Carla Elizabeth is a Suffolk artist, workshop host and creator of the Feathered Friends and Carla's Tits collections. Inspired by birds, wildlife, the Suffolk coast and countryside, she creates original paintings, prints and cards that celebrate hope, resilience, connection and the beauty of the natural world. Following a breast cancer diagnosis in 2025, Carla's work became even more focused on the things that bring joy, comfort and meaning. Her distinctive bird collections combine art, nature and storytelling, using creativity to spark conversations, encourage awareness and help people slow down and appreciate everyday moments. Alongside her artwork, Carla runs popular art workshops throughout Suffolk, helping beginners and experienced artists alike build confidence, explore new techniques and rediscover the joy of creating. Based near Woodbridge, Suffolk, Carla ships artwork throughout the UK and regularly exhibits her work across East Anglia.

The portrait of our puppy Billy is…
The portrait of our puppy Billy is fantastic, it was a birthday gift for my husband and he absolutely loves it! The detail is amazing and it looks just like the photograph I sent to Carla we are delighted with it and would certainly recommend Carla’s work to anyone. She is a very talented artist and a pleasure to deal with from start to finish,her communication is spot on and kept me informed all along until the great reveal,it was such an exciting journey Thankyou Carla! xx

Personal, affordable and definitely memorable!
Carla captured our beloved Polly (‘Fatty’) the rescue cat just right and her eyes are perfect! We were impressed by Carla’s professionalism and attention to detail throughout and she made it such a straightforward process, from initial commissioning to finished portrait. Personal, affordable and definitely memorable, we would not hesitate to recommend Carla and her exceptional talent!

Fabulous pet portraits by Carla Elizabeth Art
Carla is a fabulous artist and I would have no hesitation in recommending her work to others. From my initial request for portraits to receiving the two completed paintings, Carla's communication was outstanding. She selected images from photos I sent her, making sure I was happy with progress at each stage of the process. The final paintings were fabulous and caught my dog and two cats' expressions perfectly! The completed portraits were mailed in good time for me as they were gifts, and the package I received was very well protected with sturdy boards preventing damage and outer packaging securely taped. If you are thinking about a pet portrait from Carla Elizabeth Art, go for it- you won't regret it!

Delighted with my purchase
Delighted with my purchase, and so were the people who received the cards. The service was fantastic, and Carla even personally delivered them. They were in cute little boxes with a bow and even a wax seal. Felt very luxurious. Highly recommend and will definitely re-oreder again if Carla does them again next year.

Dog Potraits
