I was in a very difficult situation and without the support of my union rep Brian Lashley i would not have coem to an agreement with my employer. Without a shadow of a doubt without his support the employer with HR suport would have run circles around me and left me broken. Thankyou Brian nothing but praise for the service.

My husband decided not to pay Unite the union because they are affiliated with the company he works for. Thetefore he didn't think if anything happened they would be neutral. With that in mind we contacted Castle Associates and was fortunate to be allocated a Rep called Quizer. I can honestly say from beginning to end Quizer went through our case and supported my husband understanding the case with both professionalism and empathy. At no stage did we feel he didn't listen, understand or explain the way forward and how he would put together the case. The union rep would call me to arrange a schedule for a meeting prior to me seeing my manager and HR. But the rep wouldn't follow up in calling me for the meeting he scheduled. This was done more than once. But the company still charged me for the rep calling me in arranging the meeting. When I raised this as a problem with the company, their defence was that the rep isn't an employee of their service and to take it up with the person directly. I.e. they don't take responsibility for any problems caused by the rep. When I said to the company I wanted to end the contract with the service, the lady over the phone informed me that they will need to get the invoice from the rep before closing the case.

From my initial enquiry with Castle Associates to being allocated a union rep, the experience was excellent. I had many questions, and they were answered promptly and professionally. My union rep was really helpful in guiding me through my case and demonstrated exceptional knowledge, which boosted my confidence ahead of a grievance meeting. I am glad I made the right choice and would heartily recommend them to anyone who needs union representation within their workplace
