I have never written 1* review before. I feel totally let down by C&B and still left in the dark about a large order placed on behalf of two companies I work for. I want to share my experience and suggest that others do not purchase from them. As it stands, I do not know where my orders are and I am getting chased by their intended recipients which is embarrassing for both myself and the companies involved.
Placing 2 orders for approx 45 bespoke hampers, I started organising this order with Morwenna and Cooper in October, finalising the order on 15th November, to be delivered 11th December to multiple clients.
I initially had problems with Cooper repeatedly getting our gift cards wrong: using incorrect logo (found online?) to the one I sent, sizing logos comically large, and then placing them so that our giftmessage text was cut off. I was worried at how little care was put into a seemingly common-sense task.
The invoices were paid for in good time, but as the delivery date came round, I discovered both orders had been sent to our invoice address rather than client addressess... Thereafter, I have been totally mucked around, fobbed off with lack of communication and am still none the wiser to where these orders are now.
Monday 11.30 - called to say that both orders had been shipped to invoice address on pallet. Was not given an apology on the phone. I can't see how this mistake could be made twice, but was told it was a warehouse issue. One courier with the pallet took away the first company's order there and then, and I was told the other courier would return that day for the other order. I was sent a follow up email from Morwenna after the call confirming an update would come shortly on that courier.
2.30 - with no update, I sent an email expressing my disappointment and asking to be compensated for the Named Delivery fee we paid for each hamper on each order, and asking for update on courier.
I called later that day for Morwenna, who was unavailable. I asked to be put through to a manager in customer services and was sent to a voicemail twice.
At the end of the working day, I got through to Morwenna who told me instead that the courier would come tomorrow morning as they couldnt fit me in today. She sent confirmation of this, but I could see that the collection was infact only requested after the 5pm phone call. It clearly hadn't been arranged previously, and I had waited all day for it... Essentially, I was lied to.
The following day (Tues), a courier collected the remaining order at the end of the day, giving tracking slips.
On Wednesday I could see that this was due to be delivered to the warehouse that afternoon. I called to confirm the timings that it would be repacked and dispatched, and asked for an update on the order that was returned to the warehouse on Monday afternoon. I was told that they were ready and packed and that an excel sheet would be sent to me imminently with tracking information. It wasn't.
Now today, Thursday, I've still had no update. I called for Morwenna, who will seemingly not take my calls. The Customer Service agent I spoke to told me that Cooper said he will send the tracking information 'now'. This was at 2pm, and I have still not received it at 16.30.
This experience has been humiliating for me, professionally. I have clients chasing me, and in turn have to explain this situation to my management. Whilst the huge mistake of sending not one but TWO orders to the invoice address could be forgotten if they were recovered quickly, I find I must write this review simply for how awful the customer experience has been, and how unproffessional and evasive Morwenna in particular has been.
I have never written a one star review before, and can appreciate Christmas is a busy period. But this level of poor service is ridiculous. I still have not had any response to my request for delivery costs being reimbursed and I still do not have any idea where thousands of pounds worth of hampers are.

Great food and I couldn’t believe how quickly it arrived! I ordered it in the evening as a last minute present, and it had arrived beautifully packaged by lunch the next day.
I Got a hamper for my 60 th birthday present and to be quite honest it’s all nicely packaged but the products themselves for a supposedly top of the range company are very average to say the least in some cases in my opinion are poor to say the least wouldn’t touch them with a barge pole.Feel sorry for my family spending there money in this hamper.If this company thinks there hampers are high end they are deluded.This company thinks there tea is one of the best it’s pretty poor to say the least.Got to say very bog standard reply to my review I have to say the the Chocolates are some of the worst I have ever had .

Amazingly tasty chocolates, lovely advent calendar!!
This was my third annual purchase of a Christmas hamper. Whist the previous two years have been spot on. This years experience has been disappointing. The delivery arrived and the wooden crate was really badly damaged. It had split in two on end and was completely unusable and ungiftable. Customer services picked up my email quickly and sent out a replacement wooden crate. This too arrived damaged. Another email sent off but this time no reply so I followed up with a phone call and all I got offered was a refund for the cost of the crate. The cost of the crate is £35 on their website however the refund was only for £29.32.
Ill be on the lookout for another hamper company next year…

All items were carefully packed. The shipment came in two separate deliveries, the second was delivered to the wrong address. Customer service were very helpful and replied very quickly. They gave the likely house that the delivery was made by checking the information from the GPS. Ĝot the package safely. The items are as described on the website and will make lovely gifts. Would buy again, thank you.

A real treat
Order the 2kg comb honey, fantastic quality and service. A high quality product, highly recommend.
All year, I eat a very low carb diet so no cake, biscuits, rice, pasta etc. However, at Christmas I have a week of eating what I want and every year I buy myself a gorgeous C&B Cherry and Almond decorated round fruit cake in a tin. It is so fruity, moist and I love it!.
I also bought some shortbread and ginger biscuits along with a lemon drizzle cake and an apricot and fig loaf for the rest of my family to enjoy.
It was all easy to order and quick to arrive. I was surprised not to receive a confirmation email of my order but then it was with me in 2 days so not a huge issue.
All the products look lovely and we are looking forward to eating them.
Only scored 4 stars as I was disappointed to see some of the biscuits that I ordered for £5.50 in my local farm shop for £3.65!. I would have expected ordering directly to have been a bit cheaper not more expensive!
Website is easy to negotiate with a decent range of products that are well labelled (helps with those who have allergy issues)
Excellent delivery company used (DPD) so never have to worry if parcel ends up elsewhere as has happened recently
