Prompt and excellent service
Prompt and excellent service. There is a 5 year guarantee on the chair together with a follow-up service. The chair itself is excellent and everything I wanted. I have no hesitation in recommending Charterhouse Mobility and will certainly use other products they provide when and if the need arises.

I was finding it difficult to alight…
I was finding it difficult to alight from my armchair and decided to purchase an electric recliner chair. I checked a number of suppliers and Charterhouse were the first to respond. I received a visit from Ed who brought a chair with him and demonstrated the advantages, and I chose the fabric which would compliment my lounge's decor. The chair has proved to be very relaxing, comfortable and easy to alight from and I have a 5 year warranty. The service and back up was professional and friendly

Excellent & efficient service
Excellent & efficient service from start to finish.
Henry came to us on a Thursday evening to show us the options & demonstrated use of a riser recliner chair for my mum. He was courteous, knowledgeable & ensured that my mum ordered what was best for her. Knowing that we needed the chair urgently, it was arranged for delivery a few days later on the Tuesday morning. Jack came on time & assembled the chair & removed an old one as agreed. He was very helpful & ensured mum was happy using the chair before he left. I highly recommend using this family run company & am grateful for them putting a smile on my mum’s face after many weeks.

First impressions and prompt service.
We emailed Charterhouse Mobility on Sunday with a first enquiry. Tom phoned us at 9.30a.m on Monday to arrange a demonstration of a recliner chair. Henry came to us on Thursday afternoon at the time agreed to demonstrate it. He was knowledgeable, enthusiastic and efficient and altogether helpful in taking us through the process of choosing and purchasing a chair. We look forward to its delivery.

Very positive experience from start to finish. The team and Jack in particular have worked hard to create a chair swiftly for my mother. She has deteriorated rapidly and the chair was been essential in her care. My Dad sneaks a go with the heat and massage when he can.

I called Charterhousemobility for a bed on behalf of my mother who was struggling to sleep due to COPD , first of all the service from start to finish has been flawless the gentleman who did the demonstration was extremely knowledgable and put my mother at ease. We Contacted Charter house for my elderly grandfather last month and all i can say is what a wonderful experience it was top to bottom, he's very pleased with the end result it was very important to him to have a British made chair and specifically something that he can raise his legs due to pain he experiences - which this chair has helped with. we will probably be back for my other half's parents in around a year.

Stop preying on the vulnerable
Your sales team member preyed on my elderly relative and wouldn’t take no for an answer, pressurising them to write a cheque for £3,850 there and then! Luckily a family member happened to arrive unexpectedly, and prevented the sale going any further!
What disappoints me the most, was the sales person miraculously offered a further £1,200 discount after being rumbled!
Maybe you should offer that lower discounted price straight away, as you are obviously making enough margin at that price.
Can I suggest also that you are more considerate, insisting a family member or neighbour is present when demonstrating a product to someone who lives alone.
Please stop preying on the vulnerable!

We would never prey on the venerable, ever. We pride ourselves in the ethical, friendly and fair approach that we have instilled in all aspects of our business.
To your suggestion, we cannot 'insist' that someone be accompanied by a family member or neighbour as it is not always possible but we ALWAYS encourage it and we ask every single time if the person we are visiting would like a relative or friend with them for the appointment.

Best company for furniture by a mile
From start to finish there was not any problems at all. Every body was courteous when dealing with us. When I wanted to pay for the chairs by bank transfer instead of over the phone, there was not any problem. The chairs my wife and I purchased are top notch and worth every penny. I know that some people would say they are expensive, but they are worth every penny and then some.

Excellent service in all areas
All the staff were very helpful in helping my 91 year old mum & dad get just what was needed and quickly so dad could come home from hospital.
They bought a double adjustable bed with separate mattress controls. The bed was assembled by the lovely delivery people.
Adam at customer services was also fantastic at helping.
Overall very satisfied and highly recommend
