I’ve recommended Charity Hive to three of the charities I’m involved with, and each one has watched their fundraising take off. We’ve always received a friendly, personal and informative experience and they know their stuff!

Moving our fundraising completely online was daunting but we’ve raised more funds since moving to Charity Hive! The system has been really easy to get to grips with and the support team is incredibly responsive. After the setup, which included the migration of our old website handled completely by Charity Hive, we were given a full onboarding session via Zoom. Nothing seemed too much and communication throughout was much appreciated. I’d highly recommend.

June 2025: Our school PTA has used this for 2 school fairs now (nearly a year). The platform itself is great and we have found it useful, particularly for putting our raffle and silent auction online. The only thing which is irritating is that we can't reliably get a response from the team whenever we have an issue, which makes me hesitant to recommend it to others. I have actually recommended it to 3 other charities (2 school PTAs and a Scout group) but always with the caveat that support is non-existent. This makes it stressful in situations where time is critical - which is often the case when raffles and silent auctions are coming to an end, and there is an issue with these. To be fair, I believe when we were setting up the website, even though we didn't always get a response, I think they were making amends behind the scenes and not telling us about it, so it may be lack of communication rather than complete lack of action. If they raised their game in this regard, I would give it 5 stars - and happy to amend this TrustPilot review if they ever do get back to me more reliably in the future!

Update Nov 2025: I do think the platform communication has improved, as Dan has introduced a chatbot which helps with immediate questions - but I still can't give the communication 5 stars, as we rarely get responses to questions which are outside the chatbot's ability. On several recent occasions I've asked questions which the chatbot can't answer at the time (fair enough), but we don't get any follow-up response later. I will increase my score to 5 stars if we start receiving genuine responses to the more complex questions - even if that response is a reason why the platform can't do what we need it to. I also wonder if sometimes Dan IS implementing features I've requested, but not telling us he has done so? Other than that, it's a great platform and we are using it more widely now beyond raffles and silent auctions - trialling it for ticket sales too - and I've recommended it to other charities also. This is our second year using charity hive platform for our PTA. Once you set up it is so easy to carry forward in the following year. The support from charity hive has been fantastic. The low cost charges helps our charity to be able to grant more funding towards requests made by school to support.

We have been so impressed with Charity Hive. Our fundraising activities are now all in one place which makes it so much easier for our charity and our supporters. The support is top notch and everything is so intuitive.

Charity Hive has completely changed the way we run the PTA for our school. Easy to use and so versatile. At times, a life and timesaver!
