Is the third trip with Bonaca Tour this June. The location where we have arrived were actually Paradis. Every where we went, the crew bring us come back in very well saffety. And enjoy was arround us every time

I have just returned from another superb multi day boat tour with Bonaca! The weather stayed nice so we were able to visit numerous places off the bucket list! The planning of the tour was smooth due to great communication with the owner! The crew was brilliant and took care of us throughout the 5 days trip! We have seen an array of secluded beaches, military bunkers, jewel old towns, gorgeous waters,places we've never seen, places we'll loved to return to!
The boat provided to us ran smoothy, very comfortable, had fridge with water and drinks, toilet and huge storage for our big luggages!
I can't wait to start planning next tour!

Excellent tour company. They went out of there way to figure out the best day for us to cruise/boating. You are getting a great all around experience with very helpful tour guides. The owner of Bonaca Tours went with us. We took the “should I swim or should I drink” tour. You will have a great time!! Also taught one of our friends how to swim better in open waters.

We just got off a private tour for 14 people with Bonaca Tours. We wanted to visit the town of Vis and see some of the Mamma Mia movie locations. We had a beautiful day out in the water and at Vis Town. The crew was great and customized the trip to our needs. Highly recommend and would love to do it again!

Highly recommend! We did a private tour with Bonaca Tours and we had a group of 9 people. The skipper Anri was so friendly and fun and let us customize the tour based on what we wanted to see and do. This day was definitely the highlight of our trip! The boat is beautiful and we didn’t want the day to end. We even saw dolphins! If you’re looking to have an amazing day on a boat in Split, then book this company!

In August 2019 my girlfriend and I had a wonderful Blue Cave and Island hopping boat tour with Duje and his staff. This trip was the best decision we made and have talked about it for the past few years. We wanted to share this experience with our friends and family, so this lead us to having a destination wedding in Croatia.

I reached out to Duje in October 2021 and his response was immediate. From October to June 2022 he was able to answer any of my questions, as well as, provide more than just the Island Hopping Boating experience.

Throughout our Wedding Week (2019 Girlfriend is now 2022 Wife) Duje provided us with many other services at top notch quality and took so much stress off of our backs. Duje is personable and an excellent communicator all while doing whatever he can to make our trip everything we wanted it to be.

We spent a week with all of our friends and family in Primosten, Croatia in which Duje provided taxis to and from the airport, taxis to and from Split, bus tour of Krka Waterfalls with excellent family style wine tasting and not to mention an unforgettable customized Island Hopping Boat Tour complete with excellent beaches, caves, restaurants and sunsets.

Duje we cannot thank you and your staff enough! Every form of transportation was excellent quality and very clean/well kept. All of your staff was as excited as we were and accommodated are guests very well. Our wedding week went so well and your company had a huge part of that.

Duje and the team at Bonaca Tours went out of their way to help us plan an absolutely magical private boat tour. Can’t recommend them enough, they were excellent!

O passeio de barco com esta companhia constituiu o melhor dia que tive em Split. O barco levava apenas 9 pessoas (+ 2 tripulação), o que permitiu apanhar sol e desfrutar do passeio. Os locais escolhidos e a sequência do passeio faz com que não encontremos multidões. Nada a haver com os outros barcos que vi, que na maioria fazem todos o mesmo percurso e em barcos enormes cheios. Por fim, Matej foi um óptimo capitão, sempre sem pressa e a adaptar ao que o grupo queria. Até parou para vermos os golfinhos. Não costumo fazer comentários, mas neste caso achei que valia bem a pena. Recomendo 😊

We had a great day with Matej and Ivan. They were superb guides, took us to some great spots and were clearly very experienced, skilled sailors with excellent knowledge of the local waters. They made the whole family feel at ease. Their recommendation for a late lunch in Trogir was one of our best meals on our holiday, with a great view of the old town. Thanks Team Bonaca!

I am a returning client! I have booked for this year a multi-day private tour, which delivered as promised, an amazing experience! The custom made trip included well known places as well as some hidden/less known bays, military tunnels, little gem towns and natural parks! We even saw some dolphins! It was so nice to see them swimming in front of the boat! Really great experience!
The boat was supplied with cold water and soft drinks and beer for the duration of the tour
The communication with the team was excellend during the planning and the happening of the tour!
Duje, Matej and Ivan made us feel comfortable and safe even when the weather tried to play up!

Wonderful trip with Ivan and Matej! They were both amazing and we loved every moment of our trip! We got to see The Blue Lagoon, Ship Wreck and Trojir and they were so helpful and made it a great day! They had a wonderful playlist too which made it even better! Thank you!

The guys were nice, but they recommended us lunch in a place we didn’t like. The food was not good and down the street we noticed there was a much nicer restaurant with sea views, and they didn’t even mention this to us. We had to wait for the restaurant to open and they clearly come often to the restaurant as they were very friendly with the owners, possibly getting some money (cannot confirm) by taking us there which is very common in tourism, and I had one of the worst meals ever there. It left an overall bad feeling about their recommendations and service, and that they were not giving us the best experience they could. Clearly, mentioning the restaurant with amazing view closeby would have been in our best interest..

We took a private tour 6 of us , in mid June 2022.

The communication from Duje was very good and responsive. We reached a quick agreement on the broad outline of our day. Clear instructions on where to meet, which again was great.

The day itself was generally very good, Matej and Ivan looked after us on the boat and they were knowledgeable and flexible in the days itinerary. They both have a lot of knowledge about Croatia and the Islands and we had some fun conversations learning about the Island history and Croatia in general.

We were able to modify the itinerary at will and we arrived back at Trogir at 7:30pm having been on the boat since 7:25 am. I think Matej and Ivan would have been happy to carryon for another hour had we wanted too !

The boat is very nice , fast and comfortable, much better than the tightly packed Rib style boats that dominate the island waters.

Be prepared for a 90 min plus wait for the blue cave tour. There are fast track tickets available but unfortunately not via Bonaca so you will have to wait in line.

There was plenty of water and beer included in the trip , the water being most welcome during the hot day.

Bonaca recommended restaurant sampjer in Maslinica in the island of Solte. We had to wait for nearly an hour in Maslinica before we could eat as the restaurant doesn’t open until 3pm. That said it’s a very good fish restaurant with a great view over the bay , although it is top end budget wise. If we had known about the wait beforehand we would have chosen another restaurant. There are are several in the harbour area of Maslinica, which in itself is a pretty little town.

Later in the trip we were lucky enough to see dolphins swimming near the boat and so Matej Circled them to ensure a great view.

Overall this was a super and long day out.

We booked a private tour for a bachelorette day with Bonaca Tours. The organization could not have been better. Duje was quick and professional in communication. All our wishes were implemented and the organization did not promise us too much. We had a wonderful day on the sea. The two skippers from his crew were funny and pleasant. We could not have asked for more for this day and I can recommend this organization to anyone. Thank you very much!

Duje gave us a great experience, we hired two speed boats for island hopping and he took us to amazing hidden caves with amazing swimming spots, and took us to nice place for local lunch, couldn’t ask for more, if you are in a visit to split Duje is your guys, he is very knowledgable and will make sure you have the best time 💯

We booked a private full day tour. Given the experience and length of the time we spent (10 hours) this is a very affordable option for a far better, more intimate and authentic experience than the other tours you'll see as you peruse options.

What differentiated this from the rest?

--Private - during Covid this helped my friend and I feel safer. It was also nice to chat with Duje in the days leading up to the tour to create an itinerary that matched what we desired to see.

--Duje delivers Four Season level service and communications. He responds to messages quickly, and has a joie de vivre that's contagious. I did a boat tour with one of the other operations in Split (one that had hundreds of great reviews) and they were not nearly as professional and fun to be around.

--Duje's skipper / 2nd in command has a degree in History, so he was able to give us detailed historical information about the sites we visited. I feel like I learned a lot. His enthusiastic descriptions and stories were really interesting.

--His boats are new and clean and more fuel efficient so you end up spending less on fuel out of pocket.

--He listens and aims to please. If you tell him you're not interested in the usual tourist spots and want to have an authentic / off the beaten path experience - he will create an itinerary for you that matches that. I can't stress enough how high-end his service skills are. This isn't one of those big fake pirate ships you see in the marina...it's a boutique, luxury, private experience.

--The places he took us in Brac and Solta were divine.

--Duje even helped us find restaurants during our stay...and connected us with other boat tour operators in Dubrovnik for our time down there. Everywhere he sent us we were treated like VIPs because Duje has a great reputation in the local community. It doesn't surprise me, given his kind hearted and fun personality. Bringing joy to people through his company seems to deeply fulfill him. I did other tours throughout my two weeks in Croatia, and this was #1.

I will be sending my friends and family to Bonaca Experience and Duje when they visit Split.

The BEST experience. Very professional yet extremely friendly captain and crew. The owner Duje was great at communicating. Based on what you want to do let him suggest the best day for you with his vast knowledge of the area. He even set us up with dinner reservations at a local restaurant that was our best meal in Split. Can’t recommend this company enough!!
