I was very concerned to read your review and cannot let it pass without response. We undertake work for our clients in good faith. We charge a proportion of our fee at the point of application, to cover a lot of work we have already done up to this point, without charge, to identify a suitable product. When we discuss our service with a client, we make clear on several occasions that this part of our fee is non-refundable, for this reason.
Every client has the option to move forward or stop working with us at this juncture without paying it. We also make clear to every client that any application to a lender is subject to a valuation that we have no influence over, so where a property receives a lower valuation and the offer from that lender changes as a result, we cannot be held responsible.
We have found an alternative product for you and are ready to proceed, we would be delighted to do so for you. The booking fee would simply be transferred to the new product. I can see that the advisor has made the details of the situation clear in correspondence with you. I therefore cannot accept that we have done anything that constitutes fraud in any way.

Totally misled and harassed
Totally misled and harassed. I contacted them back in October last year but they couldn’t find me a suitable product. I contacted them again last week and they found a good offer in principle BUT BEWARE….!! I was then hounded by phone calls until I spoke to them. I specifically asked the broker what are MY total costs I would outlay and they only mentioned the lenders costs and not theirs ! Ouch ! Their fees another £2500 on top of the lenders, very misleading. PLUS the proposed lender carried out a HARD credit search on us without our authority, I questioned this and was told I agreed to this in the earlier enquiry 5 months ago !!

When attempting to contact our clients we do try at different times of the day, as we appreciate that there will be times that they are unable to answer the phone, and ultimately want to do our best to make contact with and update them.
Our process is designed to deliver information around credit searching alongside breaking down all of the costs involved to our client. In this instance it appears that the conversation between yourself and the advisor did not provide you with the clarification you required, and for this we would like to apologise.

Amazing Company
We would have given this company more than 5 stars if we had the option. After trying with a lot of Mortgage Brookers who couldn't help our situation, I found commercial trust online through Google search. Dominika Gawlik, the manager contacted me straight away and she was able to sort out a mortgage offer for us. Our account manager Cameron Collier was fantastic. He was responsive, efficient and understanding. Our first mortgage fall through because the vendor pulled out. Dominika was happy to negotiate with our lender inorder to transfer our mortgage offer onto another property. Commercial Trust was very supportive and accommodating throughout the entire process. We completed our purchase yesterday and we now have keys to our first buy-to-let property.
Happy customers, we will definitely recommend them to our friends.

Fantastic Service
Well I have been borrowing from banks and the like for 40 years yes 40 years and I have never been so impressed with the service received from Louise Wilson at Commercial trust kept me updated throughout the process it got complicated with the Lender wanting confirmation no tax outstanding in July this even though the payment was not due until end of July Hey Hoy he guided me through everything excellent service can not praise the man high enough I would recommend this company to anyone absolutely I have finished borrowing now but would certainly use them again if ever the need arises Kind Regards Brian

Awful service, not bothered in the slightest
From the very start I could tell that this wasn't a company that I wanted to work with. They first called when I was in the office and arranged a call back that evening, they didn't call and when they then called the following day there wasn't even an apology. The person that I spoke to, Ross, is the most uninspiring and disinterested I have ever had the misfortune of speaking to, he wasn't bothered from the very start. I thought I'd give him a chance to see what they can offer and when I asked him to hold as the hospital was calling me (I even left the phone on loud so he could hear that I was genuinely talking to the hospital) he hung up and didn't even bother trying to call me back. The next day he tried calling and acting like nothing had happened. I refused to deal or speak to them any further, terrible experience and I will never put any business their way.

We take any concerns shared by a client very seriously and we have investigated your comments. Our findings are as follows:
10/10 @ 18:00 – Our first call with you, with advisor 1, when you asked for a call back at 18:45 the same evening – this was missed.
11/10 @ 09:22 – Our second call with you, with advisor 2, who did apologise for the missed call the day before. At this point you ask for a call back at 4:30pm
11/10 @ 16:34 – Our third call to you, with advisor 2, you were unavailable and we were asked by a third party to call back in 10 minutes.
11/10 @ 16:46 – Our fourth call to you, with advisor 2, progresses a conversation until 5 minutes 22 seconds in, where the advisor was asked to hold, while you took another call. At 10 minutes and 3 seconds, after 5 minutes waiting for you, our advisor terminated the call. The recording of the call does not indicate any mention of it being an important call to the hospital, nor did you tell our advisor this was the case.
12/10 @ 18:08 – Our fifth call to you, with advisor 2, to ascertain a good time to speak, at which point you ask for a call on Monday 17th.
17/10 @ 18:06 – Our sixth call to you, with advisor 2, you tell us you have resolved your query.
I would like to apologise that we missed your initial request for a call back, but our findings show that we did apologise on the call for this. I would also like to apologise that the advisor did not try and interrupt you on your other call to suggest re-arranging an alternative time as you were clearly busy.

Don’t waste your time useless
Waste of time, the advisor told me they will sort a DIP within minutes of doing verification of personal circs etc. One week later still waiting not heard anything sent email and phone and the advisor always in the phone. In the meantime lost the property as the estate agent thought I was blagging them The advisors do not know what they are doing and tell you lies they cannot do anything between them useless company stay away!!!

Excellent professionals to work with.
Amy was fisrt point of contact at Commercial Trust.
Amy was so helpful & found the best buy-to-let mortgage that suited our needs.The % rate was also better than any product we could find.
We were then handed onto Jack who guided us expertly through the whole process.
Jack was very professional & constantly kept on our case file to push the deal through.
