Refund overdue. Return received. Process today
Edit: They did not issue a full refund. They kept the postage fee, which is unprofessional. Be careful if you use this company — they will delay your refund and overcharge for shipping (£9, when it should normally be £3–5).
Hello Cole Haan UK Team,
I ordered a pair of shoes from your UK site in size 8.5, which is my usual size. When they arrived, they were far too large. I tried them on once, then repacked them and returned them the same day in the original packaging. The item was never used.
I did not receive any confirmation that my return was delivered. Only after I emailed did I learn it was in quality control. Today is day 5 and I have been told it is still in quality control. I have not received my refund.
This process is unacceptable. I have sent clear emails and received a generic reply stating refunds may take up to 14 working days, then no response to follow ups. My return is straightforward and in perfect condition. There is no reason to hold the refund.
Please process my refund immediately and send written confirmation today.
Order number: UK42136
Return ID or tracking: 1000114489559
Date returned: 18/09/2025
If this is not resolved promptly, I will escalate through my payment provider and the relevant consumer channels.
Regards,

Hello,
Thank you for sharing your feedback. We are truly sorry to hear that you have been left unhappy with your recent experience with us. That is not what we want for any of our customers - we would like to address your concerns below:
We understand you returned the shoes in the original condition and we appreciate the care you took in doing so. Once items arrive back to us, they still need to be formally inspected and logged by our returns team before a refund can be released. Receiving a return and processing a refund are not the same step - our returns team works carefully to ensure every return is recorded accurately and without error, which is why this process takes time.
Our policy states that refunds may take up to 14 working days from sending to be completed, as this includes both the inspection and processing period. I am glad to confirm your return has now passed these checks and your refund is being issued today, with confirmation sent by email.
Thank you for your patience, and please accept our apologies that this process did not feel straightforward and that you were left disappointed with your experience. We hope to welcome you back again in the future.
Warm Regards,
The Cole Haan UK Team
Cole Haan UK – Disappointing Experience
I saw Cole Haan UK on Google and wanted to buy a pair of shoes. The website said I’d get 15% off if I registered with my phone number and email, so I signed up and gave them both.
When I went to buy the shoes, the discount didn’t apply because they said the item was already discounted. This was never mentioned anywhere. The message I received just said “you will get 15% off” – no exceptions.
This isn’t about the money, it’s about the principle. I felt really misled and honestly a bit stupid. Of course, I didn’t buy the shoes, and I wanted to share my experience. Don’t give them your phone number or email.

Hello Fatih,
Thank you for taking the time to share your experience with us. We are sorry to hear that the sign-up offer left you feeling disappointed. We always want our promotions to feel clear and fair, though we completely understand how this situation could have been frustrating.
The sign-up discount is intended for full-price purchases, with our messaging noting that terms and conditions apply. Those terms specify that codes cannot be used on items already discounted. I appreciate this may not have been the detail you expected to find once you reached checkout and it’s helpful to know how that came across from your side.
Your comments are important to us, your feedback will be shared with the team. We are always working to make the shopping experience as straightforward as possible and feedback like yours helps us see where we can do better.
We truly appreciate you considering Cole Haan and hope that despite this experience we may have the chance to welcome you back in the future.
Warm regards,
The Cole Haan UK Team

Code Not Working and Customer Service Not great
UPDATE ON REVIEW BELOW
I am pleased to write that Bobby from the Customer Service helped me and really went out of the way to resolve the issue with this and a later transaction.
ORIGINAL REVIEW
I recently got an email with a 20% Off code. I went to website it did not work. Emailed their customer service , their first reply was quick and asked me to try again. I tried again and it still did not work. Both times I sent them screen shots. However they have not replied me yet since then !
I love ColeHaan brand and already have got 4 pairs of them. I want to continue with them but it will be a shame if they lost a regular customer due to such silly reasons.

The First Shoes That Beat My Plantar Fasciitis
Cole Haan has quickly become my go-to brand for both casual and smart occasions. After years of struggling with Plantar Fasciitis and trying countless other brands, I finally found the perfect fit.
I recently purchased the Men’s ØriginalGrand Cityspectre Cap Toe Oxfords, and for the first time in years I was able to attend an event without feeling pain or counting down the minutes until I could take my shoes off.
Thank you, Cole Haan, for making shoes that are not only stylish but genuinely comfortable.

Poor service all round
Ordered goods, they sent the wrong colour and then told me they are out of stock and will not be getting any more stock in.
I have to send back the goods & have just offered a standard -10% discount off another order which everyone gets, customer service so uninterested and leaves a very sour taste with what I thought was a “higher end” company!
I have 5 pairs of Cole Haan shoes and will be moving brand based on this experience.
