I've held my licence for over 30yrs and have NCD of over a decade. I'm also I'm an advanced driver and have a tracker with a subscription service fitted to my vehicle and these clowns can't provide a quote and give no reason as to why. Absolute joke!

Since submitting my Trustpilot review I have had a response from Brentacre and it is this they reference in their response to the review. I have increased my rating from 1 to 3 starts and changed the title from non-existent to limited customer service because Emily did respond relatively quickly albeit not quick enough because my review had already been submitted.

I remain dissatisfied with their inability to provide a quote. It is akin to a sub-prime lender refusing to grant a loan to a person with an excellent credit history. i.e. It makes very little sense.

I acknowledge that Brentacre are the brokers and not the ultimate insurers. That said, I received details of the types of reasons a quote might not be given. This is of limited use to me as I would need too know exactly why I have been declined a quote so if it is because I have just bought the car, that should be cited as THE reason, if it is because the car is not modified at the moment then tell me that, if it is something else then again tell me. Make your feedback specific to me and my application so that you ensure you treat your customer fairly

I have used Brentacre for all of my car and vans for many years and I'll continue to do so. The ease of dealing with staff when delivering or altering modifications is fantastic along with very competitive pricing. Thanks for the great service and many years of comfort I'm insured with the best.

Was with Brentacre for 6 years and they consistently gave me the cheapest price for insurance. In that time I had 2 claims, 1 where my car was written off. However, this year they couldn't offer renewal due to me making a claim in 2025 for a replacement key on the key cover I had. Made me laugh because I had 2 car claims but they draw the line at a car key claim. I understand the insurers have criteria etc. However, Brentacre didn't even bother to offer any alternative or try and get another quote and basically said look elsewhere.

First time getting Campervan insurance and after a recommendation to try Brentacre I put in a quote request. They followed up very quickly and everything was very clear - I dealt with several people there and each time they were super friendly, polite and helpful. Started cover with Brentacre. Nice to speak over the phone with an experienced insurer. Premium reduced from the previous insurer with the same amount of cover.

Extremely happy with my experience with Brentacre. I spoke to Ben, who was helpful, friendly and knowledgeable. The quote was also considerably better than my existing insurer. It was made clear what additional paperwork needed to be submitted and again Brentacre were helpful with this.

Fantastic service from start to finish. They are reasonable and very understanding on modified cars and the whole process is seamless with no stress. The usual insurance companies on comparison sites have no clue about modified cars and their risk assessment is absolutely ridiculous and we end up paying through the roof, but Bentacre understands the market and the industry very well to be able to offer fantastic services at reasonable premiums.
