DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY, THE CLOTHING IS INFERIOR AND RETURNS ARE NOT AS EASY AS PUBLISHED ON THE WEBSITE. THEY NEGOTIATED REFUNDS AND THE MOST THEY OFFER IS A PARTIAL 25%. FOR A FULL REFUND THE ITEM NEEDS TO BE RETURNED TO CHINA AT YOUR EXPENSE WHICH COULD BE MORE THAN THE ITEM IS WORTH THIS INFORMATION WAS NOT DISCLOSED.

Husband got a $150 "coat" that was little more than a bedsheet lightly stitched together. Pretty much the worst quality item I've ever received. Absolutely no way to return it - no email confirmation, no address, phone number... nothing. DO NOT PURCHASE FROM THEM.

I received a completely different item that is not at all what was in the picture. It's cheap and came directly from China. I'm disputing the charge as they won't give me a full refund unless I return it to China. Don't waist your money. Fraud company

My wife received an Instagram advertisement for a beautiful looking coat from this company. I googled them and it looked like a legit American company with a shop in NY. So, I ordered the coat and received a tracking number where it's coming from China. If you ever heard of 17 Track well that is a tracking site for oversea orders. It's coming from China and there is no telling when I will get it and no telling the size or quality. Please, review this company before you order like I should have. I'm SO MAD at myself for not doing that like I normally do when ordering from online companies. I called my bank to try to cancel the order and they said their billing comes out the Netherlands and I can't get my money back until I get the coat and look at it. Based on previous experiences like this, the quality will be horrible and returning it will be nearly impossible (if they even reply to my request). All my fears are listed below in other reviews. Very bad quality. Misleading description. Overpriced. Don’t.

This company should be avoided at all costs. Although they present as an "American" company, it is a company based in China, and for all intents and purposes you really cannot return anything you buy since you will have to pay the shipping costs. Also the sizing of the coat I ordered was way off. They talk a lot about their customer service commitment, but it's BS. Only buy something if you are positive it will fit, that the quality will be good, and that you will want to keep it and that you want to support a company that is full of it.

I ordered and received a coat that was not sewn properly, fit weird. So I contacted them to return, they never responded. I looked as to the rules to return the item it said that it had to be return to China with no address. Since the coat was wearable, I donated it.

If I could give less than one star I would. The product I received looked nothing like the coat advertised. When I tried to return they told me to ship at my own expense to China, which would have cost half of what I paid for the item. And then they could still refuse the return. It’s a scam.

The item received was cheap and looked nothing like the picture. I asked to send it back and they said they would give me 10% off to keep it and I said no then they said I would have to pay to send it back to China for a refund. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY IT'S A SCAM AND THE QUALITY IS AWFUL

Brooklyn-outfitters is a con. They mislead people with their false advertisement. What they advertise and what you get are two totally different things. They will offer you a refund of 20% of the total cost but you have to pay for the return shipping. Do not buy from this company.

They send you a CHEAP Chinese made facsimile of what they show and advertise on their website!! Not at all what is shown!! Then when you try to return, they offer you only 10% of what you payed!!! STAY AWAY!!!!

Do not buy from this company. The items are cheap, inferior. For example, the zippers do not work properly.

Avoid! Don't be fooled by this clothing retailer. Horrible experience with a coat that was unwearable due to its poor construction! They will not give you a full refund. To send it back you must send it back to China and pay $25. I am still in dispute with the payment with my credit card company.

Complete scam .. ordered a wool blazer which took over a month…and when it finally showed up . It’s felt with no liner , horrible stitching , uneven. It like the material used for disposable tablecloths Wrong size.It looks as though a 3 year old made it as an art project. I got burned.

I was under the impression. This was a US base company as noted on website. I thought I was going to receive a suede fitted blazer little did I expect it was drop-ship from China so it took forever to get here. Once received, it was nothing like the photograph. It was defective. It was not suede, it wasn’t even suede like. The liner was so big and sewn in poorly that it came out the sleeves twisted the back and also came out the back. I contacted them to let them know the product was defective and how to return it and that’s when I had the same sad song as everybody else - they offered me a 10% discount I kept arguing with them the discount went up to 35%, I paid $140 for a blazer what I received isn’t even worth $25. I’ve now contacted my payment method. I’m not spending money to return this to China and not even be guaranteed a refund and they also asked me to lie to customs about what I paid for it. I’m not lying to customs! Don’t believe their website when they say easy and hassle free returns or believe that this is an American base company. It is not.

Agree with most others here. This is cheap knock off stuff from China. Jackets are not tailored like the photo, simply square cut. They are not warm enough for the weather in Brooklyn. Complete waste of money.

SCAM! This is JUNK! No where near what the item was described as! Cheap materials, poorly constructed, flimsy. I asked for full return and was offered20% refund if I kept the jacket, or full refund if I payed the costly return to China, but I had no way to guarantee it would ever make it there. I took my 20% refund, learned my lesson, and put this jacket down as a cage liner for my pet rabbits.
Don’t get scammed!

If I can use negative 5 as my experience I would. Absolutely dishonest company with cheap looking products which absolutely different from description on website. Every word about product and delivery time and service just lies . If you want to save your time, money and mental health please stay away from this company. I never had disappointment like this before.

My experience with this company was extremely disappointing. I find their business practices to be dishonest and deceptive, and their communications consistently failed to deliver on customer service. I would strongly caution anyone considering using your company—there are far more reputable and transparent businesses I'd rather deal with. Their website says American family business which led me to believe the item was manufactured and shipped from US which was not the case. The item RIGHT ON THE SALE PAGE said 100% refundable. The item took 2 weeks to receive from Yanwen, China, not 3-7 business days via UPS from USA as stated on your website.

Very disappointed.
