On a Thursday booked a carpet cleaner online for that weekend, payment accepted. Went to collect it as arranged on the Friday - didn't have one available! Come back Monday! Cancelled it, was told it was all handled by the Manchester office and they hadn't checked availability. I would get an email and a refund. No email. Contacted HSS, got one within an hour. Waited a week, no refund. Had to chase Brandon for the refund.

Punctual delivery and collection, with kind delivery men. Equipment was maintained to a high standard, and had no issues. Would recommend.

Hired a floor sander and edge sander both excellent products and easy to use,the staff were very helpful and informative...would definitely recommend
Great service, price and assistance when our equipment couldn’t fit in our van just a great company
I booked two platforms well in advance, they never showed up on the delivery day. I kept calling and getting a different story from each person, each time telling me they would call me back but never did. The platforms eventually arrived in the afternoon on the 2nd day. 4hours later than I was told which meant I paid 4 staff to stand around for a day and a half. When I spoke to Brandon hire at Leamington Spa they were border line rude and not even apologetic about the whole matter. A week before the platform collection I called up to extend the hire. They told me to phone head office, I extended the hire and paid for it. On the original collection day they decided to come and collect and we had to explain we had extended the hire. All I can say is that the price was competitive.

Easy to deal with and good service. Not so hot on collection though, i had to hang on to the equipment and keep it safe for longer than the rental period.
Supplied 6 trestles of the correct size and 2 a lot smaller and unusable for the job I wanted. trestles were in a poor state of repair and very wobbly.

Once I figured out how to book online the process was super easy. Very friendlyand helpful people working at the branch and clear communication by email.
Wednesday I call to Coventry branch and want order rotovator for the weekend. I want deliver this to my allotment Saturday morning. Over the phone they said I can’t pay over the phone. I said I did this last year. They said it’s impossible. So I asked if I can come Saturday morning 8am and pay and do paperwork and then you deliver this to my allotment They said yes. I said so please keep this slot for me until Saturday. They said ok. Today (Friday) I call them for double check if they remember. This is answer: I don’t care what somebody said to you two days ago. We fully booked now. If you want you can pay now and borrow this next weekend. They said I can pay over the phone. So you pay now or I hang up the phone. But for some reason I can’t pay two days earlier. That’s why coventry branch have bad reviews.

Really straight forward ordering online. Very helpful, friendly staff on collection.
Turf cutter hired on Saturday 25th February 2023.
Supposed to be delivered sat am but didn’t arrive. Called branch to be told on its way. An hour later went out to car to find it had just been left between car and garage where it wasn’t visible from the inside of the house.
Instructions were useless and video guide was more of a sales pitch. The machine was supposed to be self propelled but could barely be moved even though three different people tried including my 18 year old son. Ended up giving up as couldn’t move it all. Of course by the time we realised it had been dropped off office had closed so no support there. Was due to be collected on the Monday morning but by 3:30 no one had collected it. Called office that afternoon and was told would call back. By Tuesday at 4pm no call back and machine still not collected. Finally collected on Wednesday about an hour after they said it would be.
