Bought a used car from them today and found them very pleasant and helpful. The car was a good price and very well presented. They did some cosmetic work to the car like new alloys and colour coded the badges and made it look very nice. Family business which is nice.

We bought a Citroen C3 and were very happy with the service provided by Mark who pulled out all the stops to cater to us. Would highly recommend him to cater for your needs.

Mark sold us a 110 defender for £53,000. It was advertised at 31,000 miles but when we collected it it actually had 36,000 miles on the clock but he said this was a genuine mistake and there was nothing he can do we went ahead and took the car still.

4 months later the car suffered catastrophic engine failure so I contacted mark regarding the warranty which he said was the best warranty available and fully covered us for 6 months.

This wasn’t true and actually the maximum payout for the warranty was £2,000. We have since been quoted over £20,000 for a new engine to be fitted.

I offered mark to ether take the car back for a refund or to repair the car and give it back to us but he is refusing to do ether and said
“take me to court”

I would stay well clear from this garage as they will not help you if anything goes wrong and the so called warranty is a load of rubbish.

We will be taking him and the garage to court and considering we are protected but the consumer rights act 2015 we will end up winning.

But if you are thinking of buying a high end car from this garage I would think again.

Amazing service from start to finish! I recently traded in my old SEAT for a Golf, and the whole process was smooth, straightforward, and hassle-free. Mark was incredibly helpful throughout and made everything quick and easy. Highly recommend!

Had been looking around for a new EV and one of the ones looked at was a Subaru Solterra at Braidwood Motor Co, Livingston.
Spoke to Mark initially on the phone then went to see the vehicle in person. The car itself was absolutely immaculate, went for a nice test drive and did the deal. The car was prepared for my picking it up 2 days later. I have been running around in it for a week now and I've had no issues at all. Sold with the balance of the the manufacturers warranty which gives peace of mind too.
Definitely would consider returning when this one needs replaced.

Brought a Renault Kadjar. Was well presented, clean inside and out. Mark showed me all around the car. First time I have had to use electric handbrake, didn't know how it worked, Mark kindly explained how to use it. He also helped to tax the car. Explained all the paperwork. Very attentive, would use again.

Bought a 2019 Mercedes C63 from Mark, part exchanged my C300 for it. All done remotely over 250 miles away over email/phone. Mark was super helpful and easy to deal with, the whole exchange was simple. Handover took only 30 minutes and we were on our way, the car was as described online so very pleased.

Also got Platinum warranty cover, MOT and a brand new set of tyres all round.

Found car on auto trader and spoke to Mark who described how it was.....I was somewhat sceptical because it was such low miles for its age. My son lived closer to me and he went to inspect it and reported back to me.....was very near a oil and filter service.....spoke to Mark and he said he would do.....which he did at a cost of just over £300.00. I picked car up and drove home.....drives lovely, a real pleasure ......thankyou Mark you have been honest and upfront , keep up the good work.

Bought a E63s from Mark, honest salesman and car was spot on. Would go back and buy from here anytime. Car looked even better in person perfect condition just as he described. Travelled up from Devon so was relying on the car being as was described and was even better.

Saw Skoda Yeti with low mileage and traveled down from Aberdeenshire, picked up at station by Mark. Sorted out out everything, new ownership, road tax,new MOT and gold standard warranty. Brilliant service. I'd certainly use them again to buy another car.

Braidwood has a fantastic range of cars. I found the one I wanted on Autotrader, called for more info and paid a returnable deposit. Mark kindly offered to put a fresh MOT on the car, even though it wasn’t due for 7 months, and paid for some significant work to be done for my peace of mind. Braidwood Motors is almost 400 miles away from me, but I was able to book a cheap flight and they collected me from Edinburgh airport. It was easy! Nothing was too much trouble and there was no pressure at all while I looked over the car. Needless to say, I’m delighted with the car which was just as described in the advert.

Picked up my car today, service has been great, mark is very down to earth and likeable, really good communication, I would absolutely recommend, will update about the car in due course, but so far so good!

Mark was incredibly reassuring and friendly so we drove a 6 hour round trip to purchase what appeared to be an immaculate mini countryman cooper s from this garage and had problems instantly. The battery died within the first week and the advisories on the MOT certificate were much more significant and I have no idea how it passed. The clutch pipe was in such a bad state I was advised it needed replacing immediately- Spent hundreds on these repairs because the full warranty that I was reassured would cover any problems, didn’t. Still had problems with the brakes which cost another £600+ to repair, then a few weeks later the passenger door handle broke trapping my 90 year old grandma in the car. More repairs, then a few weeks later the engine management light came on and the car needed an oxygen sensor, and was dropping in power. Replaced this and not even 3 weeks later the alternator died suddenly leaving me broken down in the middle of a busy roundabout. £700 to repair this. THEN my air con broke! I’m not even bothering to fix it, waste of time at this point.
Literally one problem after another from point of purchase. Absolutely heap of shit, not worth £1000 let alone the almost £13,000 I spent on it. My 20 year old banger cars were better than this.
