If you have doubts about taking this course because you think SQL could be boring, Max and Ties prove you otherwise! We had such fun every single session, both Max and Ties are very patient, using real examples, answering all (my) silly questions whilst making sure everyone is on track. I can highly recommend this course and I can't wait to pivot my career towards SQL.

I've initially had doubts about whether SQL could be "my thing" (I had tried to learn it 3 times prior to taking this course...with underwhelming results). However, this course is probably the most effective way to learn SQL - especially if you tend to ask lots of questions. It's adimittedly quite pricey but you do get a live instructor in a small class.

SQL from the ground up!
I followed the course in Q1 2023 and I really enjoyed the experience and care the instructors take to build your knowledge at a proper pace focusing on the basics, so that you can feel confident as the level progresses. Communication and tooling was also great. Thanks Cognitas!

Ties and Max are excellent facilitators and I loved the way they structured their course. It's easy to follow and even though some of the concepts are inherently difficult to understand for someone totally new to SQL, they really take their time to explain them and make sure to answer all questions before moving on. Highly highly recommend this to anyone who is serious about learning and getting proficient in SQL!

The facilitation of the course by the instructors, Max and Ties, is excellent. The content is divided into easy-to-follow, digestible sections that build on each other each week, and are supported by relevant real-life case studies.
Their competency as well as their open and supportive approach makes this an all-around perfect SQL training for anyone who wants to build a solid foundation of SQL skills. Great Teacher. Good Pace. Challenging Exercises.

I enjoyed having Max as a teacher. He always took the time to properly explain any upcoming questions. I also had the feeling that he is excellent in the field that he is training, which makes the course more credible.

Great interactive sessions with Max, who was very flexible in adapting to the learning speed of the group, and taking the time to answer questions along the way.

Can only recommend taking a course with Max & Ties! It was a great course to refresh my SQL skills. The group size is small and very hands-on. There's always time for individual questions.

Max and Ties do stellar jobs at explaining SQL to persons, like myself, with little SQL or coding experience. The course itself is nicely built up, starting with basic commands and working towards more advanced queries. Throughout the lessons, personal attention is guaranteed by working in small groups. Lastly, the take-home cases and exercises allow you to apply the explained concepts and put them into practice!

Summarising, it's been a great experience getting to know a lot more about SQL. Would definitely recommend the course to anyone interested in SQL!

Ties was great, and made the content really relatable. I did only courses like Datacamp and Udemy before, but they were dry and I got frustrated. A year later I finally invest in this live course, and actually learn SQL.

With a little or no coding experience this course is highly recommended! Every week you can easily questions thanks to the great and involved instructors!
