Clements Agency helped my business reduce our business rates to zero and also allowed us to claim back several years of over payment. We are very grateful!

Standard practice to scam - First charge 5.99 to get access to card details and then take out £1000 without your permission using the card details.

Avoid them at any cost if you do not want to loose £1000.

So as promised I’m keeping you all up-to-date surprise surprise they didn’t show up to the mediation they claimed they didn’t have any paperwork but they’re going to turn up on the 15th of May and see me at court. I’m so looking forward to actually facing these people in court and after this gets thrown out, I’m gonna take these people to court and exploit them for the absolute scammers that they are, I can’t believe that this company is still allowed to run and it hasn’t been investigated by the police and they haven’t been thrown in jail. Please please please keep away from this company. It’s a scam company 100%.

THIS IS A SCAM COMPANY BEWARE. THEY WILL OFFER YOU TO REDUCE YOUR BUSINESS RATES WITH A SURVEY BUT THEN WILL MISLEAD YOU INTO PAYING THOUSANDS AND IF YOU DON'T THEY PUSH FOR LEGAL ACTION AND INTIMIDATE YOU. SCUM OF THE EARTH.

BEWARE OF SCAM
This is the third time, I have written this review which mysteriously keeps getting taken down. Surprise, surprise.
My takeaway was targeted by these crooks and reading all of the reviews reflects my own experiences. I am flabbergasted that such a 'company' is allowed to even operate and hard working small business owners are left to the wolves. It is an utter scam. They employ a bait and switch strategy with a small fee followed by an extortionate fee without informed consent. Such parasites are leeching off hard working people who are actually productive and contribute to society. To anyone targeted by these crooks don't allow them to pressure you and don't be intimidated by the court letters. Stay calm and go to court. You will win. The law is very much against these crooks.

Thank you clements agency for your assistance in my business rates. When I relocated my shop earlier this year i contacted Clements agency again to deal with my new premises. Although it has taken a few months to see any results they have now sucessfully reduced my business rates and i am now completely rates free. Thanks again for all your help.

I became a client of Clements agency around a year ago and I can not explain how glad I am I did.
I received my new bill last week and thanks to them I will be able to keep my business going!
It might take time from the day you sign on to the day you see the results but, with a bit of patience and maybe a few calls a month this process will actually take some pressure off your shoulders!!

As a small business owner I have struggled over the past few years with covid and lock downs and was close to closing my shop as I could go on under the circumstances but Clements got me breathing space and money back from past rates pluse wiped my current debt with the. Council.

Attempted to take us to court for £1000 having done no work, no contracts sent and no agreement entered into. They falsely believed they had a legal case as we did not set up a gov gateway account (none of this was mentioned in the initial pitch). Avoid at all costs, the positive reviews here are likely in breach of business rates contracts now but Clements won't care.

PS. To anyone struggling, send back the court docs asking for a hearing and mediation, they will back down. Clements staff are cowards, their parents have a lot to answer for...

I can’t believe it.

My barber shop is tiny but the council were charging me a huge amount in business rates 680 a month since April last year and did not apply the reliefs I was entitled to over the past few years. I called the council but they said they were not willing to back date the reliefs as I was out of time which is ridiculous! Clements agency contacted me and said they would take on my case and try to get the reliefs back dated so I paid them their fee and hoped for the best. I did not hear anything for a while and thought well that was a waste of time and money but today I received an updated bill from the council and bloody hell they back dated all my over payments and have arranged a refund for me to collect. Would recommend Clements highly after this experience.

What a result , I have three premises in north London and have always struggled paying my business rates throughout the years.

I have used many company’s in the past and never got anywhere , with promises of thousands , no win no fee garbage , and generally being messed around , so when Clemente agency got in touch I thought here we go again.

But………within a couple of months the gov emailed me showing two reductions in my rates and that Clemente had done it.

I was flawed , I was so certain it was not going to work and I had wasted my time , but on this occasion it worked. I noticed a lot of bad reviews on trust pilot and I am not sure why as they certainly were worth the money.

Nice company , got a good reduction for my laundromat. The registration with the gov to get the reduction was harder than it needed to be but I suppose they do that to slow down refunds.

Pure Crooks, I thought I was smart, these guys scammed me, they are evil.

First class crooks, we are in the process of dealing with them in court. They promise you to reduce your rates, then immediately after submitting your form they will request £1000 from you without even seeing the results. YOU BETTER AVOID THESE PEOPLE AT ALL COSTS.

I went to court yesterday and of course they didn't show up, just like all the other reviews. Please don't be scared about their court letters. They are scammers and won't turn up. How they sleep at night is beyond me. Stay away

Absolutely Scam Scam
They demand money but they don’t do no work at all!
I hope action against them will be taken soon!

I initially paid 5.99 to Clements with the understanding that they would only charge £995.00 after getting back the money paid to the Council for previous business rates. After a few weeks, they tried taking the payment from my account without my knowledge/permission. Luckily, there was no money in the account. They took me to Court and demanded the Court fee plus £995.00 and promised they would still apply to get the money back from the Council or refund the money paid. To date, I have not heard back from them I emailed and called several times. They don't respond to my emails and promised to call back each time but never did. Stay far away from this company, they are SCAMMERS.

This is business is scam! Lured in by £5.99 just to make you pay the £1K fee. Nothing had been achieved with the council after months and months of waiting. They need to be shut down as business.
