Your review describes our conduct in a manner that is inconsistent with our records and the documented sequence of events. We respectfully believe it presents a disproportionate and inaccurate characterisation of what occurred.
Upon arriving at the property, our team encountered unforeseen access restrictions, namely a single, small lift, which significantly increased the complexity and duration of the move. We sent you one WhatsApp message, which simply stated: "We would like to charge you more for the difficult access." That was the entirety of our communication regarding additional costs. There were no repeated requests, no pressure applied, and no additional charges were ever made. You paid only the original quoted price.
With regard to your allegation of damaged furniture, this is the first time any such concerns have been brought to our attention since your move. We carry comprehensive Goods in Transit insurance precisely so that any genuine damage claims can be investigated and resolved promptly. As no damage was reported to us following the completion of the move, we were never given the opportunity to inspect the items or assist you through the appropriate claims process.
We remain committed to professionalism, transparency, and resolving concerns fairly. Should you wish to discuss this matter constructively and in good faith, we remain available by email at info@changingkeys.co.uk.

Fantastic help.
The guys that helped did a fantastic job, loading and unloading, making sure everything was handled with care. The price was very reasonable as some quotes I received were almost double. They made a very stressful time very easy and cost effective.

Sunderland to Devon
I had a big move planned, from Sunderland to Devon, and I was really anxious about using a removals company, but everything with Changing Keys was amazing and made the process a huge relief. The communication was really good, they asked the cheapest quote I'd found so far and beat it, and let me choose the arrival time for the van (I booked a few weeks in advance). The van arrived on time, my stuff was stored in the van securely and made it the 7 hour drive all in one piece, the driver did the journey straight down, and got to my new home a little before I did, where my boyfriend was waiting to help unload.

Working with Changing Keys was smooth
Working with Changing Keys – House Removal was fantastic.
I contacted them yesterday to move my items from London to Harpenden, and they responded immediately, promising to come the next day. The price was very fair, and the work was done quickly with no damage. Communication with the staff was excellent. I really appreciated the care taken during the move.
I would definitely recommend Changing Keys to anyone looking for a safe, stress-free, reliable, and efficient moving service.
