Great experience from start to finish. We ordered four of the 4' planters and the "feet". Communication was good as to when we would receive the order (Huge bonus that shipping is free!). Everything came well packaged and was easy to assemble. Highly recommend using a ratchet and socket rather than a wrench to assemble. Solid product, well designed, and great value. Love supporting small businesses. Thanks!

I love the cedar planters so much that I now have seven! I also got the covers, and they've made a big difference as we've had weird weather this spring.

Do not expect to receive your planters for several weeks!!!! Not even any tracking info. I followed up with them and I am given vague info on when it will ship, 1 week after purchase. No date, no tracking as not even shipped yet. I don't trust this service and expected efficient delivery as Canadian company. It would come faster from China. Very disappointed. Don't know how they can be BBB certified.

Terrible customer service box came busted, parts were broken. Took 4 weeks to get replacement parts even shipped, refuse to give a refund for a cheap product that’s got zero quality control. Paid for “premium” wood, can’t imagine the non premium wood.

We ordered in the fall and put the first box together in the spring. There were no holes in one of the end pieces, and they were timely in sending a new one. Once together we were quite pleased so we ordered a second one when we saw the price of $150 for an 18" wide. It took a month to arrive and sadly the end pieces and slats were 11". When replacements finally arrived, one of those pieces had only the top and bottom holes drilled but we managed to do it ourselves. The liner is an important part of the box holding the soil. With the second box, instead of the nice quality, heavy-duty form-fitted liner, we received a flat, thin, toxic-smelling huge black sheet! How are we expected to use this? So while we see their ads absolutely everywhere on the Internet, if more time isn't spent on quality control, they will get more reviews like this.

This is a high quality product. Wood will not be perfect and knots will be present. Having said that, care appears to be present in ensuring that the exterior has the best cuts.

I had a "minor" issue with a broken interior support. My box was ordered in the fall to take advantage of great pricing deals. When I opened it up in the spring, there was clearly a broken support piece. When I emailed customer service (with photo proof), they were professional, apologetic and offered to replace the broken piece (with a discount for the inconvenience) or to send a new side.

I appreciate that Cedar Planters stood behind their workmanship, especially since the product was opened 6 months later.

I ordered a month ago, have emailed twice to see when it will ship. A few weeks back was told things would ship by end of week. They didn't so I followed up again.

Finally, after I emailed today to ask for a refund, they said they are shipping my order. I am in Canada and so are they—there's no excuse for this timeline or the poor communication.

The service is very bad, and now my order is likely to arrive when I'm out of town. They don't care.

Horrible customer service and only after multiple attempts and indication that I would request reimbursement did anyone contact me about satisfying order up which could a month after order. Do not order from them. It has been over a week from the order an no idea when the product will be received.

Ordered April 4 /2026 - now April 28 - no order - paid for - no response to email, voice mail, What's App....all good reviews were a year ago. Are they out of business??

I ordered 2 raised cedar boxes on April 5, 3 weeks have gone by now. I understand it can take longer than that. Sent an email and left a voice mail, just to check status. No response. I paid for them so hope my order isn’t lost. Lisa

I had to have a friend build this planter box for me. Many of the holes to put the bolts through did not match up and made it difficult to assemble.
It certainly takes much longer than 15-20
Minutes.
The product itself is nice and worth the price. The new style cloth liner is really made well.

The garden bed is gorgeous!
I bought it to be shipped in February, it arrived early March, but the customer service team was so kind when I emailed about the status of my order. The smell of the Cedar is really strong and lovely.

I ordered on February 21. Supposed to be shipped in March. I have tried to find status, the "SHOP" thingy doesn't work for me, I get nothing. I'm frustrated and concerned.
RECEIVED a prompt answer from Cedar Planters with answers. Received my planters on April 1st.

I should’ve read the negative reviews on here before purchasing. TRUST THE NEGATIVE REVIEWS! I purchased the planter on February 13 and selected to have it ships in February. Then received an email on February 15 saying they’re getting the order ready and in the email and subsequent emails after, they just try to upsell you to order more. Yet it’s now mid-March and the order that I placed in February still has not been shipped. Would not recommend this company as they’re unreliable and unethical. I recommend people to also file a complaint to the Canadian Business Bureau so they can be held accountable and improve their practices.

First of all they make a good product and I already have one. Problem is they can’t seem to get it to you in any sort of a cogent way. I’ve received two notifications of expected delivery dates for a recent order the last being the day before yesterday and nothing has arrived. Now when I look on their website they can’t tell where it is and they don’t even know if it’s ready to be shipped or not. That is unacceptable and I will not buy from them again

Although it did take a little longer to receive my planter boxes, it was well worth the wait!! Not only are these boxes beautiful but they assemble perfectly together. You can even watch a step by step video on how to assemble. If you've ever ordered anything from China, the instructions, if you get any, don't make sense and you always have to modify something to fit together.
It was so satisfying Cedar Planters supplies everything you need and again they were a piece of cake to put together.
So just be patient, Cedar Planters are overwhelmed with orders.

In our modern era of on-line products that are misrepresented b/c they are not the actual quality as represented, these Cedar Planters are the real deal. They are exceptional quality including the fasteners, and the pre-drilled holes line up perfectly. They are also very reasonably priced and the customer service is extraordinary. BTW, do stain the planters b/c they look awesome once stained.

No complaints here. I own a variety of planters. I totally love them. They were easy to put together. I look forward to Spring for my variety of outdoor plants. They remain beautiful looking throughout the Seasons. Thanks Cedar Planters, great job well done!!
