I haven't had any chargebacks since I started using ClearSale. If they don't approve the sale, neither do I.

Good system but needs some work

Overall I find Clearsale a good investment for my business.

However, the user interface needs improving. In particular the process for uploading a chargeback. Once you do this, the system does not then allow you to see the uploaded chargeback, and I find I have to send it by email as well to ensure that Clearsale have received it. Unneccessary double handling, and inconvenient.

Other than that, I believe it is worth the money we spend each month as things stand.

Brian and the team at ClearSale took a frustrating, terrible fraud situation and got rid of the headache for me, giving my e-commerce business stability and me peace of mind. 10/10 recommend.

ClearSale is a no-brainer at this point, total peace of mind when shipping to any customer with full understanding if we do our part and ClearSale does theirs we will stop fraud in its tracks.

Been with clear.sale for awhile and so far I haven't had any issues. Knock on wood I've never had to contact support for anything. The service and its software works without any issues or drama and the portal looks better than their competition.

It's nice to know that when a large order comes in I'm ready to take it without a risk from fraud. I pay a bit extra for each transaction but for me the peace of mind is worth the extra cost and the best part is there is no monthly rent for their technology.

Staff are responsive and flexible in problem solving.

Their client-facing web portal could be more streamlined, unified, and accessible with plugins for quickbooks and other accounting software. A mobile app would be the next logical step, as well as SMS, slack, or teams notifications when orders clear as approved.

I found it a hassle to login just to get my monthly billing PDF downloaded. I prefer PDF and CSV as an attachment via email is easier to work with. A simple one-time burnable download token via email without a login would be fine and easier than a full login to gain access to read-only information I'm only going to access once.

Performance wise I found that their software's ability to update the store's order status was on the slow side, requiring you to check your email for order approvals rather than wait for an update to the order status. The experience was less than optimal in terms of workflow efficiency and during busy days I found it delayed my ability to ship out orders. I would prefer to have instant updates as soon as the order clears the fraud check. You always have the option to manually change the order status after checking your emails though.

This company is based in the USA. I would like to see this company registered in Canada as a financial service with a head office in Vancouver and terms of service based on Canadian Laws. As a Canadian customer I'm not happy about being billed as a Canadian in US dollars.

So far this is a more professional looking offering than the competition but the door remains open for other challengers, especially if they are Canadian-domiciled.

As a ecommerce storeowner, I can sleep at night knowing that my store's financial transactions are protected from fraudulent activities. Thanks.
