CEF Anmeldelser 

Todays date is 16 august. I havent received my order yet. I checked the tracking website and last update was 'closed-no access' but I am unsure what this means as I'm a domestic residence ordering a replacement sensor. Paid for delivery within 1-2 days, noted overnight on the tracking site.l and ordered 11 August. Was dispatched pretty quickly, within a day on tracking site, but now 5 days since ordered and the item still not received.

I bought a Makita SDS drill machine with batteries, charger and box online. Expensive bit of kit.
1) I didn't receive notification that the item was ready to collect at my chosen store, I had to chase the delivery via customer services.
2) More importantly, when I did receive the item, I noted that the Makita box wasn't sealed, looked like it had already been opened. These items usually have a security seal on the outer packaging. The contents inside the Makita box, i.e., SDS drill, charger, batteries had no packaging whatsoever. They were just tossed inside, banging around in transit. Not a piece of cardboard, plastic, foam, polystyrene in sight. This machine isn't cheap, but you are certainly given the cheap feeling as a customer. My current machine had burnt out mid way through a job, I needed the new machine desperately, otherwise I would have definitely returned this one ! I hope I haven't been given a dud machine. Not happy at all.

Quick and good service

Generally a great experience, only to be let down by the FedEx courier. As my purchase was a “To Be Signed For” delivery, only for the FedEx driver to my delivery on the doorstep, and do a runner!!!!! So sorry CEF, but FedEx let you down

Good item, good price. Much quieter than my previous fan

Everything was great apart from the delivery company. No notification they were coming. I had to rely on my date chosen. When the guy came in his dirty DX van he cheerfully dumped it outside my front door in a classic knock and run. An £80 item just left assuming we were in. Get a decent delivery company that does what you ask them to do

Really didnt expect Allen Keys to be bubble wrapped within the box. That diligence is commendable. Never been anything other than impressed with CEF.

Very fast delivery and unbeatable price

Ordered late evening, dispatched 8am next day, and with me 11am the next. 30 minutes to fit 3 downlights. Pushfit connections, pick the light colour on switch and test the dimmer. Seamless.

Ordered one day delivered next morning as promised. Well packaged with all contents complete. Could ask for nothing more.

Ordered some white ducting online for delivery. Delivery cost was reasonable however the item was poorly packaged - it was only wrapped along around 40% of the length, meaning the rest was scratched and dulled. The bits that were wrapped were covered in such a way that it was very difficulty and time consuming to get off, so the worst of both worlds packaging wise!

Despite this, price was good and probably would use CEF again. I just wish they had an option to get the item delivered to a cef store for free like Screwfix and Toolstation do. That would make the total price even more attractive.

First time I have used CEF, following a random online search for a hand combi-drill. After seeing what I was after, I checked out the company, terms and references / reviews. It was then time to back my findings, an upgraded drill body was ordered to replace my old faulty one, at a price which bettered the purchase and fitting of spare parts - what was not to like. Delivered quickly, well packaged and can only recommend them. Will use them in the future, thanks folks. :-)
