Scam- false promises

If I could, I would rate even worse.
I placed an order that was going to be delivered much later than the promised delivery date. For this reason, I contacted customer service and asked them to cancel it. Initially, I received no response, so I filed a claim through PayPal in the hope of getting my money back. Suddenly, I received a very friendly response saying that my order would be cancelled and that I would receive my money back within three business days if I cancelled my PayPal claim. Naive as I was, I cancelled my PayPal claim, and to this day, I still have not received my money back. This is a fraudulent company, and I would never, ever, ever order from them again.

Buyer Beware: Unexpected Duties & Poor Value

The product itself is subpar. I only used it on my face and, if I’m being generous, got maybe six applications out of the tiny pod.

However, the main reason I’m writing this review is to warn other U.S. customers about an unexpected additional cost. My original purchase was $134.69, and approximately one month later I received a separate FedEx bill for $26.10 in duties.

It’s not the $26.10 that concerns me—it’s the principle and the lack of transparency. At no point during the ordering process was I clearly informed that I would receive a separate duties bill from FedEx after my purchase. I would have expected any applicable duties or import fees to be clearly disclosed upfront, or incorporated into the purchase price.

I contacted the company by email to request a resolution and received no response.

Between the disappointing amount of product provided and the undisclosed additional charge, I cannot recommend this company. U.S. customers should be aware that the price shown at checkout may not be the final amount they pay.

Buyer beware.

Thank you for sharing your feedback and we’re sorry to hear that your experience with COMIS fell short of expectations.

Just to clarify regarding the capsule usage: our True Tan capsules are formulated for the face, neck and décolleté, with each capsule providing up to 5 face applications. Each tan can last up to 7 days. Although True Tan can also be used on the body, we currently don’t have an exact recommendation for the number of capsules needed for body application.

We also completely understand your frustration regarding the additional FedEx charge. Since U.S. orders are currently shipped from Sweden, import duties and taxes may be charged separately upon delivery. This information is included in our Terms of Use, product pages, FAQ and checkout, but we appreciate your feedback that you would have preferred this to be communicated more prominently and clearly.

The good news is that we’re currently working on launching with a fulfillment partner in Ohio. This will help us provide a much smoother experience for U.S. customers and avoid these additional import-related charges on future orders.

Finally, we’re sorry that you didn’t receive a response to your email. We’d be happy to look into what happened and assist you further if you contact us directly.

Absolutely exceptional customer…

Absolutely exceptional customer service! I’m
Really happy with my device and the tan it gives my face. When there was an issue with the device the company resolved the issue incredibly quickly with amazing communication- not sure I’ve ever experienced such good customer service. Thank you comis. And thanks for the super face tanning product which makes my very pale complexion look much healthier - without having to expose ot to the sun.

Delivery

Hi originally I had a problem with delivery but the customer service was exceptional! All sorted within 24 hours and they couldn’t have been more helpful! Got the product today and can’t wait to try it now !!

Worst tanning product

This is the absolute worst tanning product I have ever tried. I used an entire capsule on my body and achieved no colour at all. So then I tried two capsules… They claim that each capsule gives you five tans. Even with two the results were horrible… Lots of streaksand an orangey color. I messaged Customer Service with no response.

WARNING DO NOT BUY. SCAM.

WARNING. Do not buy from here. The multi must itself was shocking quality, cheaply made of plastic and broken on arrival. Sent it back with their ‘money back guarantee’, with a cost to me of £15, the return address didn’t exist so the return parcel got lost in the postal system. I never received an email back regarding my concern, let alone my £70. Royal Mail confirmed that the item is also a prohibited item in the postal system return to Sweden (the return country of origin) This is clearly a scam. Avoid at all costs. Currently in a dispute with PayPal and Royal Mail in the hope to get some sort of compensation, but isn’t looking likely. Their Instagram and reviews are clearly a marketing ploy to steal your money.
