Yesterday I was trying change my flight to 24 june but told me I can't and cannot be refunded because the ticket not issued yet since is not issued why cannot be refunded or change date

I like the service

I had a very disappointing experience with CheapTickets regarding a schedule change on my booking.

After an airline-initiated change, I contacted customer service on 10 June 2026 to rebook my flight. I was told by multiple agents that the rebooking had been confirmed and that I would receive an updated e-ticket within 48 hours. I was later asked to wait again and assured the ticket would be issued shortly.

At no point was I clearly informed that the rebooking was still subject to airline approval or seat availability. Based on what I was told, I reasonably believed the new itinerary had been secured.

After a significant delay and multiple enquiries, I was eventually informed that no suitable alternative could be found. By then, availability and prices had changed significantly. I was then only offered either an itinerary with a very long layover or a refund, neither of which met my travel needs.

The main issue here is not just the outcome, but the lack of clear communication and consistency during the process. I was repeatedly told to wait without being given accurate information about the status of my booking, which ultimately left me worse off.

Overall, this experience has affected my trust in CheapTickets. Better transparency and more accurate communication from the beginning would have prevented this situation. To add on, there were multiple times where the agents sent me information of other flights/offered me things totally different or even replied me in a rude or incoherent manner, it was very evident that majority of them were incompetent in assisting me.

It was not even that cheap to be worth all this frustration and trouble. Better to book elsewhere.

Update: After almost a week of uncertainty and promising me reschedules, the agency has forced me into a corner of accepting a refund WITHOUT seeking any approval from me. I sure hope they transfer it immediately as I see they owe a lot of people money here from trust pilot.

Smooth transaction. Hope no issue with the tickets. However price jump a bit during transaction. Was wondering caused by demand or advertising tactics.

During online checked in, it was not successful as the passport uploaded name is mismatched by a single spacing from the eticket. Called the help center, the customer service checked the sytem and reassured that I should be able to check in on departure day at the airport with no issue. Indeed after I entered the booking no# in the self check-in machine and scanned my passport, I was able to print the boarding pass with no issue.

Overall is smooth and just have to went to airport earlier in case there is any issue and will have sufficient time to resolve the problem.
