From the first to the last, Mark came to check what I wanted I and provided me with all the information I needed to make my decision.
Harry, Gareth and Jarrad have just fitted double gates to the side of my house and I am very pleased with the result. They were a very efficient team, very pleasant and polite and finished the job in record time, after sorting out a problem with the colour!
This is the second time I’ve had ColourFence Garden Fencing; I had a fence fitted at the bottom of my garden three years ago and it has been such a relief not to have to paint a wooden fence every year.

Been trying to get a quote since the 27/11/23 didn’t get any response so I rang on the 30/11/23 spoke to a nice lady who said she would get someone to call me, which he did just as I had someone coming so asked if he call me back in about an hour. It’s now the 1/12/23 still not heard from anyone, very sad and bad service as I was very interested in the fence but given up know.

Elvis and John turned up time. As mine was not an easy job to do, they were very professional and did a brilliant job. Nothing was too much trouble. Fantastic product.

Needed some additional work on an existing Colourfence installation. Patrick from Colourfence Bedfordshire was very helpful. He was polite and professional and completed the work to a high standard.

I rang Olly after a recommendation from a friend and he came to my home measured the area for fencing plus a gate. I accepted the quotation and a date for installation was booked. (20th & 21st July 2023). The team who came to install the fencing were polite, efficient and the site was left clean and tidy. Very happy with the service provided by Olly and the Cornish team. First and foremost almost all ColourFence is installed by independent contractors i.e. ColourFence refers all installation issues back to the franchisee so you're on a sticky-wicket when you have issues such as not following the boundary line, neighbours having problem with intrusion on their property, etc
Also note that most 1-Stars for ColourFence here on Trustpilot relate to the Bristol Franchise independent contractor Bo Stewart-Woods of Bowen James Ltd - my review relates to them as well, hence the 3-stars.
The original installation was 28 Apr 2022 but issues were not rectified until 9 Nov 2022 and I'm still in-dispute regarding them not adhering to the original boundary line encroaching into my property.
If you are in the position that Bowen James Ltd are your independent contractor responsible for your ColourFence installation then my advice to you is 'watch them like a hawk', oversee their work from start to finish, walk along and agree the new fence line AFTER removal of the old fence and old fence spikes / post ends, don't take their 'we leave those in the ground, we can level them if you want' nonsense. Only then sign Part 1 of the Satisfaction Form 'Start of Installation' where they have walked you the customer over the boundary line to 1 agree line and position of the fence, and 2 confirm finish of each end position. Do this BEFORE they start any work on any of the installation itself including the digging of post holes.
Be prepared to say 'stop work' 'leave' if you are not happy with the way things are going; yes, you have to be that diligent with this particular team as there's every chance you might hit that 'ColourFence Brickwall' where you must be prepared to push on for months to get things rectified later.
You might end up having to kick up a storm on Twitter and Instagram to get their attention - do so.
Perseverance is 'key': keep badgering ColourFence Head Office until someone there works out you're not going away until things are sorted.
Reputation is 'key': when ColourFence Head Office, other ColourFence Independent Contractors, and Climar Industries realise you're not going away until this particular situation is rectified with this particular Independent Contractor, that the noise you're making might well reflect on their reputation and business too, then you'll have their attention.
1) Original boundary line ignored: new boundary set too far into my property away from the original fence line.
2) New boundary line not agreed with customer before post holes dug and fence posts set in the holes.
3) New post holes: loose bricks used for gap under original fence taken without permission to infill new post holes to 'save' on Postcrete.
4) Unsafe sharp edged metal fence spikes and shattered wooden post ends left 'in the ground' for the unwary to be caught out when weeding and planting boarders along the fence line and when plants and borders are full grown. There is no doubt that this was the reasoning of Bowen James for not closely following the original border line as to do so would have necessitated them removing these unsafe sharp edged metal fence spikes and shattered wooden post ends.
5) Sharp jagged screw-tips protruding 1/2" in from the fence post easily snagging hands and clothing when pruning along the fence line should have been fitted the other way round.
6) Not all fence panels fitted correctly to minimise the gap with the fence post. Within two-months growth from neighbour’s border protruding through the gaps between panels and fence posts. Panels are meant to be set flush to the fence posts to be flat-edged against the U-edge of the fence post.
7) Fence post caps missing and others not fitted correctly top of the fence posts.
8) 'Satisfaction Form' Part 1 Start of Installation and Part 2 Completion. At no time did Bo Stewart-Woods Bowen James Ltd's team make any attempt to walk the boundary line and show the fence, they simply requested signature that the work was completed. I signed the form on the basis that I would check the work and get back to Bo Stewart-Woods Bowen James Ltd if I had any issues.
9) Old fencing was left in driveway for 10-days despite the promise to collect it the next day.
10) Many follow-up emails were not answered, calls made and messages left.
11) Bo Stewart-Woods refused to take responsibility to resolve issues raised even going so far as to insist he was a Regional Manager and it was not his responsibility to oversee the work nor supervise the installation. He ignored contractual obligations to utilise the services of an independent arbitration body as per his written quote, went to great lengths to voice his opinion that it would be a waste of my time taking this up with ColourFence Head Office as they'd only refer the matter back to him.
Well, he was wrong!

I cannot recommend Patrick highly enough.
Excellent timekeeping. Very polite and accommodating. Nothing was too much trouble. The price quoted was the price I paid.
We are very happy with our new fence. It has made a great difference to how our garden looks.

Working with Colourfence Bedfordshire has been fantastic. We used their stylish steel fencing for a driveway border. Although we were initially sceptical about using so modern contemporary design, the final result has been great.
All steps of the process were incredibly efficient and smooth under the care of Patrick. He was also polite, punctual and professional. Nothing was a problem for him. He was very flexible with our requirements and respectful of our requirements. Now we have a stylish, solid protection with no maintenance. Would definitely recommend Patrick from Colourfence.

My fences was installed almost two years ago. In that time it has withstood both heavy wind and rain. It has never caused a moment of concern.

Recently had a perimeter fence and 2 gates built around our property. We were so impressed with the service we received. The team were efficient, polite and very professional. Wow! The Team from Nottingham did a fantastic job in removing the hedge and installing my new fence. Hedge out one day, fence in the next! There were a couple of complications but they sorted them quickly and efficiently. Very polite and professional. Absolutely delighted with the finished product that will last for may years - and I can sell my hedge trimmer!! Thanks everyone!

I had my Fence installed yesterday. I am so pleased it looks fantastic. The team from Salisbury fencing did the job.They we’re very polite and friendly, nothing was too much trouble. First class job. 😊

The Bristol team left a 4 inch gap under my structure and refused to come out and even look at the issue until I involved the Head Office. HQ directed that the remedial work should be done at no cost to myself but im still waiting for the Bristol team to put it right. Within 10 days of HQ being involved I received visits from Building Control and Planning Enforcement for malicious complaints, with no substance. Coincidence, I think not????
They also forgot to book the rubbish clearance despite demanding payment in full before all of the work had been done.
