I would strongly advise against using Boo.

After signing up on Boo, you’re asked to enter your email to receive a login link. While this seems simple, it means they collect your email before you even understand how the platform works.

The platform itself has very few active users, and a significant number appear to be fake. I even matched twice with profiles using AI-generated images just to test how quickly they could be exposed—it was amusing, but not worth it.

What’s more concerning is that I was charged ₹1,552 from my bank account without clear authorization. It appears I was unknowingly signed up for a monthly subscription just by trying out the service.

Overall, the experience felt misleading and not worth the cost.

Ragazzi spero che adiate a leggere prima le recensioni, non abbonatevi a questa app è inutile piena di scam che cercano di portare la conversazione fuori dal app poi ti bloccano cosi da non segnalare il profilo. Inoltre con l'abbonamento avrete poca roba in piu, per altri like devi spendere soldi ... Insomma! L'assistenza non esiste, app piena di problemi

I'm writing this review because i know i won't get anywhere trying to contact Boo directly. This isn't actually such a bad dating sight, if you are interested in connecting with people globally and not just locally. The price is very reasonable compared to other sites and the feature matching you (or not) with different personality types is an interesting and functional addition. The thing that is REALLY getting on my nerves is the HUNDREDS of fake, A.I. generated, female profiles :-(
They are pretty much ALWAYS Asian women with strange, lifeless eyes and there is always just one photo... Seriously, just STOP IT ok ??
Do you really think your members are that STUPID ??
You are RUINING an otherwise good site with this rubbish and i am close to cancelling my account because of it :-/

L’app non funziona , dopo aver pagato l’abbonamento rimane in verifica profilo per cui non puoi fare nulla !. Una truffa

I would definitely not recommend Boo.

If you go to Boo.world and you provide your email address, you get a link to log in. This seems easy but they already have your email address before you know how it is inside.

Furthermore there are only few members, and half of them are fakes. I had had two matches on purpose with a person using AI generated pictures to see how fast I could unmask them. That was fun but was it enough fun for Boo to take 15,52 from my bank account unauthorised? Or at least sneaky - I did not realise I had - apparently - a monthly subscription after i wanted to try out the site.

Abonnement présenté comme « MPs illimités », mais en réalité l’envoi de messages est bloqué derrière un système de « cœurs » payants. Après avoir payé 25,99 € pour 3 mois, j’ai découvert qu’il fallait acheter des cœurs supplémentaires ou un forfait cœurs illimités (~85 €) pour pouvoir réellement écrire — pratique commerciale trompeuse et frais cachés. Le descriptif commercial ne précise pas ces limitations, ce qui rend l’offre non conforme à ce qui est vendu. J’ai obtenu un remboursement via Apple, mais je signale ce comportement pour prévenir d’autres consommateurs.

Es ist kompliziert und schwierig. Zum einen funktioniert die Verifizierung nicht. 20 Versuche gestartet. Da steht z.B.: "Richte Dein Gesicht an den beiden Punkten aus". Und egal, ob die stehen oder hüpfen, das Gesicht genau im Rahmen ist und der Rahmen dann grün wird: Er wird einfach kein Foto gemacht. Irgendwann hat sich die App einfach aufgehängt.
Nachdem ich mein Profil ausgefüllt habe und ein Herzchen versenden will, kommt immer die Nachricht: "updaten für 200 Euro."
Beim nächsten Öffnen sollte ich anklicken: Profil erhalten oder zurücksetzen, während "zurücksetzen" auf grün war als Empfehlung. Was soll das?
Dann wird damit beworben: Für Künstler. Und es gibt zwei Boos im App Store, einmal die alte und einmal die neue Bezeichnung Boo Künstler.
Die angezeigten Profile hatten aber rein gar nichts damit zu tun.
Absolute Täuschung und Irreführung. Zudem gibt es Abkürzungen, die man als Präferenz im Profil angeben kann, die ich erst googlen musste.
Die App ist absolut wertlos.
Und wenn ich diese Geister sehe, denke ich ans Ghosten. Und genau fühlt es sich auch an. Es passiert rein gar nichts und ist furchtbar kompliziert und intransparent.

Besser als die Klassiker …. Aber leider scheinen die Leute von da rüber zu wandern und ruinieren damit das Konzept

Boo si candida come "alternativa profonda" rispetto ad altre dating app... essendo realmente la stessa m***a ma con un piatto differente.
Persone introspettive, profonde, non performative e non esibizioniste sono esattamente quelle che l'app nei suoi intenti dichiara di voler aiutare, salvo poi schiacciarle nella realtà del funzionamento, identico ad altre.
Se ti va bene, vieni contattato da 4-5 bot dall'altra parte del mondo (nonostante i filtri che, evidentemente non funzionano e dovrebbero mostrarti solo risultati della tua stessa nazione).
Beato chi veramente ha avuto un'esperienza positiva... ammesso che sia reale.
Stateci alla larga, magari c'è di meglio.
(E sì, sono stato addirittura così scemo da pagare il premium aspettandomi risultati diversi)

I joined this site 3 years ago and it was plain awful back then, absolute crap.

Back then my first message was from a female scammer from Malaysia and was hinting about airfares etc and Boo hoo her b.s life!

Anyway forward 3 years later and I kid you not, I was dumb enough to listen to idiots and try Boo again!

Big mistake, the first message I got just like 3 years ago was from a female from Malaysia once again hinting of being broke, her family health blah blah.

I thought No way not again, what are the odds?

So I've paid $31 for a dead site that tries to be like Facebook and is far from it.

No one ever views your profile, messages never get returned and the female dating pool in my area is so pathetic.

It's like 5 members total and are all ethier rude by ghosting, or they just don't get on the app anymore or it's just a static AI profile, ethier way I'm messaging brick walls.

You can't tell how long ago members have been online, the whole thing is clunky and obsolete and plain lifeless and extremely boring.

It's a total rubbish app and if anyone thinks they'll find a date on this site is in for a rude awakening.

Avoid like the plague and spend your money at Cafe's because at least you'll get something out of it and maybe get a date with a waitress.

Honestly the odds are better doing that then to pour your money into a shameless cash grab meanwhile judging yourself thinking you've lost it and women don't think you're good anymore.

These apps are dangerous for mental health because they cause self loathing, negative thoughts, frustration, financial loss and a general feeling of self doubt and hated.

AI is destroying dating sites and the human condition has been manipulated by greedy corporate companies that exploit lonely hearts and create empty pockets and lonely frustrated minds.

In my view good dating sites no longer exist just look at how POF is exploiting members now, if that sites gone to shit then they all have.

Sono dei ladri mi hanno rubato 83 € senza neanche aver aperto l'app mi è arrivata un email da Paypal che diceva che avevo sottoscritto un abbonamento, ladri li denuncio e vediamo come va a finire non scaricate questa app fatta da ladri professionisti

Trattasi di una delle tante app truffa che girano in rete. Dopo avervi fatto perdere dai 20 ai 30 minuti per completare dati, descrizioni e sondaggi vari, inserimento tag, foto e compagnia bella, si scopre, come tuttavia mi aspettavo data l'esperienza, che se vuoi interagire devi pagare un abbonamento! Se non lo fai iniziano a inviarti una sfilza di messaggi fake da presunte pretendenti non meglio identificate ma chiaramente inesistenti!! Truffa vecchia di decenni, da quando esistono le app e i sedicenti siti per incontri a pagamento! Solo i neofiti della rete e i più sprovveduti potrebbero cadere in un simile tranello! Fra l'altro sembra di capire che gli iscritti reali a quest'app siano quattro gatti. Diffidate!!!

Prendere il servizio Boo Infinity è una truffa. Ho acquistato questo servizio del valore di 26 euro a 9 euro ed è stato molto deludente. Ho inviato quasi 800 like e 400 messaggi e ho matchato solo con 14 donne di cui solo una italiana, tutto il resto erano straniere e vivevano a oltre 2000 km da me. Ho chiesto il rimborso ma questo non è mai arrivato, nonostante nella mail asserivano che fosse stato effettuato.
