Our tour guide Carol made everything go incredibly well, she not only booked experiences but discussed the activities with us to make sure we get the best experience possible

It’s a great opportunity to learn about different cultures. As well as making a difference to others. It’s an amazing opportunity for you to grow and discover yourself.

Challenges abroad allowed me to experience the incredible country of Tanzania and also be able to have a huge impact on the lives of some amazing children at the local private school. We were able to refurbish some of the classroom to provide a positive learning environment and also give lessons to classes. I would highly recommend a trip with challenges abroad as you meet so many amazing people and make some of the most precious memories that will change your perspective on everything and be internally grateful

I really enjoyed my time on my Challenges Abroad trip. It was unlike anything I'd done before really, and I found it really rewarding. I would very defiantly do it all again!

Seeing so many wonderful places such as the Taj Mahal, leopard safari, monasteries, and Wildlife SOS Park really made the trip so memorable. I will be forever grateful for being chosen to go on the trip. FutureSense Foundation staff were incredible along with attending lecturers. I will never forget this trip.

My experience with the Global Citizenship Programme in Panama has been incredible. Through running workshops in two schools in rural Panama I’ve had the opportunity to experience a different culture, learn to communicate across a language barrier, improved in confidence and developed my leadership skills. What has stood out most for me has been the amazing team I’ve worked alongside. I came into the trip not knowing the rest of the group very well, but through our teamwork and shared experience we very quickly became close, it was a difficult goodbye! I would highly recommend taking part in a Global Citizenship Programme if given the opportunity. It’s the kind of experience that sticks with you forever- full of amazing memories and the chance to gain important life skills that will benefit you for the rest of your life. I would do it again any day!

This was the most amazing experience ever. I helped facilitate schools and learners there and honestly I think it was such an amazing opportunity. The learners over there gained so much from us and we gained so much from them. You will never leave the same person after.

I have just come home from Tanzania after spending two weeks there with Challenges Abroad. I have had the most amazing experience volunteering in a primary school and have made memories that will stay with me for a life time. There is a good balance between volunteering and free time so that you have a chance to enjoy the culture. I couldn’t recommend enough if you get the chance to participate in a Challenges Abroad programme.

The trip was well organised with excellent on site management.

I visited Nepal with a group of people from my year at school and we had the best time together. Getting to really engage with another culture, and see some incredible sights. We loved going to the school and seeing everyone, making bonds with the children, making workshops just for them. If you have this opportunity, please take it! You will have a great time.

I felt so welcome and looked after, whilst feeling homesick everyone was so eager to make me feel at ease and happier and it worked, especially grace!!! All my needs were taken into account and I felt important and a really valued member of the team

Where to begin. This was Amazing! Everyone was so caring and friendly that it made it feel like my second home. I already miss it so much! I wouldn’t change anything for the world if I went back there, which is what I’m doing in December.

I've thoroughly enjoyed my experience in Nepal, especially working with the children at the school! Nepal was such a lovely place.
All the FutureSense Foundation GMPIs were so friendly and supportive throughout, patiently answering all of our questions and were always there to take care of us. Olivia from Challenges Abroad was also so kind and was there with us through our whole journey, we all bonded so well.

This experience was amazing, before going I was very shy and quiet but this has brought out my confidence massively aswell as my communication skills. The locals were lovely and the children were so happy to see us and I’m very grateful to have had that opportunity to help their life’s
