They got me once, but never again. This company is a sham. They sell expired candy, but don't mention it anywhere on their website. They mandatorily charge you $8 for an ice pack and an insulated bag to ship during the hot months. Candy arrived completely melted and most of it was unusable. The cold system they use is highly inadequate. The worst part is that they don't care. As others have mentioned, their customer service is garbage, just like their candy. Do yourself a favor and buy directly at the store. Maybe you pay more, but you get quality candy in perfect condition. This company is a sham. A class action suit for deception should be brought.

The worst experience! I bought items for a candy buffet at a baby shower and everything arrived melted. I paid extra for the cold packs and their website said shipping would arrive in 2 days. Mine arrived in 5.
Despite sending multiple pictures of melted and deformed candy and screen shots of their own policies, customer service gave me pushback on a resolution. I was told to just place my items in the fridge and they would be fine. They said my candy wasn’t melted because it wasn’t all over the bag. Many pictures showed candy melted all over the bag.
This chat went on for two hours! They acted like they were doing me a favor to give me 20% back from my trash candy.
They finally relented and gave me a refund when I called them. They claimed that they didn’t know their own website said shipping would arrive in 2 days.
I’d pay twice their prices to buy candy anywhere else.

I recently ordered candy from Candy In Bulk for a Fourth of July event and, unfortunately, a number of the Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups arrived melted and deformed despite paying extra for a cold pack. The candy was not in the condition I expected for serving to guests.

Customer service initially offered a 20% refund, which I felt did not adequately address the issue. After additional communication, they increased the refund to 50%, which I accepted. I appreciate that they listened to my concerns, acknowledged my disappointment, and worked toward a better resolution.

My biggest concern was being told that customers who want to minimize heat damage should consider paying for Next Day Shipping. In my opinion, if chocolate is sold during the summer months, the company should ensure that its standard shipping and protective packaging are sufficient without requiring customers to pay a premium to receive the product in acceptable condition.

Overall, I appreciate the professionalism of the customer service representative and the eventual compromise, but I hope the company improves its warm-weather shipping methods so future customers don’t experience the same disappointment.

I ordered Hershey's kisses and they didn't taste like Hershey's kisses. I had a blind taste test and scored 100%. They refused to give me a store credit. they offered me 10% off, but they of no use to me. I don't care if they offered me 90% off.

I have ordered multiple times from this company. Never had an issue I needed to contact customer service about. This last ordered contained chocolate. It arrived as a melty mess. None of it was salvageable. Contacted the company and absolutely NEVER expected the refund process to become a “negotiation of offers”. I will be filing a chargeback with my credit card. They have lost my business forever. Wish I had looked up reviews before I ever ordered. Do NOT shop with them!

DO NOT BUY FROM THESE THIEVES, WISH I HAD READ THESE REVIEWS BEFORE, chocolate all melted, got offered partially refund, sent pictures of the completely melted truffles and the customer service still insisted on a partial refund. Do not buy from these people, the worst customer service 👎👎👎👎👎👎👎

I would have given them great reviews if they hadn't burned me for $18 for an ice pack I didn't approve.

Chocolate arrived heat-damaged; only a partial refund

My wife and I placed separate, identical orders for five-pound bags of Lindt LINDOR oatmilk truffles, and both orders included paid cold-pack protection. Both shipments arrived with the same problem: the chocolates had a whitish, chalky appearance, an unpleasant texture, and an off, stale-tasting flavor.

Candy In Bulk identified the issue as chocolate bloom caused by temperature changes during shipping or storage. While bloomed chocolate may still be considered safe to eat, the texture and flavor were noticeably degraded. The product was not of the quality we expected from Lindt truffles.

The refund process was inconsistent at first. The same representative initially offered my wife a 20% refund and offered me 25% for what appeared to be the same product condition and complaint. After further discussion, both refunds were increased to 50%.

The company later explained that refund percentages are based on the amount of damage visible in the submitted photos and may vary between cases. However, given that these were identical products with essentially the same appearance, texture, and taste problems, the differing initial offers still seemed arbitrary.

Candy In Bulk ultimately issued a 50% refund and said it would work to improve product handling and consistency in its resolution process. I appreciate that they increased the refund, but I do not believe paying half price is an adequate outcome for five pounds of chocolate that arrived with degraded taste and texture—especially when cold-pack protection was purchased.

Customers considering temperature-sensitive products should be aware that the chocolate may arrive bloomed and that the company may provide only a partial refund.

My 5 lbs of lindor chocolate came partially melted AND tasted like mint. I contacted customer service and was given the run around for weeks. I will NEVER order from here again

It took forever to receive my chocolate and nuts. It was all melted 5 lbs in 5 bags they charged me 8 dollars for ice pack that was melted and hot also.
Not a company I would buy from again. I just got scammed.

Never promote CandyInBulk. They revoked my affiliate commissions without a word of explanation—even though I sent numerous emails, I never received a single response.

I purchased 5 lbs of Lindt milk chocolate truffels. The truffels had the normal consistency when eating but completely lacked the normal " feel-good surge to the brain" experience I am used to. In fact after I ate each one, I could hardly remember eating it. Since the bags I received had no expiration or "best use by" dates, I have figured they must be expired product from Lindt that Candyinbulk repackages (without reference to where they are manufactured). I'm sure Lindt requires that the Lindt name NOT be on the packaging save whats on each truffel. I just tossed the entire batch.

Customer Service stinks. The candy has been melted and solidified again. The eggs were oozing peanut butter mush. I sent a pic of my delivery. They told me some of the eggs were edible. I had to take pics to prove them wrong. Awful product. I have nothing nice to say about this "company"
I had to file a complaint with my bank to get my money back.

I ordered 5 LBs of Lindt truffles, which had obvious signs of improper storage like temperature abuse that destroys chocolate quality quickly. There was chocolate bloom and the product tasted rancid, old, and stale. I spoke to customer service and provided photos, but they wouldn't offer a full refund, only up to 25%. When a company is responsible for degrading the product, they should take full responsibility. They said that since it's within best by date, it's fine. However, there were no lot codes, so the best by date couldn't be verified and likely was not accurate. If a company doesn't properly store the product within its require storage conditions, the best by date doesn't mean much.
This is not how you do business!

I will never order from this company again. Despite requesting signature (and this being a confirmed matter by UPS), the package was left at night to freeze over without a signature confirmation. Multiple attempts to contact the company regarding the matter were never followed up. The package literally was declared damaged by UPS during a claims process by UPS. I will now initiate a chargeback and am very, very angry working with them. Order 6118803.

I've read reviews about damaged packages, and delivery to the wrong address. That is a carrier problem, not theirs'. For my first order, the delivery took longer than expected. I called and left a message, and they returned my call as soon as they got beck from vacation. I'd already received my order. Since they sell bulk, they must buy large quantities, and break them down to the size you order. That's why no original packaging I suppose, just like a candy shop that sells by weight. I have been very happy with all my orders, perhaps too much so. I am about to place my fourth order.

Order Hershey Nuggets for Christmas Eve gathering with shipping promised on December 23. UPS delivered the package to the wrong address, picture of delivery has no reference to where it was actually left. No word from company or UPS. Won’t be ordering from them again!

!!!!!Be cautious when ordering in bulk!!!! My experience raised significant hygiene concerns. The bulk chocolates (25 pounds each box) arrived in an unsealed blue bag with no instructions or markings indicating how the box should be opened. When I opened the box from the opposite side, the bag opened and the chocolate fell into the shipping box.

When I contacted customer service, the response was dismissive. I was told I should have assumed where to open the box and that I was the first to complain. I was also assured that the shipping box was “sanitary,” which is concerning, as shipping boxes are exposed to debris during warehouse handling and transit. There was visible debris on top of the chocolate bag upon opening.

Given that this is perishable food, proper sealing and handling should be standard. Due to the lack of secure packaging and the customer service response, I will not be ordering from this company again.

I am waiting for my package to arrive tmmr. 2 days late from what was originally quoted. They pretty much said too bad. No cancelation nothing to make this right. Now reading multiple reviews, I wonder if the candy will be in good shape or even real chocolate from hershey. Disappointed with the service ( lack there of) I don't have hope that the product will be good at all.

I ordered white chocolate melting wafers made with sugar, cocoa, nonfat milk, milkfats, soy lecithin. What I received has sugar, palm kernel oil, whey powder. No cocoa at all. I've written and tried chat. I'll print their response, if I get one.
