I had the chance to work with Careers in Sport as part of their event team in Birmingham and Leeds, and it was a really enjoyable experience.

What I liked most was the exposure to the sports industry and being able to connect with a wide range of professionals and attendees. The events had a great energy, and everything felt well put together.

On the day, I was involved in things like registrations, helping with setup, and engaging with attendees, which gave me some solid hands-on experience. It definitely helped build my confidence working in a live event environment.

The team was supportive throughout, and communication was clear, which made it easy to understand what needed to be done and just get on with it.

Overall, a really positive experience and a great way to get practical exposure in the sports events space.

The event was very well coordinated and organised. The workshops were extremely valuable - even the talks I didn’t think would relate to me and my career path.
I will continue to attend Careers in Sport events in the future.

Careers in Sport LIVE is a brilliant event that allows people starting out in their career or who would like to pivot into the sports industry an insight into the different roles available. I chose to get the accelerator ticket that allowed me to attend talks and panel events by industry professionals throughout the day. The calibre of speakers was really impressive and I found the conversations filled with helpful information about the industry and advice to help me stand out against other candidates. I highly recommend attending.

A well organised and managed event that adds huge value to participants through workshops, talks and exhibitor stands from highly relevant and respected companies and individuals.

I really enjoyed my time as a panel speaker during the Careers in Sport LIVE event in London. The event was well run and the staff on hand helped to provide a welcoming environment from start to finish. It was really refreshing to see how many of the participants were keen to have an informal chat with me following the session and many more have reached out since. This is the type of event that I wish I'd have attended when navigating my way into the sector. I'd be happy to support again in future.

I’ve had the experience of attending Careers in Sport events at 3 different locations over the last 2 years. Edgbaston, Headingley and Brentford. As well as crossing paths with the team at other industry events.

The consistency in energy and passion for the sport and physical activity sector is a true representation of the people behind the brand.

Good people create good environments for people to flourish. I feel that we are seeing a growing number of young people that are craving opportunities to gain that human connection, experience live expert advice and get to ask questions directly to the people that they aspire to be. Careers in Sport continue to provide these opportunities in abundance.

Best part of the event were the speakers. Everyone was very helpful and wanted to stay in touch beyond the event, which i really appreciate.

I attended the Careers in Sport Event at Gtech Community Stadium in Brentford. It was a great opportunity to connect with a diverse range of sport industry professionals who demonstrated the various career paths and possibilities within sports.

I left feeling motivated and inspired by many speakers, particularly Lorna Falconer, Romina Calatayud and Paul Morrissey. Their invaluable insights and strategies for recent graduates like myself were extremely helpful.

Really well structured day at the Gtec Stadium.

Timings were near perfect in the railway room with no one running over time or late arriving.

What made my experience great was the access to industry professionals through Q&A’s and workshops to gain knowledge of their experiences through sport and how i could implement that in my own journey. Also the way the event was structured was very good allowed the opportunity to attend each talk.

The event was extremely well planned and thoughtful. It was a great mix of different roles within the sporting sector with the guest speakers all engaging and enthusiastic about their role. The careers fair was great for the pupils to get a chance to speak to a variety of university and employers about what they could do when that time comes. A great event which we will be coming back to next year. Many thanks to the whole team for hosting such a wonderful event.

Fantastic opportunity to hear from professionals across the industry, learn about different pathways, and gain practical advice on how to get started in a career in sport. It was incredibly inspiring and provided a great opportunity to have meaningful conversations with people working in the field.

It gave me valuable insight into the different career pathways within sport and the skills needed to succeed. I especially enjoyed the Q&A panels, where asking questions helped me engage with professionals and better understand their experiences.

Overall, it motivated me to continue pursuing a career in the sports industry.

I don’t think I have ever enjoyed myself in a professional setting as much as I did at the Careers in Sport Event! It was fun and engaging whilst building connection's and learning. Would highly recommend attending an event if you’re interested in pursuing a career in sport! Can’t wait for the next one!

I am a university student looking to have a career in sport and this event allowed me to meet so many amazing and successful people in the industry. The day consisted of panel discussions as well as specific workshops which were all amazing

Excellent chance to network with some of the top figures in sport.

Amazing! First time going in as a 19yr old but everyone was very helpful, kind and inspiring! Was able to talk and connect with many people and gain insight regarding their journey and experiences! Definitely recommend to any young person to go to their events!

I had an amazing time connecting with so many different sport professionals that were like-minded and career driven like myself. I created some great relationships that I have carried back to Canada and that I hope will be long-lasting.
