I didn’t sign up for a paid service.
I was autos rolled to a premium membership.

Never been asked for any money, account details or card details.

I read as I’m a woman I get the service for free.

Various websites including your own state this.

Contacted CDate as I deactivated my account and they advised the account has been deleted. However, I have now been informed that the site is only free to women is subscribed recently !

I haven’t seen any woman’s reviews in my research.

I need to know if I am being told the truth.

This company is a set up as scam to rip off ppl and harassing me for something I didn't want if money didn't go through is clear I wanted cancel all as I haven't opened the profile was my son and c date didn't even verify me at all so I won't be paying for service that I never used !!!

Fake profiles and they make it impossible to unsubscribe unless you get heavy with these thieves. I had to cancel my bank card which caused me a lot of hassle to stop them plundering my account and threaten them with trading standards before they gave in, albiet begrudgingly.
This is no way to treat people.

Site is full of fake profiles. They also make it nearly impossible to cancel membership and delete profile. After getting in contact to cancel my membership they assured me I would not make any further automatic payments. I have now received an email demanding £39 and a £10 handling fee with threats of legal action if I do not pay. Stat away from this place it is a scam

Signed up for this site and never used it. wanted to cancel but couldn't see and now they're sending me threatening emails from Ecollect to pay £255 and also legal proceedings.
I have asked for usage activities document and they didn't provide.
I have reported this to the appropriate authorities.

I joined on the free first month then ended up paying a fee. After a couple of days believing it was one of those conning websites providing very little except higher costs. I have tried to cancel membership but have found this nigh impossible they suggest link at bottom of their first page yet I couldn't get that page. I have messaged them a couple of times stating I couldn't get the link. I have read a few of the customer reviews and I do not want to continue with this company.

I never signed up to this site and I am now getting threatened by alleged solicitors and asking to pay them over £300 I have in numerous occasions told them I didn’t sign up to any of their site but keep getting these emails they are wanting a police report how can I look into this when I don’t even know the name of the site to report I never and have never signed up to a dating site the distress and upset this is causing with the threats of the emails and harassment is unbelievable I would rather slash my wrist than pay a corrupt company and money I do not owe and b4 you say it’s out of your hands ,it is your corrupt company/site that has started this and probably your hackers that has done many of these from what you can see on the reports from this site

Absolutely awful intimidating and threating email can't believe a company would thing this is actually acceptable. The amount is over 3 times what c-date told me and now they want money paid into a Swiss account???

Unsubscription next to impossible

I took up the free introductory membership out of curiosity, and wasn't interested.

I forgot to unsubscribe until I got a bill.

I then emailed to unsubscribe, and they replied that they would not accept an email subscription; it had to be an attachment to the email containing my name and subscription email address. An absolute farce, considering I'd put that information in the email.

I doubt that this is legal. However I printed the email I had sent to pdf, and sent it to them again as an attachment, as per their requirements.

I have now cancelled the direct debit. I expect they will demand more money, claiming I haver failed to unsubscribe correctly; but I will at least have the emails to prove that I did inform them that I wished to unsubscribe.

Site is full of fakes. Sent email to cancel membership and now writing on here to make sure it is cancelled

I've cancelled my account with c-date and yet your still taking money from my bank how can I stop this what your doing can only be a scam and should be illegal.

Terrible app full of bots. Tried to cancel in app but wouldn't work. T's & C's at the time said that I had to send a fax to cancel. I forgot about it. They subsequently kept taking the premium membership amount of £39.90/month for 7 months from Jan 23 to July 23 and so I asked my bank to cancel my card and issue a new one. That is £279.30 in membership fees for a service I did not use. I have now received a later from 'Themys & Dyke', a solicitors in Essen Germany fr an amount of £309.21 relating to an unpaid membership fee in August 2022! How can I be pursued for an unpaid membership fee in Aug 2022 when I continued to pay C-date until July 23. This is a scam. DO NOT HAVE ANYTHING TO DO WITH THEIR SERVICE

All the matches I came across just tried to sell more coin's, it was like they were there to make you buy token's.
I tried the trial, tried to cancel it but obviously did it wrong, sure they well overcharged me the cost was well over £40 I'm sure
They didn't reply to it.
I refused to pay it
They've just sent me a letter for a summens, I want to know how much they had off me in the 1st place.

I have subscribed for a month long trial in November and requested an cancellation after a week, which was accepted and I cancelled the payment with my bank provider as well.
After that month my account was blocked and I was getting any more notifications or emails.
Until today when I received an email demanding to pay £49.90 for another month while my account was cancelled and blocked.

Trying to say I owe them nearly £50.... Absolute scammers

Purchased 1 month premium and automatically got charged the next month £40. Sent 2 emails of cancellation, filled 2 forms of cancellation on their website and no response. Luckily I’ve used PayPal so I was able to cancel the automatic payment. I’m currently on a dispute with them on PayPal but they still don’t respond . All I’ve got was only automated replies that my cancellation request was received…
I have also deleted my online profile on their website and they replied that they working on it….

I never signed up to this service, my card was used illegally. I reported this to my bank, Action Fraud and the police. My bank has agreed this is fraud and refunded me. I am still receiving threatening letters. My lawyer has told no judge will enforce this based on the evidence and he would be happy to represent us at any court appearence I am going to write to my local MP as this is clearly a criminal organisation trying to use the legal system. However if they do go to court I'll welcome it and make sure the case is followed by a journalist we work with, so this scam can go public.

Stay well away from this scamming company, as you don't realise that there is no cancellation option on your account after you've signed into premium monthly membership. I've emailed them 3 times to cancel my premium membership, but have heard nothing back from them as yet. I've cancelled my pre approved payment for any future payment. Now they can threaten me as much as they like and aren't getting a penny from me, as i have prove of the sent emails to them to cancel it. I honestly don't know how a company can get away with this sort of robbery at this day and age. Scammers Scammers Scammers. Do not sign up with them.
