Bear, the driver was excellent, a real ambassador for you

Placed order at end of July - when order was placed it said 10 - 14 days for delivery - counting them as working days this means my goods should have been delivered by 20th August at the latest. Five weeks since ordering, and I am still waiting. I called to chase the order and was given excuses regarding building move and production delays - this isn't the customer's problem. I was then called back by ColourClad and told my items would be out of production on Friday 4th September, therefore delivery would be Monday 7th September. To ensure I was in for the delivery I've had to book a day off work. Today is Monday 7th September, just called to check on delivery and been told there were more production delays and my delivery would not be today, probably next week now, with the emphasis on probably. So wasted a days leave for nothing. Obviously they have customers by the short and curlies and they are bespoke orders so can't be cancelled without cost. When your website says 10 - 14 days delivery, you need to deliver within this window. It is an absolute nightmare trying to book a builder as I have no idea when the roof will arrive - so I can't put anything in place in advance. If I had known it was going to be this long, with no guarantee of when it would arrive, I would have shopped elsewhere. Very poor service and would not recommend

The worst company I have ever had dealings with. 2k order and paid 6 weeks ago should have arrived within 10 days! was given 3 delivery dates with no delivery carried out at all, lies after lies!
cost me a days wages for 2 roofers due to no delivery 3 weeks ago still no delivery and now having hassle getting my money back as ive had to order else where.

Avoid this company like the plague. I placed my order on 21/05/2026 & paid in full. I was told this would be delivered in 4 weeks. This came & went. I had to cancel my labour. Eventually my query as to where my order was got answered. The due date was then moved to 17/08/2026. Again, no correspondence or response. I'm now being advised this due date is "Sometime in later September". Just perfect! I can't wait to fit a new roof in the pouring rain. You can't reach anyone, you get promised the earth & nothing arrives. Emails never get returned & calls don't get a response. A complete shambles. I just wish I had read these other reviews before I placed the order. If I had, I would have taken my business elsewhere. The delivery date is now October!!!!!!

After 6 weeks with no delivery of an item on 1 week Leadtime we have had to take legal action for a refund - terrible communication and service

Don’t use, constantly lied about delivery. Gave every excuse in the book, lorry broke down, driver problems and had to sack him. Then refund has not been done having been told it would be in my bank 3-5 days. I have now taken out a County court judgement against them to get my money back.

Dont order from them if you dont want to waste time and money.They are full of lies,changed delivery date 2 times for booking wrong days,ignored my calls,emails,texts,everything.I lost my work and client because of their lies.They even try to push forced delivery ignoring my request of cancellation and all my requests.I lost 1 month time and one job because of them.

A very poor experience overall,

After paying a premium for delivery on my garden room trims I checked in day before delivery to only then he told it was delayed due to a building move.

I had to chase up again a few days later and was given a second delivery date, this came and went - no trims arrived, called again and received another excuse and a third delivery date.

The trims were then delivered outside the given time window so I wasn’t home, when I returned I found them on my driveway but 2 pieces with scratches down to the bare metal through the anthractie coating.

I’ve contacted the company twice since with pictures and have been completely ignored so will be now looking at my next steps to make a claim on the delivery.

Again as others have said when I’ve finally reached the company the individuals have been pleasant enough but the communication and organisation is non existent and leaves you completely in the dark, meanwhile my garden room has now been sitting for over a month finished except for no roofing trims and edges to keep the rain out, so disappointed.

Very poor service, waiting 3 months for deliver,having to get my money back from my bank now!avoid! Very disappointed with Colorclad. I paid for my goods and never received them. After getting nowhere trying to resolve it, I’ve had to go to my bank to recover my money.

The owner publicly apologised on a previous review, but instead of contacting me personally to sort it out, he told me to speak to another member of staff. I did exactly that, and they never got back to me or passed me on to anyone who could help. It’s just been one excuse after another and I’ve been sent around in circles.

Good customer service starts with taking responsibility. The owner should deal with the problem directly and put things right instead of passing customers from one person to another.

DONT work for these they don’t treat staff well and break promises for orders

Extremely bad service, no communication about repeated delays of delivery and now no response at all. Now past the delivery date again and now with no response I will have no choice but to take a legal path.
Very very very disappointing. Do not use!

AVOID!!! My products were ordered end of June 2026 for 2-3 weeks delivery as promised by Josh and I was chased multiple times the week prior to finalise it all and make the payment. Josh was rather helpful I have to say and I trusted his judgment that all will be with us as promised.

As soon as I made the payment, most of the communication stopped and here we are around 7-8 weeks later with my money gone and no goods(apart of the brackets) delivered… I have been promised multiple delivery dates, but nothing was delivered. And no updates are being communicated to me either… no updates from anyone and currently being officially avoided by the whole team.

This is not acceptable and is delaying our 69 flats project massively as we can’t start work on the balconies.

Did not expect this from a "family run" company...

Extremely disappointing – order still not delivered after almost 8 weeks

I would strongly advise anyone considering ordering from Colour Clad Profiles to think carefully about the delivery and customer service they may receive.

I placed my order on 5 June 2026, with an original estimated delivery date of 24 June. The order was not delivered.

After repeatedly chasing the company, I was eventually given a confirmed delivery date of 22 July, which was then cancelled. I was subsequently told it would be delivered on 23 July. On that date, I was informed that the cladding had actually been manufactured in the wrong colour and therefore could not be delivered.

Since then, I have had to repeatedly chase for updates. On 13 August I was told that the replacement had been completed and was available for dispatch, with delivery being targeted for the week commencing 17 August.

It is now 19 August and the goods still have not been delivered.

I have been contacting the company virtually every day since 14 August by telephone and email simply trying to get a firm delivery date. Even getting a straightforward answer about when the goods will actually arrive has proved extremely difficult.

The most frustrating part is the repeated promises and lack of follow-through. Dates have been given, then missed, followed by further assurances and more waiting.

The materials are required for building works, and the ongoing delay has caused significant disruption to the project. The building has remained exposed to the recent wet weather considerably longer than it should have.

I have now formally requested cancellation and a full refund, but the company has indicated that because the goods are bespoke they do not consider cancellation/refund straightforward. This is despite the substantial delay, the original goods being manufactured in the wrong colour, multiple failed delivery commitments and the replacement order still not being delivered.

I was also offered £45 + VAT as a goodwill gesture towards delivery costs, which I do not consider an adequate resolution given the circumstances.

At this point, my experience has been extremely disappointing. The issue isn't simply that the order is late, it is the combination of the length of the delay, incorrect manufacture, missed delivery commitments and the amount of chasing required just to obtain basic information.

Nearly eight weeks after the original delivery date, I still don't have the goods.

I sincerely hope Colour Clad Profiles resolves this, but based on my experience so far, I would not currently recommend them if reliable delivery and communication are important to you.

Order made on the 9/7/26 after been told upto 10 days for delivery, after lots of emails and phone calls made (all documented) we were repeatedly lied to regarding the delivery, eventually a date was given for delivery 14/8/26 some 36 days after the order, on this date we were called at 11-30 in the morning to be told the delivery driver had handed in his notice half way into the journey, turned around and heading back to the yard ? Unfortunately my project manager had made arrangements to complete the work and help unload the lorry , at this point and being the client I immediately cancelled the order , the job hasn’t been completed yet and the cost have increased regarding the wasted time , not sure how a business is allowed to operate like this , I have given one star and that for the FABRICATED lies we were told , at first very convincing ,

Not Good with customer communication

The delivery date was messed around with.. they took our £1,700+ payment then I had to harass them for a delivery date!
The excuse was they changed address/building - not the customers issue!
They didn't advise of delays that were possible!
They only sent one delivery person when they had been advised in writing on their own form AND when they called to check we were expecting the delivery that we couldn't help unload!

The only good thing about the delivery was the polite and courteous driver/delivery man KEVIN

My builder now has to come on his weekend to do my roof replacement, instead of doing in the decent dry weather there is now a possibility of rain!

Kept me in the loop with the delivery, checking if I was free. Thanks Bear
