a pair of look pedals they said shipped but never did
I ordered a pair of look pedals, which at the time of ordering, were supposedly in stock, would ship out the next business day and I would have them 1 to 3 days after that. When the package failed to show up I sent messages inquiring about order status they went unanswered. When someone finally replied to my inquiry I was told the package had shipped out when ordered. But when I checked the tracking number they finally provided it only showed that a shipping label had been created but nothing had actually been shipped. I was just being scammed. I sent another message canceling the order and asking for a refund. They responded that since they shipped it out already they can’t cancel. But that when I receive the package I can return the pedals for a refund. It’s been a couple weeks and delivery company (GLS) still shows they never received a package to ship. My further inquiries have gone unanswered. Also this is a new owner of the website not a physical business. The Colorado Cyclist that was well respected went out of business years ago. This is just someone running a scam using a website name they bought. Has nothing to do with Colorado. Next time I will use a reputable bike supplier. Thankfully I contacted my bank and they reversed the charges. But I’ll never have anything to do with Colorado Cyclist or “Derek” again.

Buying from a reputable established company is better than saving a few bucks on expensive boutique items!
My first purchase with Colorado Cyclist was more than 20yrs ago. I received their flyer in the mail, saw a set of Mavic MTB wheels with Chris King Hubs and the price was unbelievable so I placed the order. Service was great then and it’s why I placed my recent order. Once again, I was looking for something on Google, a ton of random vendors appeared on my search, Colorado Cyclist was one of them. They didn’t have the best price but the service and reliability was so good the first time around that I chose them to do business with, No questions asked. Thanks again for providing a great service with a fair deal.

Avoid this dropshipper or don't order if you need quickly
I ordered a product from this website because it said they had it "in stock." To most consumers that would mean that it was in stock in their warehouse. Unfortunately I discovered that Colorado Cyclist is just a dropshipper, meaning they don't control their inventory or shipping. They just turn around and order it from a different company. In this case, a product their website (and order confirmation email) said would arrive in a few days took almost two weeks

Great price. Fast shipping - in theory. Would have been 5 stars but they used UPS to ship to my PO Box, which delayed the order by a few days and required me to contact UPS to sort it out. UPS doesn't deliver to PO Boxes, anyone who works in a shipping department should know that in the first hour of their first day of work in said department.
That said, I'm content and will be back, only using my physical address.
