It’s not worth your time as a guy. Literally I was there for only one hour and 20 minutes because of a couple girl no shows.. and then they marched me with two dudes for a “friend” zone. Total waste of time and money

We're sorry to hear you didn't enjoy the event.
It sounds like there were a couple of late no-shows on the night, which unfortunately left the numbers unbalanced. Rather than ending the event early, we paired a small number of attendees in a friendship round so everyone could continue socialising while the event concluded. We understand that wasn't what you were hoping for, and we appreciate that it was disappointing.
We work very hard to maintain balanced events, but last-minute no-shows can occasionally affect the experience despite our best efforts.
Thank you for your feedback. We'll use it as we continue looking at ways to better manage these situations when they arise.

I would not use CitySwoon again
I would not use CitySwoon again. They are to expensive, charge a no show fee and I was not impressed with the set up, extremely poorly arranged and very negative vibe. The hosts acted as though they wanted to be somewhere else and had better things to do.

Cityswoon hides overcharging in the small print
Cityswoon has continued to charge me $49 per month after I signed up for one event last year. I have only just noticed the withdrawal on my account yesterday. I emailed them and they responded with a screenshot of some details regarding membership and the print is so small you can't read it. So, this is clearly their business model, hide the on-going extra fees in the small print. I have contacted my bank and they are raising a dispute with Ezi debit to recoup this sneaking over charging.

Our no-show fee is there because the balance of attendees is important at speed dating events, but we understand it can be frustrating and we’re sorry this added to your disappointment.

Cityswoon a hit. Met cool, great people. Would do it again. Bar was a bit dark but the great vibes made it bright.

Let's look at the claim: "you have a 95% chance of meeting someone who you are attracted to, and a 90% chance of finding one or more mutual ★★★★★ five star matches."
So based on this, you'd expect to get at least one relationship match per date. However, that was not the case, having gone to 3 events so far and having paid for 3 months membership.
Not only are they being deceptive, but they are also wasting people's money with these lies.

Overall it was a good experience. I have been to a few of their events and met some people. It's a pretty good system.

Refused to refund auto-renewal. OVerpriced
Like other reviewers, I've run into the experience where an unintended auto-renewal happens of the trial membership month.... and they wont' refund.
That's really poor customer service.
Especially for a service that is already overpriced for what is offers.

MONEY GRAB
MONEY GRAB. Not worth your time or money ladies. I only got 5 out of 8 dates. Other three were 'friendship' ones with women. Also be careful that you aren't 'subscribed' after buying one event. I got charged again $117 after 3 months. There was no notification from the company that this money would be coming out. When I asked for it to be refunded (as I never used the subscription, nor did I plan to) they refused.
