I had an appalling experience with Cinch. After my deal was fully agreed and finance was officially in place, Cinch tried to pressure me into manipulating my vehicle valuation. Doing so would have allowed them to charge me an extra £3,800. They threatened to cancel the entire agreed deal if I did not comply. I refused, pointed out that this request was illegal, and they only backed down and accepted the original deal after I threatened to expose their actions.
The issues continued upon delivery. I was blocked from test-driving the vehicle until the official handover was signed. The moment the delivery driver left and I drove the car, it was instantly clear that the suspension was severely faulty. Cinch's vehicle quality checks are completely non-existent.
Their customer aftercare has been a total disaster. They initially told me they would book the car into a local Tesla garage, but Tesla informed me that Cinch had failed to arrange the booking properly. When I told Cinch, they switched the booking to a different garage and promised they would contact me within 48 to 72 hours. No one ever called. I have followed up immediately, and Cinch is now completely ignoring my emails.
I am officially reporting Cinch to both the Financial Ombudsman Service (FOS) and my finance provider. Avoid this company at all costs.

The customer support was great, (5 stars) but the handover for an £18,000 car was unacceptable. (1 star)
The vehicle came with no paperwork, no floor mats (causing the exposed carpet underneath to fray and tear), and poorly cleaned windows with visible smudges. Great support, but very poor vehicle preparation.

Guy dropping off the car was really nice and super helpful (even tho i hadnt cleaned the car). Exchange was very easy and showed me through the new car. Overall 10/10 experiance

The delivery driver ‘Howard’ was very welcoming,informative & helpful.
Presently I am very happy with my new car - I part-exchanged which was very easy - Howard sat in my new car with me & talked me through the ins & outs of the car then handed me the key/paperwork! Easy as that!
He then checked over my car I was part exchanging & drove away!
He also explained I have 14 days to change my mind for a full refund - WIN WIN!

I received the email I have to may £14747 with my VW Passat kp70xtb but when I go for payment I have paid £15168. I have to pay £420 More after agree price.

This is the third car I have purchased via cinch. I have nothing but positivity for their customer service. There were one or two issues to sort with one of the vehicles and cinch were excellent in responding.

Arranged a booking slot and when turned up, no one was at the reception until a lady saw us and said can i help? If you make people book a slot this should be for the hour and assist with showing us the car, we were not handed the key and told your car is down the end open to have a look round. The car was clean enough on the outside and inside but under the engine bay it could have been cleaned of leaves and very dirty, then after review was given the key and the electric battery was dead and a small amount of fuel left on ( good job a garage is very close) for me this was poor service from start to finish at the branch. Our trade in was not even looked at? The lady only wanted the key and V5 no checks nothing. Moving forward i would not buy again from Cinch after this experience.

Had a small problem with my trade in car (air bag light on the dashboard) no quibbles with the trade in! Off I went in my new car…Just to mention cinch customer service agent Ian Neal at Corby was excellent.
