide libraries for the most popular programming languages. During business hours the support chat response time is under a minute and those answering the chat have outstanding technical knowledge. They've shown great dedication to solving our issues and suggesting workarounds for complicated edge cases. Any internal bugs and inconsistencies have also been handled within a day.

I developed and currently manage cloud-based enterprise business software that requires the ability to manipulate and convert files in realtime. In order to fulfill this requirement, I had to integrate multiple API's since each API was only reliable in certain use cases - until ConvertAPI.

ConvertAPI has handled all of the use cases with ease - Pdf repair, Pdf optimization, Eml to Pdf, ocr... and many more. Now I can streamline my integration and just use one API - ConvertAPI - for this requirement.

It is easy to connect to and has the added benefit of temporary file storage, simplifying the ability to do multiple tasks efficiently.

I've had a great overall experience being able to use ConvertAPI for all of my requirements. I no longer need to call on a multitude of API's to achieve results.

I work in Midiplomado.com, in web development area. We use API to generate the diplomas of the students who conclude their online training with us in PDF format.

The API is very easy to use, we had no problems implementing it in our code and we have never had any failures in the conversion process in the almost 2 years that we have been using the API.
I highly recommend it, it is a service that is very worthwhile.

We’ve been using Convert Api for several years, always works and without downtime. We use it to convert several files from different sources and formats, especially word files that It can be tricky to develop a working solution locally.

Also, to merge pdfs is a good tool, we are using to merge various pdfs with different versions and even some signed pdfs.

About the service, we find the demo page very useful as it let us to test the api, get the necessary code to implement the integration, and also debug conflictive files or make a single conversion.

It's a wonderful service and have been a pleasure work with this site

We found the entire process of setting up to be very easy and it is very convenient to use. What is also very good is the variety of files that can be handled.

ConvertAPI is very fast, compared to CloudConvert (for example). It helps us to save time and money in our automations. It works with Integromat (Make) which we use a lot. They have very quick and kind support. I can only recommend to everybody who needs to automatically convert files – fast, reliably and with great support.

Suddenly the API stopped working ... no warning what so ever ... The resend password function does not work - tried 3 times now ... and the support is not answering.... can it be any worst!!! - really!!!

I love the tool and its easy to use but I need to use it for a lifetime unlimited but it had a seconds parameter :-)

Love ConvertAPI and the team there. It's super easy to use. The dev tools make it easy to get started and the team is super responsive. I haven't tried the other vendors out there. When I found the Convert site, saw their pricing and live demo I decided I didn't need to waste time looking at other options.

Just 60 lines of VBA code, namely setting up the JSON request, calling the API, and downloading the result, within the MyCumulus Pythagoras GIS-CAD macro was sufficient to automate the process of converting PDF to JPG files. Implementing the API was straightforward. 
The time saved for our customer is considerable. Previously, dozens of files had to be converted one by one for each project. Now the whole conversion process runs automatically. No hassle with screenshots, manual conversions, etc. We will recommend ConvertAPI to other customers facing the same issue.

Their website gives specific clear instructions on how to do conversion from different formats. It is very useful for developers.

Their website also allows you to use their API as well so we can try out the settings and see the results before we integrate it into our apps/programs.

Tried ilovepdf's API but I find ConvertAPI has a better documentation.

Definitely will recommend ConvertAPI to other people that might need this!

ConvertAPI is a very simple tool to implement and enabled our developers to focus on more core issues. the cost is reasonable and they allow you add capacity very simply. Conversions are accurate and we have not encountered major issues. We mainly use convertAPI for converting ppt and pptx files to pdf as part of an embedded application.
