Nick and Dale came to add extra insulation in the loft and install some vents.
They were cheerful, polite, quick and efficient in their work.
I'm very pleased. Lovely bubbly.

Dale and nick who came round today to work on my mother's (Penny) house and sort out her loft where amazing. I would like to thank them for such excellent work and kindness. They did a brilliant job and she is thrilled. They were very professional, experienced and we have nothing but good words to say in regards to their time working on the house.

Ellis Cormack fitted a new boiler and upgraded our old heating and hot water system.
His workmanship is excellent and he was a pleasure to have in the house. Very trustworthy, personable guy.

Head office kept us fully informed of the plans and dates for scaffolding and fitting of panels.
All work was completed on the promised date.
The installation team were very professional, polite, pleasant and considerate and left no mess.
A thoroughly positive experience.

First class job fitting full central heating. Very prompt and tidy work by Ellis Cormack. He also explained very clearly for mum who is 98 how everything works. I would definitely recommend him

I am a 90 years old and highly vulnerable. I suffer from repeated bouts of pneumonia. I am totally disabled and use a lot of electricity to keep warm and clean and to supply my oxygenator at home. I was kindly advised to apply for the Warmer Homes grant by Cornwall Council. Ovo appointed the contactor Carbon Rewind to install solar panels. They were fine to begin with but my son had problems with their transparency and their 'take it or leave it' attitude as the project came to a conclusion. It seems to me that companies like this should be better schooled in how to work with the expectations of vulnerable people on low incomes. The on the ground engineers would say one thing and head office say another. For example head office became very evasive about exactly how many panels would be installed and originally said “five at the most”. Eventually after our insistence, the head electrician Richard came and did a drone survey and noted that the garage was also able to take four panels. He told my son that they could easily fit ten panels altogether, “six on the house and four on the garage”. But later his head office got quite aggressive and told us that “only four” would be fitted in total because of local authority regulations. When my son asked Ovo for clarity they said it was “probably a budgetary thing” and up to the contractor to give us details. On the day of installation they somewhat randomly put six panels on the roof and only two on the garage. What I found frustrating was that their head electrician said he would talk to head office and return “in a few weeks” and bring the extra two panels “at cost” if necessary and do the work for a “few hundred pounds”. Some weeks later after many unanswered phone calls to carbon Rewind my son asked Olivia the coordinator, what the plan was. She said she would “talk to Ovo”. More weeks went by and when my son emailed her again she dismissively tripled the price Richard had quoted and wanted thousands of pounds to add two more panels which actually cost £90 each. Firstly we were never told what the original budget was that Carbon Rewind were working to with Ovo and Cornwall Council. Secondly we were not sure if Carbon Rewind should have been charging for the additional work at all. My son was told that it would have been a mornings extra work at most and very easy to complete. But now the job is too small for any contractor to consider and the prices they quote are simply out of our reach. My energy bills are sky high because of my disability related expenses in electricity and the poor insulation in my house. For me this is a missed opportunity. There is a good reason for me needing to maximize how many panels I have. My bills are so high I only partially heat the house in winter and ration how many showers I have all year round. I really feel that Carbon Rewind and Ovo are totally lacking in transparency in their approach to these corporate responsibly schemes. This is the second time a corporate responsibility scheme has failed me. In 2017 Eon installed a Baxi boiler and connected it to a huge old cylinder. What I really needed was a combi boiler system to reduce my overall hot water costs. I can't use the hot water system now because it costs too much in gas to heat up the entire cylinder. Eons contractor told me that my central heating system was too old to take an upgrade which I later found out to be untrue. Contractors like Carbon Rewind would do better to look at the end users real needs rather than tick boxes just to get the job done and rake in profits.

Olivia and the administration team communicated by telephone and email in a timely efficient and friendly manner, explaining the survey and fitting process in full. They were prompt to answer any queries and easy to talk to on the phone.

The fitting team Dan, Justin and Richard called to inform us they were on the way on the day planned to install the panels and kept us informed regarding the job all the way. They were friendly, approachable, polite and respectful of our property. A full explanation of how the panels work and set up on our mobile devices was an easy process (no IT issues) and info on guarantee etc.

My experience with Carbon Rewind has been a real pleasure. I was kept informed by their office team from start to finish, with fast responses to my questions throughout. They have proved to be very knowledgeable and friendly and efficient to work with and I felt supported as a customer. The Solar Team have been a pleasure to have around, knowledgeable, worked with care on my property, very clean and tidy, kept me informed throughout. They worked long hours, in order to complete the job, under difficult weather conditions here on the Cornish coast. I Couldn’t have wished for a better team and I’m grateful they’ve done such an excellent job.

One of the most professional trades person I have met and also a lovely guy.
He worked solidly for 10hrs and was still smiling and laughing at the end of the day.

After nothing but trouble with this company.
I have just had an independent gas engineer check my heating system as it was not working .
Well it turns out non of the radiators had been connected to the boiler ... hence no heating
bunch of clowns
8 months and still haven't got a useable system
