I know it takes a lot of effort when sharing a/the personal challenge/s that, let’s face it, a lot of us have to deal with for some reason or another (and that sometimes we don’t tell anyone or just try and battle on with or just put our head in the sand and ignore) and generally nothing that we’ve self-generated but a health condition that just happens to us!, so it was only right that I made time to write to you on a Saturday morning (instead of helping in the kitchen, organising my children 😂) to say on behalf of ALL involved at Bud & Tender THANK YOU.

Thank you so much indeed for sharing your thoughts, words and how you feel in such a considered way that actually, you might be unaware of this, that you will help many others who are going through what you’ve been through and are dealing and now you are on a very positive, happy route forward.

✳️ - I ‘get it’.
✳️ - We ‘know & understand’
✳️ - I’m very aware of what’s involved and everything that happens.


Some initial thoughts, a BIG well done for:

🌱 your perseverance, as well as well done for using a 30ml bottle so that you give your body’s endocannabinoid tone enough time to recognise the onboarding of plant cannabinoids I.e. CBD - continued supplementation for a month or two.

🌱 Dialling in the serving size (number of milligrams of CBD to take) and the frequency (number of times a day) – it can be tricky.

🌱 The administration of the CBD oil, i.e. holding it under your tongue for long enough - 5 minutes or ideally 9.

HELPFUL CONSIDERATIONS FOR ANYONE ELSE IN THIS POSITION OF BEING FORCED TO MANAGE JOINT PAIN.

1. The Bud & Tender team are here to help as much as we can either by email, on the phone and including scheduled day/time to talk through situations and potential approaches to navigating to a better place.


✳️ There are many factors that need to be taken in to consideration when supplementing with cannabidiol (CBD).

Bud & Tender CBD Oil is a broad-spectrum CBD Oil, 100% natural, free-from artificial flavours, free-from THC (controlled cannabinoid) and has a gorgeous taste.


✳️ Much like your fingerprint is unique to you, your endocannabinoid tone is also unique to you and supplementing your body’s endocannabinoid system (ECS) i.e. topping up endocannabinoids (produced naturally by the body) with plant cannabinoids (i.e. cannabinoids from the C sativa L. plant and one of the main cannabinoids being CBD for example) is a great way to try and achieve homeostasis – the balancing of the body.

✳️ With so factors that come in to play when trying to achieve homeostasis and primarily the starting position is the ‘why’, what is the reason, the need to supplement these are some of the other important factors that need to be taking in to consideration when supplementing and determining, testing serving size and frequency:

🌱 age
🌱 weight
🌱 gender
🌱 metabolism
🌱 genetics
🌱 nutrition (diet)
🌱 physical fitness
🌱 mental health
🌱 environmental factors.
🌱 serving size e.g. number of milligrams of CBD per serving
🌱 frequency e.g. once a day, 3 days a time, on demand
🌱 duration e.g. days, weeks, months
🌱 the program, e.g. number of milligrams of CBD at each serving and number of servings e.g. test then build up to a balanced endocannabinoid tone reducing to a low and infrequent serving (all depends on the original reason as to why someone is taking CBD)
🌱 the administration of the CBD Oil (i.e. taking it under your tongue and length of time holding it under the tongue). It is really important that the CBD Oil is held under the tongue for as long as possible, ideally up to 10 minutes. Our CBD Oil does taste nice and no artificial flavours have been used to achieve this so holding the CBD oil under the tongue should be easy, it's just a matter of keeping it there 🙂 this will really help as it allows the CBD Oil to soak into the bloodstream through the soft tissues under the tongue rather than going down in to the stomach.

✳️ No human body’s endocannabinoid tone is the same so it can take a bit of testing to find the right serving size and frequency of CBD oil that’s right for your body - and we are here every step of the way with you on that journey.

A couple of tips, which I’m sure you might already know 🙂

🌱 Serving size (the amount of CBD you want or your body needs), all depends on the reason why you are supplementing with CBD oil.

🌱 Frequency; again rests a lot on the above

🌱 Keep a note, diary of when and how much you supplemented with

🌱 Keep the CBD oil under your tongue as long as you can; ideally +5 minutes

🌱 Try not to have a drink or something to eat afterwards and ideally allow 30 minutes before doing so because to get the maximum benefit (bang for your buck on what you’ve spent) you really want all those residual plant cannabinoids, the micro CBD oil compounds (which contain the CBD, other minor cannabinoids, terpenoids and flavonoids) left in your mouth to continue to soak in to the soft mucosal tissues within the mouth.
