Great experience, friendly staff. Would suggest messaging/calling the number on WhatsApp when arriving in Corfu airport, so they can pick you up.

Serious, efficient. You can rent with closed eyes

When we arrived we were told we didn’t have a car because someone had punctured the tyre of ours. We could maybe take a different one, but have to stay in for our first night of holiday so he can come and change cars over later that night. He said that another family would need the car they booked. As I explained, we also booked a car and had no intention of wasting a whole night of holiday waiting for a car exchange. He then proceeded to try & scare my husband into extra insurance costs (not needed if you have the correct package)
We then ended up with a smaller automatic car. It was fine but had no navigation or Bluetooth.
When we returned, the woman went straight for an area they knew was scratched but they had left off the damage sheet. This was entirely designed to get more money. Luckily my husband had videoed the car before we left and date stamped it to show the scratch. She knew where to look and it was very set up for a false claim against our damage deposit.

Our flight to Thessaloniki was delayed for two hours, and we arrived really late, well outside of office hours — but the Cargini team waited for us, picked us up promptly, and handled all the paperwork quickly and efficiently. The whole experience was smooth and stress-free. Thank you for the great service — and the price was great too!

My experience in Santorini was perfect.
I received the car in very good conditions, clean.
At the handover everything was excellent and fast.
I strongly recommend.

Si queréis un coche de calidad no escogías este rent a car. Las carreteras de Santorini son casi en su totalidad empinadas y el coche que nos dieron se ahogaba cada vez que se subía una cuesta, hacia ruidos extraños y parecía que en cualquier momento se iba a romper el motor. Fuimos a explicarles la situación y decían que era normal, que al coche le faltaba fuerza en el motor y que no podían cambiarlo por otro del mismo rango, si no que debería ser de una gama más alta por 60 euros más. Lo curioso es que veíamos como las motos pequeñas y smarts más pequeños sí que podían subir las cuestas sin problema.
El último día, al dejarlo fuimos a poner gasolina a la gasolinera más cercana al rent a car, que había 1 minuto de distancia entre los dos puntos. Llenamos el coche y al encenderlo ponía que no estaba lleno. Volvimos a poner gasolina, paró a los 2 euros y los trabajadores de allí nos dijeron que ya estaba lleno que no se podía poner más y que era problema del coche. Al dejarlo, le explicamos al señor la situación y con bastante pasotismo fue a verificar el coche. Y intentando preguntarle si me iban a cobrar algo más, me dijo que no y se marcho. No volveré a alquilar coches con ellos nunca más.

When we arrived at the cephalonia airport , a lady was so rude to welcome us & we wait for more than 1 h to be picked it up with their car & go to the office (far away 10 min ) .
she waited for other guests & we wait outside under the sun for 1h
She told us it was for 10 minutes!! at the end 1h
In the office the lady was nice , all went well with the car

We rented a car on July 5th. As soon as I parked at a nearby restaurant (20 minutes from the rental agency) I noticed that the key didn't work, I had to manually lock the door. We went to Athens and again I had to manually lock the door by inserting the key. When we got back to the car the car was open, so there was something wrong with the lock. I called the agency the next day and the told me to bring it in. They then said that someone had tried to steal the car and they noticed a dent near the door handle. They asked me to pay the full security deposit €600. We were given another car. When we got back on the 12th, they found another minor fault and tried to make me pay my security deposit again, but since I had a video which showed that the fault was already there I didn't have to pay. I think that this is their main way of making money, charging exorbitant amounts for minor dings.

The condition of the car, and the staff in the office were brilliant. They were so helpful, as we did not realise the office was so far away from Kefalonia airport. They ferried us backwards and forwards and were so cheerful about it. I would recommend them, but it is quite far(10-15 min drive) - but that maybe is why they are cheaper.
There were no issues with insurance- all organised beforehand . Thank you

Abbiamo noleggiato con Cargini all'aeroporto di Santorini, prenotando online direttamente dal loro sito con l'opzione di assicurazione massima, che copriva tutto. Noleggio con carta di debito, nessun deposito richiesto. Sono stati gentilissimi e ci hanno fatto un upgrade gratuito da cambio manuale a cambio automatico, opzione molto apprezzata per le strade di Santorini. Siamo arrivati tardi la sera quindi abbiamo pagato un supplemento (già incluso nel prezzo della prenotazione, nessun costo nascosto). Abbiamo riportato la macchina con la stessa quantità di benzina con cui ce l'hanno lasciata, e non ci sono stati problemi per la pulizia dell'auto, nonostante siamo andati in spiaggia. Per me esperienza ottima, ma consiglio fortemente di prenotare direttamente dal loro sito con l'assicurazione massima.

Fast check in and out, no problems, car in good condition

This company are liars and crooks. I collected a car in Malta and was told that we had no insurance at all, which I knew was a lie and that in the event of an accident we had unlimited third party liability. They offered insurance to reduce the deposit of either €40 or €65 plus taxes per day which I refused. I explained that I had a separate policy to cover the excess only to be told that it was useless because they don't give receipts for anything taken to cover damage. Luckily I ignored the Asian gentleman, took the car and confirmed with the company the following day that I did actually have insurance after all. The person I dealt with should be sacked and I will never deal with this company again.

My experience at my Corfu car was brilliant! I couldn’t recommend more. We were picked up from the airport and drove straight to the car. The car was in perfect condition and all the staff were lovely, they made our trip! As a very unorganised person I didn’t have anything planned, but the staff got out a map and pin pointed all the best places the visit on the Island. We were a group of 21 year old girls who had never rented a car before, so obviously went into the process with caution! But our minds were put at waste straight away.

Scam scam scam.

I rented a car with Cargini. Ended up with this scam company at the airport in Sarajevo.

They wanted me to buy the full insurance. When I said no for the 4 time they then told me that my credit card didnt work. It works. I have been using it ever since i got to Sarajevo. They didnt want to give me the car because I didnt want the full insurance. They are total scammers.

have never experienced something like that. I have rented car hire for over 10 years now.
I came to colect the car and purchased the insurance and the insurance purchased was not going to give me any peace of mind. Overall I felt like I was not insured at all. The insurance was just to reduce my deposit. I requested cancelation of it had to pay uber to put me back at airport where I had to re-book another hire paid for insurance as I normal do and all were cover.

THE CAR HAD A SCRATCH ON THE UNDERNEATH OF THE BUMBER THAT WAS NOT VISIBLE ON RETURN. THE BUMPER HAS BEEN NOTED AS HAVING MINOR DAMAGE THEREFORE WE WE'RENT WORRIED. ON ARRIVING THE GIRL WENT DIRECTLY TO THE SCRATCH AND FOLLOWING DISCUSSIONS I WAS CHARGED £312 FOR THE DAMAGE AND ALL THEY SAID YOU'RE FINE YOU'RE INSURED. THE EXPERIENCE WAS SOMEWHAT QUESTIONABLE AND THE AMOUNT CHARGED WAS DISSPROPORTIONATE. HOWEVER NOTHING WE COULD DO AS THEY HAD OUR CREDIT CARD DETAILS. AWFUL EXPERIENCE AND A LESSON LEARNED.

The deposit paid at the time of the lease is disgracefully refunded. In my case, 20 days have passed since the end of the lease, but 600 euros have not been returned to me. I wrote a letter requesting a refund, but the reply from them was: "we have 30 days for a refund." This is the first time I've encountered such an attitude towards other people's money. I do not recommend this rental company for this reason.

Car Gini were exactly what we expected. The staff were friendly and the booking process was simple. Collecting the car was no hassle and our little Citroen C1 suited us fine.

Would happily use again.
