Cloud 9 Vets provide gentle at-home euthanasia for your elderly or terminally ill pet. We are a family owned and managed organisation. Every member of our close-knit team works with dedication and commitment and we treat every call and every visit with respect and compassion. We are faithful to our objective of making home visits personal, un-rushed, peaceful and dignified . We always have the time to talk to you and will always do everything we can to support you and your pet at a time when you need us most. We work to support and help you when you need us, but we are not an emergency vet and we do not have limitless appointment times. But even in an emergency we will do all we can to help you. An emergency tends to be a crisis and our ethos is to plan a calm and respectful goodbye. Our caring team works passionately to help pet families that are facing "end of life situations" for their beloved pet companions. We provide unhurried pet euthanasia services in the secure and loving environment of your own home. We really do understand that it may be difficult to make that first call, so, our Care Coordinators are available for you to speak to, 7 days a week, from 7am to 8pm Monday to Friday and between 8am to 5pm at weekends and when you pick up the phone, we will treat your call with kindness and understanding. All Cloud 9 Vets fees are always explained and agreed in advance of booking an appointment. The Cloud 9 Way, we do our utmost to provide empathy, compassion and respect in everything we do.

Goodbye to Janie
It was a very sad having to say goodbye to our beloved Janie. Sally from Cloud 9 helped make the experience peaceful and stressfree. Janie being in her own home made a huge difference. Cloud 9 were also extremely helpful at an emotional time. Phoenix Pet Cremation were very respectful and provided a very professional service.

in-house gentle euthanasia for Ash
We used their service when we had to put our beloved cat to sleep due to advanced stage of cancer. The vet who performed euthanasia perfectly understood our situation and let us have a moment of peace with our cat before saying good bye. The vet explained what would happen during the procedure so that we wouldn't get too stressed out with the outcome of it. We still miss our cat terribly, but we know she is in peace now. Equally it must be hard for the vet to witness dying of animals while they have to perform euthanasia. Thank you so much for letting our cat go in peace.

Cloud 9 offered outstanding service on…
Cloud 9 offered outstanding service on what was a difficult day for our family. From the initial telephone call with Emma, the communication and organisation we received was excellent. Emma arranged for a vet to visit the same day. Victoria was very compassionate and caring to our dog Bob, as well as our family. His passing was respectful and dignified and we will be forever grateful. Francis from Phoenix Pet Cremations arrived shortly after Victoria left and he was very happy for us place Bob's favourite cushion, blanket and toy with Bob. This gave our family a lot of comfort and Bob looked so peaceful in his final sleep. His ashes were returned home within 3 days. Communication was first class. Thank you all so much.

Sadly we had to bring forward the date…
Sadly we had to bring forward the date for our red English Bully's euthanasia to yesterday. Susan came to us and truly could not have been kinder. She whispered to Frank throughout, while explaining every step to us and at the very graceful end, she sweetly kissed him goodbye while we sobbed. Then she hugged us too! Later a very kind gentleman came to collect him - I wish I could give you one hundred grateful stars for the professionalism and care we received. Thank you.

WHAT A BELOVED COMPANION DESERVES
It’s always going to be a very upsetting time but Cloud9Vets and especially, Zoi, were so very kind and understanding, when the time to euthanise my beloved beagle/basset, Rio (12). I didn’t want him to go through the stress of being at the vet surgery, so having Zoi come to my home was perfect. From the very first phone call, everyone was so professional but empathetic and at no time did we feel rushed or pushed into anything. They also organized the crematorium to pick up Rio and deliver his ashes. I would recommend this to everyone who has 4 legged companions as Rio just slipped away in his home surrounded by his loved ones and it’s what he deserved after being by my side through thick and thin, giving me nothing but joy.

Farewall to our beloved Zekey boy ❤️
We sadly had to say goodbye to our 13 year old German Shepard called Zeke on the 24th August and Cloud9vets were nothing short of amazing from Start to Finish, so understanding and attentive to our feelings and arranged everything from the vet coming round to the cremation company coming to pick our beloved boy up! Our Vet Susie was amazing when she came to our home, she was so gentle and caring towards Zeke & her overall compassion and kindness shined through on one of our worst days as a family and for that we are very grateful to her!

Our wonderful 19.5 year old cat was…
Our wonderful 19.5 year old cat was past his sell by date and we knew it had to be done before even more health problems came his way… a very hard decision but once we made it, Cloud9Vets were amazing!! From our initial call and appointment, it all was handled in the most sincere way. The vet Josie who came to see us was sensitive to our family sadness and so kind and helpful talking us through the process. We now have our Shadow back with us thanks to Chestnut Lodge Crematorium. Exceptional service
From the initial call to Cloud 9 right through the whole process the staff were caring, compassionate and never rushed.
The whole process was explained at every stage by the call handler (Ellie), the Vet, and the pick up by the cremation team.
Ellie was exceptional in arranging/coordinating of everything for us, and I would like to say a big thank you to her.
The vet took great care to ensure that Olive was calm and relaxed before starting the whole process, and was stroking as he administered the medication.
It was also a nice touch that a soft bed was arranged by the cremation company for Olive and she looked so peaceful as we carried her out to van for her journey to the crematorium.
Overall Olive didn't have the stress of visiting the vet surgery (which she hated), and was given a respectable and peaceful departure.
A great big thank you to you all, and a great service.

Compassionate & Peaceful
We knew that, at 14½ years old, we didn't have a lot of time left with Renko, our beautiful rescue dog but waking up at 6am on a Sunday to find him very poorly and distressed was heartbreaking. We just knew the time had come for him to cross the Rainbow Bridge.I called Cloud 9 around 8am when they opened and spoke to Darlene. She was so kind, compassionate and professional from start to finish. The first vet wasn't able to get to us until 4pm but Darlene understood we didn't want Renko to suffer any longer than necessary and kindly arranged another vet, Richard to visit at 9.30.
Richard was kind and professional, fully explaining the process to me and my daughter. The sedative took effect fairly quickly and we were both relieved to see Renko settle into a deep sleep. After his passing, Richard gave us some time alone to say our goodbyes and the whole process was calm and peaceful.
I must also mention the service provided by Cremate a Pet, specifically Amy, who contacted me when Renko was ready to come home. Her email was beautifully written and her warmth and compassion were very much appreciated.
Thank you to everyone for making a heartbreaking situation that little bit easier.

Incredible service
I couldn’t recommend Cloud 9 vets more. From the moment I contacted them, the service was excellent and I was treated with compassion from the start of a really difficult process.
The lady I spoke to on the phone was extremely helpful and made the arrangements promptly.
The vet, David (I believe from Southampton area) was absolutely incredible. Having had a previous bad experience with another of my dogs, this could not have been more opposite. David was incredibly kind and explained the process as it happened. He made some small comments that were just really beautiful and he provided our boy with the most peaceful send off. I didn’t think this process could be done in such a wonderful way but we felt at peace knowing that it couldn’t have been a nicer end for him.

The kindest goodbye
There are no words that could truly express how grateful we are to Cloud 9, and especially to Sonia, for helping us say goodbye to our beloved cat, DJ.
Having to make the decision to let him go after almost 18 years was the most heartbreaking experience of our lives. From my very first phone call to Cloud 9 through to the care we received afterwards, every single person treated us with genuine compassion, kindness and understanding.
Sonia was exceptional. She was calm, empathetic, knowledgeable and incredibly respectful throughout. She explained every step with such care, allowing us to make informed decisions without ever feeling rushed. Most importantly, she put not only my husband and me at ease, but DJ as well.
DJ hated visiting the vet, and knowing that his final moments were spent peacefully at home, wrapped in our love rather than in the stress and fear of a veterinary clinic, is a gift that we will carry with us forever. Sonia gave him the most gentle, dignified and peaceful passing we could ever have hoped for.
Although saying goodbye was unimaginably painful, Sonia made an unbearable day feel gentle, calm and full of love. We will never forget her kindness.

At a very difficult and emotional time…
At a very difficult and emotional time staff from Cloud 9 were exceptionally kind, supportive and very caring. Debbie helped me by explaining the arrangements and organised the procedure fully. Sally the vet visited and explained what would happen and supported me throughout. Holywell pet cemetery collected my 15 year old beautiful lab named Zac and l collected Zac’s ashes the following day.
I would 100% recommend this service for their care and understanding during this traumatic time.

A truly exceptional service
I cannot recommend Cloud 9 Vets highly enough.
When the time came to say goodbye to our beautiful Bracken, having the option for him to be at home, surrounded by the people who loved him, meant everything to us.
From my very first contact with Lara, Cloud 9 Vets were kind, understanding and incredibly compassionate. That care continued when Zoi came to our home and guided us through one of the hardest moments we have ever had to face.
Zoi was everything we could have hoped for — reassuring, professional, gentle and caring. She took the time to explain everything clearly, never rushed us, and treated Bracken with such kindness and dignity. Most importantly, she gave us the space and time we needed to say our goodbye. We can't thank her enough.
I would also like to thank Stephen from iCare Pet Crem for his care and compassion on the day, and for the wonderful job he did preparing our boy for his return home. Knowing that Bracken was treated with such care throughout the whole process meant so much to us.
