I gave 5 stars because the item I bought was a lovely deep pile carpet at a good price. And... I was kept informed throughout the process, even when the delivery van broke down. Not theirs, the one used by the company subcontracted to do the delivery. Stuff happens. But it's not what happens, it's how you deal with it that makes all the difference. My philosophical approach to the issue took the pressure off, and allowed everyone to achieve the best outcome. That said, Carpets Online reacted brilliantly which underlines their customer-centric service and desire to achieve the best standards for everyone. If I was Which?, I would have rated Carpets Online as 'Highly Recommended' and 'Best Choice'.
The carpet has, since, been fitted and looks and feels as good as the sample promised.

Great company to deal with, really happy with my bedroom and hallway carpets but their customer service and advice was brilliant beginning to end. We will be back.

I bought a carpet and underlay from this company,the price for the carpet was excellent as I got real quality carpet for nearly half price,the carpet is luxury and feels soft and comfortable underfoot with great colour,the underlay was also of good quality and I am really happy with my purchase and will be buying from this company again,the carpet was delivered for free too
