We had an amazing time at Xi'an! The City was a real surprise! Our guide WangXiRuo, Stella Wang was always there to help and tale care of us! She speaks very well italian and made this visit even more special.

My wife and I returned 10 days ago from a 16-day vacation in China, and it completely exceeded our expectations. We visited Guilin, Yangshuo, Longji, Chengdu, Xi'an, Shanghai, Suzhou, and Beijing.
Our original plan had been to join an organized group tour, but there were no vacancies for the period we wanted. This led me to look for alternatives, and after reading all the wonderful reviews about China Culture Tour, we decided to contact them. I can only say it was one of the best decisions I have ever made. Linda, our tour planner, was extremely accommodating to all our requests and suggested excellent options for our activities in each city.
Every guide and driver we met was helpful and welcoming. In fact, one of the things we enjoyed most about this trip was talking with the guides and getting to know them. In Guilin, Cory proved to be a very experienced guide with a great sense of humor. We are especially thankful to him for taking us to the fan-drawing event near Yangshuo — definitely one of the highlights of our holiday. In Chengdu, Leah showed deep knowledge of everything panda-related and more. She made a smart choice about the timing of our visit to the Panda Center, and which entrance to use, so we could see the baby pandas before it got too hot and avoid the bigger crowds. In Xi'an, Eric (王可) was wonderfully enthusiastic, and it was a pleasure to satisfy his curiosity about Portugal. We are also grateful to him for inviting us into his home to make dumplings with his mother — that was truly an endearing experience. In Beijing, we were lucky to have Ford as our guide; he was so knowledgeable about the history of imperial China that our visits to the Forbidden City and the Summer Palace felt like a true history lesson.

We had an amazing trip to Xi’an with Annie as our tour guide. She was informative and helpful with our schedule and adjusting as we needed. She is passionate about her job and happy to show us everything and answer all of our questions. One of our favorite things was riding bikes on the city wall and visiting and dancing with the locals around there in the morning. Thank you Annie!

My 15-Day Custom Private China Tour
I wanted to book a 15-day private tour for my family of three. After conducting thorough online research, I found China Culture Tour, which had significantly better customer ratings than the other two companies I considered. After communicating with all three, I decided to go with China Culture Tour because they offered the best deal.
From the very beginning, our travel agent, Ms. Nora Zheng, carefully crafted an itinerary around our interests, preferences, and travel style. She selected the best hotels in each city we visited and arranged for excellent local tour guides. The level of service throughout the journey was exceptional. From the moment we arrived, every detail was taken care of—including luggage handling and seamless transportation between cities by airplane or train—with local guides greeting us at every pickup and drop-off, making the entire trip completely stress-free.
The flexibility of a private tour tailored to our personal tastes made the journey truly memorable. Nora checked in with us and the local guides frequently to ensure we were well taken care of throughout the trip. She was also available 24/7 by text or phone call; if we wanted to spend more time at a certain location or adjust the schedule, I could simply text Nora. My sons and I just returned from one week (5 day tour) in Hulunbuir/Inner Mongolia. It was so much fun and gorgeous land and horses. Grace Wang of China Culture was terrific in corresponding and helping with an itinerary which we wanted. Lisa Yu was our guide and Bao Yin our driver and they went out of their way to make this a memorable trip. Lisa's English as well as her knowledge of the area and the people were super.

We just finished a 16 day customized tour of China with China culture tours. They were amazing! We covered Beijing, Xian, Kunming, Bei hai, and Guilin ( and yangshuo). We are a family of 9-- with varying interests and attention spans. We loved it. Every detail was conducted with perfection. The transfers were seamless and stress free. The guides were all exceptional. We are excited to come and visit China again. We will definitely use this company in the future.

After extensive research, interviews, and comparisons between different high-end tour companies, we selected China Culture Tours for our 3 week private custom tour to China. We have had a great experience with China culture tours while in china. Tina in Beijing and then the Spring in Xi'an did such a great job! They explained and were very thorough and gave us so much attention and helped us with whatever we needed. They helped us go early to the Great Wall of China and the terracotta warriors so that we could avoid the crowds and had a great time at all the attractions. The food has also been wonderful, helping us to find local places that were not touristy and that tasted great!

I cannot express how amazing China Culture Tours was! My 83-year-old grandma had wanted to visit China for years and years, and after coming across China Tours, we knew she was in good hands. Linda planned an incredibly detailed tour, focused on art and scenery for my grandmother, with plenty of rest breaks and time to relax if need be. She spent nearly 20 days in Hangzhou and Suzhou, with guides from China Tour the entire time. They organized not only amazing sights and experiences, but also all transportation, making sure she never had the chance to get lost or confused.
