This is formal written notice that I am canceling Order #545290067, effective immediately and before any carrier assignment or dispatch.

I do not authorize Brightway Logistics LLC to charge my card or collect any additional payment, fee, balance, cancellation charge, or other amount under this order.

Please do not assign a carrier, dispatch my vehicle, or take any further action related to this transport. Please confirm in writing that the order has been fully canceled, no carrier has been assigned, and no further amount is due from me.

If Brightway Logistics attempts to charge me any additional amount or proceeds with this order after receiving this notice, I will immediately dispute the charge with my card issuer and file complaints with the Florida Attorney General’s Consumer Protection Division and the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration.

I reserve all rights and remedies available to me under Florida consumer-protection law.

IF I could give a grade of a negative star I absolutely would! Save your time AND MONEY and use another company. Several times since the beginning of August Jacob Miller at Brightway said he was "working" confirming a pickup and delivery for my trailer and car. Each time I reached out to him over the month's period it was the same story. "Don't worry, the order is still live and we're actively working on securing a suitable carrier". I reitrated several times the critical time table and the fact that I would be leaving the area immediately after pickup to fly to the destination city. It came down to only 2 days before the drop dead date and he STILL did not have a suitable carrier AND the one be leisurely proposed as suitable was close to 3 1/2 time higher than the original "estimate"! Of course by then he went in to his fast talk act pushing to get things booked immediately. I gave him an immedite NO WAY and moved on to his "supervisor" Brian. Same action from him. The organization and business model is shamelessly crooked. I now have to fight tooth and nail to get back the $500 deposit. Make no mistake I will prevail. Final suggestion to all reading this, learn from my awful experience, take your business anywhere else but Brightway!

Scheduled a pick up of my 2020 Can am spyder to be shipped to SD 9 months prior to the ship date. I got one excuse after another why they couldn't find a carrier because of fuel prices and tolls .
Total cost was $1185 round trip. Then they told me the drivers wanted $2500 each way!! DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!! Still haven't received my deposit back after having to find another company to ship my bike.

This is the Great company, I'm working with them more then 5 years and They are Great.

**🚨 BEWARE — My Experience With This Car Transport Broker 🚨**

I strongly recommend that people **DO NOT use this company for vehicle transportation**. My experience was extremely frustrating, and I feel the way this transaction was handled was intentionally misleading.

I was initially given a quote of **$965**, which I accepted, and I paid a deposit. We agreed on a pickup date. The broker even sent me a copy of the driver’s license and a picture of the truck that was supposedly going to pick up my vehicle. I specifically asked whether the vehicle was ready for pickup on the agreed-upon date, and I was assured that everything was scheduled.

Then, on the day the vehicle was supposed to be picked up, I was suddenly told that we had agreed to a pickup the following week. This was not my understanding of the agreement.

The vehicle was ultimately not picked up until **four days later**. By that point, I was told that there were no drivers available and that the price would be **more than double the original $965 quote**. At that point, I had already lost valuable time and was put in a position where I had very limited options.

What makes this even more concerning is that I later learned the broker’s fee was an extremely large portion of what I was charged—nearly the amount of the original $900+ quote. The situation became even worse when the driver had to contact the broker because **the driver had not been paid the portion of the transportation fee that the broker had collected**. We had to get involved and call the broker so that the driver would release the vehicle.

In my opinion, this was not simply a case of a carrier becoming unavailable. The way the situation unfolded left me feeling that the low initial quote was used to get my business, followed by delays, changing explanations, and substantially higher charges once I was already committed and had limited alternatives.

**My advice: DO NOT use a broker without thoroughly researching exactly what they charge and what portion of your payment actually goes to the carrier.** If I had to do this again, I would contact vehicle carriers directly rather than use a broker.

I am sharing this experience so others can make an informed decision before trusting this company with their vehicle and their money.

****Follow-up information**********

Even though Brightway Logistics agreed to pay the carrier the balance owed to release my vehicle, the carrier notified me the following day that Brightway withheld his payment on the condition that I remove my review. This retaliatory behavior is why I am reposting it today.
