Scheduled a consultation to get some blinds installed for my parents. The person who came to do the estimate hardly spoke to my parents. He left his card and said he would email us the estimate. I have yet to receive this a few days later. He made my parents feel very uncomfortable and like their business wasn't wanted. Luckily we found someone else who is doing all 5 of the windows. They were kind and gave us an estimate right then and there.

I spent over $20,000 on blinds from Budget Blinds for a vacation home in Lincoln City. The original order and installation went very well. I had some windows that were odd shaped that they did not have blinds for so I spent another $1,000 on just fabric for these windows. They fabric came in and they called me to come pick it up. I went in during business hours and nobody was there. I called and nobody answer the phone so I left. It was about an hour before closing so I assumed they just left early on a Friday. I make it over on Friday after work since I live an hour away. The next time I got off work early and went over and arrive around 1:00. The exact same thing with nobody there and nobody answers the phone and this is four hours before closing time. This happened 3 times! I gave up and called once again to leave a voice mail and asked them if they would just ship me the box of fabric which probably only weighs 10 lbs. Budget Blinds emails me back and tells me they will ship it, but now want another $75 to ship it to me! Are you kidding me? I stop by 3 times during business hours and you are not there and you don’t even answer your phone. I have spent well over $20,000 with this business and then not only do they want me to pay for shipping, they try to rip me off on the shipping charging over $75 on a 10 lb box of fabric. Absolutely unbelievable.

Ironically, the absolutely best service by a company is demonstrated when there is a bit of an error; how they respond at that point tells all there is to know about the company and leaves a lasting impression.
In this vein, Budget Blinds of Albuquerque on Southern Blvd in Rio Rancho exceeds all expectations.
We recently purchased shades for five windows and the experience is one of the most satisfying experiences with a product and services company we have ever had.
Beginning with the first contact at the store, meeting Megan who then introduced us to Tim who then assisted us with a better product than the one we had previously decided on. Tim then came to our house and assured that he had the actual measurements for each window instead of assuming that they should all be the same measurement.
This led to Joe and Turner coming to install the shades. NB: Joe is without a doubt the most responsible (and likable) installer a customer could desire. A small hiccup occurred when Joe was doing the installations.
Responding to the hiccup, owner Matt took over and assured that what we got what we wanted.
Kudos to Marci, also, for her part in assuring the correct solution.
Bottom line, as they say, “stuff happens,” but what happens when that occurs tells the full story about a company, and again that is what leaves the lasting impression with no buts or untils “…. they were really good until ....." or “they were good but .....”
If the ratings went from 1 to 100, instead of the 1-5, we would be rating Budget Blinds of Albuquerque a perfect 100!

Called Peter about new motorized window blinds. He scheduled an appointment to visit our home where he made excellent recommendations that were reasonably priced. Within two weeks he called and booked an important. All the work was excellent quality and we were very pleased with the results. Highly recommended.

I live in NJ and have a rental apartment in DC in need of blinds. I needed a company willing and able to deal with me remotely and coordinate directly with my tenant. I contacted 3 companies in DC. One did not get back to me at all, 2nd said it would get back to me to schedule an appointment, they never did. BB, responded back to me immediately and then contacted my tenant and scheduled an appointment within a day or 2 to meet with my tenant and take measurements and get back to me with recommendations and pricing. I needed blinds for 10 windows, these windows are arranged in a bowed configuration. I put in my 2 cents worth as to the type of blinds I was looking for. Bethany showed up as scheduled, took the measurements and based on my suggestions sent me 3 ridiculously expensive options. I got back to her and told her this was not the TajMahal, it's a rental unit, can you come up with other options. She listened to me and patiently explained the issues with these windows and how my suggestions would not work. She said she would get back to me with other more reasonable and better options. She did that very quickly. We had another conversation or 2 and settled on one of her suggestions. The right blinds at the right price for my requirements. The blinds were ordered, came in on time and were installed today: Tuesday Oct. 21. All in all the experience with BB of Chevy Chase was flawless. The communication between Bethany, Andie, Brian and my tenant and myself were absolutely perfect. Unfortunately, I don't know the name of the installer but he did his part perfectly.
The key in every business transactions is communications, unfortunately that ball is often dropped causing needless problems. The communication here was absolutely perfect. I could not ask for anything more. Every business should operate as well as Budget Blinds Of Chevy Chase.

This company pay spammers per click. I live in UK and am sick of being spammed by companies based in the USA. Boycott this company until they change their marketing methods. Let's all fight spam together.

Customer service is a hallmark of the company. Stephen (sales agent) is helpful, full of ideas, and offers alternatives at multiple price points. Installers are respectful of the property, clean up after themselves and leave the home improved. Quality and service are great. My main complaint is the odd and unusual requirement that every order must be paid in full upon ordering. No down payment, no 50/50, no waiting til installation for final payment. Very customer unfriendly and odd. In similar work environments--painting the home, residing a home, a new concrete driveway, a bathroom remodel, and the list goes on--all require some level of deposit or prepayment. I've seen 20% down, 40%, sometimes even 60% with balance upon completion. I have never ever heard of anyone anytime requiring 100%prepayment, much less for something as inconsequential as windows blinds. Such a policy seems designed to protect the company and exploit the customer. There is no good reason for it, save to protect the company at the expense of the customer. As a courtesy to the friendly and helpful agent who visited my home, I proceeded with my purchase, but I will not do so again. Happy to make a down payment, even 50%, but I won't be using this company again if this policy persists.
The cost is expensive for the quality
The cost is expensive for the quality. We had a damaged blind installed in our bedroom and never heard back from the company when after pictures were sent. The corner of the blind in our room looks like it’s been folded in half.
First class service.
First class service from. Budget Blinds from start to finish. Came and gave a quote when they said they would. Very competitive prices. They delivered and fitted my 3 blinds exactly when they said they would. Very satisfied indeed. Very good quality professional service. 👌
Poor Installation
My blinds were beautiful at first but when one started slanting I discovered the blinds were installed directly into the dry wall with no anchor. No wonder the bracket didn't hold! I got blinds so I could lower and raise them. Not surprising they started coming out of the wall after 3 years. I am not a carpenter but I know you have to use an anchor for the installation if you can't hit a stud.
This company is horrible
This company is horrible. I have a home in San Francisco and had a salesman from Budget Blinds named David come out to discuss new blinds. He came to my place to measure and give me a quote on blinds throughout my property. He claimed parking was too difficult for him (so he says. I think laziness was more the issue). He parked in the loading dock and asked me to come down to show me samples. I did meet him at the loading dock. He had no real samples to show me, didn't have any measurements of my windows and promised to follow up with me the next day. Of course he did not. No call, no email nothing. Very disappointed with this company and this consultant in particular. Don't waste your time and resources on such a unprofessional company and if you do ask to meet with anyone other than David! I wish I had read the reviews on this site. Apparently Budget Blinds has poor ratings.
Lack customer service
Their customer service is horrible. I’ve called 4 times and get a call center , that say someone will contact me, but they don’t. Over and over again
You can’t talk to an actual person who works for this company.
I’d research a different company with good customer service, before using these guys.
