We are a 3rd generation family business based just outside Aylesbury, in Buckinghamshire. We began trading under the name Aylesbury Toxophily Crafts Ltd, creating leatherworks for the sport. We now operate out of a 12,000 square foot facility set on 7 acres of land, which includes a fully stocked showroom and both indoor and outdoor archery ranges. We work with archers of a vast range of ages and abilities, having developed a number of internationally acclaimed athletes. Our Parent Company, Petron, has contributed to the sport through the years with technical developments, such as our hugely popular Petron S3 Shoot-Through bow. We are LGBTQ+ inclusive, have a fully accessible facility for all disabilities, and are dog-friendly.

Good indoor and outdoor shooting
Good indoor and outdoor shooting facilities and a very helpful team in the shop. Ive always found a friendly atmosphere here and they are open during the day which adds flexibility when evenings are too busy to fit in a round.

The riser was delivered promptly
The riser was delivered, but nothing fitted. Contacting Chiltern they said return it and they would correct. Tis they did and returned promptly and everything fits.

Very helpful and knowledgeable people.
I was helped by John who put an orange string on my bow, I also purchased some carbon arrows from behind the counter, they are very nice. Collected pins and target.
I had come for a shoot on the field, which unfortunately had quite long grass and all the clippings had been left on, so finding wayward arrows was a bit of a pain.

no return of delivery fee
not so much what went wrong, I purchased some goods and they were collected by a friend of mine who happened to be going down there, however I was still charged a delivery fee of £8. No effort to return that money, which would be nice without prompting.

First bow - Kinetic Vygo
Arranged visit to choose first bow having investigated options first to gauge my budget. Martin had a couple of useful suggestions, which confirmed some of my thoughts. Tried the bow with decent test arrows for about 20 minutes on their range and found it suited me. 4 weeks later still shooting happily with it.
