We ordered dining chairs as a company (B2B purchase) a year ago with a written statement from Mr. Hoogeveen (hoogeveen atchesterfield.com), that they would be delivered within three months (November 2025). After numerous attempts to contact them and requests for a refund due to non-fulfillment of the order to Jodi Hogeveen,, l.wemmenhove) the furniture did not arrive. Today I reported them for fraud within the framework of the European Union's fraud reporting department. I have submitted all emails and the address listed on the website and in the email with the correspondence. I will report here what has been done, step by step.

I was perplexed and scared because of the reviews, and the fact that they didn't respond, but they respected the delivery times agreed upon at the beginning of the first payment of the order! The Chesterfield is beautiful! Arrived in Italy in Florence from Groningen in less than a week! Very kind Sophie! THANKS AND GREETINGS FROM FLORENCE!

Potential scam in my view
I have waited 22 weeks for furniture that they committed to deliver after 6 weeks after full payment. They neither t answer emails nor phone calls. I believe I've been scammed and filed a financial fraud report to FIOD in the Netherlands a week ago.

Still zero contact and no reason to believe this isn’t a scam. Worst experience I’ve ever had purchasing furniture. Will likely have to use an attorney to get what we spent back.
Update:
I used the chat function on their website and asked to place an order, just to see if I would get a response. Almost immediately I got a response from the very person that has ignored my emails for months. Now I am two years into an order, have paid the final balance (big mistake) and was supposed to receive my order in December. Repeated emails go unanswered and no assistance is provided.
Impossible to get responses from them
As many other users have already stated, I am also facing issues trying to contact this company to get feedback about my order.
In my case, I placed the order on April 2025 and pay the deposit, and no responses since then to my emails or my telephone calls.
I can understand that orders may be delayed, but it is not acceptable to avoid responding to customers to inform them.
As other people, I'm starting to think if this is a scam...
Bank je kunt niet anuleren zonder 80% te betalen.
Bank zou binnen 2 week geleverd worden, na aanbetaling. het werd maanden later. annuleren kan alleen als je 80% vN DE AANKOOP SOM BETAALD!
Toen hij geleverd was bleek het een dure miskoop te zijn, de bank (kussens en leuningen) zit zo hard dat van luxe en comfort geen sprake is.je zit luxer in een bushokje. nu na een half jaar overweeg ik hem naar de kringloop te doen of vuilnisdienst.
14 MONTHS FOR A CHAIR AND STILL BEING MIA
It has been 14 months since I placed my order (#240855244). I’ve sent numerous emails and filed several complaints. Although I did receive "some" replies with updated completion timelines (which I’ve lost count of how many times they’ve given me new dates along with questionable excuses). After several delays, my recent emails have gone completely unanswered.
I chose self-pickup instead of delivery, but I still haven’t received any update on the production progress. At this point, I’m starting to feel like this might be a fraud, and I’ve decided to leave a review here in hopes of finally getting a response for refund.
No idea if we will ever receive our order
Unfortunately, we have to conclude that, almost 18 months after placing our order (and making payment) in may 2024, we still have not received our seats. Our requests for clarification are rarely, if ever, answered. The two responses we did receive stated that the seats would be delivered soon. Unfortunately, these too turned out to be empty promises. We hope that we will receive a response through this channel.

Order 250455594 geplaatst, levering voorzien week 36/2025. Niets geleverd of gehoord van deze firma.Ik heb 2 maal gemaild om info over een nieuwe leveringsdatum. Besluit, je bestelt en betaalt en daarna hoor niets meer van deze firma. Best te vermijden

We placed a large order with Chesterfield back in April 2025 and received a formal confirmation right away. Since then, we have heard absolutely nothing.
We have sent multiple emails, tried calling several times, and even reached out through different contact addresses — but no one replies. It’s been months, and we still have no information about production, shipping, or delivery.
For a company that promotes itself as a premium furniture brand, this level of customer service is shocking and completely unacceptable. When you invest thousands for a large order, you expect at least some basic communication and transparency.
At this point, we are deeply disappointed and concerned about whether we will ever receive what we paid for. I strongly urge Chesterfield to take responsibility and start treating their customers with respect.
Update complaint
Update : just as with other customers, chesterfield.com agreed to the reimbursement however no reimbursement received and emails are unanswered. Mr Hoogeveen does not reply at all anymore nor Simona nor anyone for that matter.

Finally received my ordered sofas
I bought for over a year ago 3 sofas with this company. I went for quality and good service, but after the first delay mails I became a bit scared that I would not receive any sofas at all. At a certain point, they restored the contact with me and gave me more specific delivery information.... and yesterday I finally received the sofas and they are amazing! So if the communication was better from the beginning I would definitely give 5 stars, but for now I will just enjoy my Chesterfiels sofas.

B2B- Very bad experience - stay away
Same as other bad experiences. Not only B2C customers get this treatment, same goes for us B2B customers. Deposit paid for order 241055340. Received their confirmation on 23 October 2024. Now and again, Mrs Pekel does reply however last reply dated from 20 March 2025. Emails from 26 May, 4 June, 14 June are still without reply. Seems like a scam. Last mail had ordersupport, r.sin, delivery all in 'to' and 'cc'. Hope to hear from them soon and hope to finally receive the order if not we will need to file a report with the Dutch police but just all in all a very very bad experience.

they confirmed the order 08.november 2024 ,received deposit 12.11.2024,and we are still waiting for a delivery.they don t communicate.so i tried to order another chair just now and we have received the same order confirmation but diffderent payment conditions,different account number,different account owner.it really seems to turn to a fraud.the best solution will probably be to contact police.we contacted chesterfield sofa in england and they confirmed that they never cooperated with this Dutch company.

The last delivered order no.240354966 was in oktober 2024 .in addition to this order i ordered on 8 th november 2024 a Royal-Captains seater, leather,birch ivory, order no.#2000000160,order confirmation no.241155375 by the same company : chesterfield BV ,Hoendiep 208,NL 9745 ED Groningen, received an invoice,paid a deposit 1045,00 eur but Until now I havent received any delivery! Nobody responds my emajls, nobody communicates!
So hopefully it will change now???
