Over the years, Boma has evolved into one of London's most enjoyable and attractive independent garden centres. The place is like a paradisal oasis in the heart of its Kentish Town urban locale. Boma specialises in a massive and diverse range of houseplants and outdoor plants. It is also renowned for its fabulous range of handmade plant pots, planters, plant care products and gardening essentials. What sets Boma apart is the team of obsessive horticulturists running the place. But it's much more than the team and products. It's also about the community, which plays an integral part in the Boma's daily life. Since the launch of Boma's new webshop in 2021, demand for plants has taken off nationwide throughout the UK. Even more so since orders over £50 are shipping free of charge. Customers most enjoy the warm reception from the team and practical advice and tips that make gardening and plant care much more fun.

Absolutely terrific
Absolutely terrific. I had a huge soil order that needed delivery to co-incide with some help to shift it. Not only was Kim in the office willing and able to help co-ordinate it but the guys arrived on time and we were able to shift it all in good time. Couldn't be happier. Many thanks.

Above and beyond
Ovi, who delivered for us, went above and beyond taking the heavy bags down to the basement level. Really kind and appreciated. Always very happy with deliveries from Boma. Maybe it’s being a local company that makes them care that little bit more.

We are sorry to read that you did not receive your order, placed on 30 September 2024, which was marked as despatched, delivered, and completed.
We have checked our records and did not receive any further orders or communication from you until, yesterday, 16 December 2025, at which point we offered you a refund.
As this is the first time the issue was brought to our attention in over 14 months, we had no indication that there had been a delivery problem and were therefore unable to address it earlier.
We wish you well, and a happier shopping experience in the future.

A fine tree and good service
This relates to a Fraser Fir which had been ordered for delivery on 17 December. With plans disrupted by builders and visitors, I telephoned Boma and requested delivery of the tree a week earlier. They were able to accommodate me and the tree, with its powerful fragrance, stands glittering in the front room.
Boma can be praised on two counts. Firstly, that they were able to alter their Christmas schedule and make a delivery that suited me. Secondly, having chosen the same type of tree for several years, the one delivered today is the best so far, bushy and smelly.

Disappointing - dont gaslight me
So, I have ordered and received a Xmas tree for several years from BOMA and the service has always been exemplary. This year it wasn't. I called to get an ETA - thanks, within thirty minutes. I was at home the whole time, and then I got a call from BOMA saying 'the driver had tried the bell and to get in touch' and no answer, and then left the tree on our doorstep. This was clearly BS. I was at home, and the bell never rang. If it HAD rung, I would have asked him to bring the tree to our basement door, as in previous years. I dont mind that folks are busy, but dont gaslight me and tell me you were 'trying to get in touch' when you didnt - at all.

During an exceptionally high-pressure delivery window that day, our driver mistakenly rang the wrong bell in your building and, believing he had no response, left the tree safely at your doorstep. This has been addressed directly with him to ensure greater care in future.
We fully accept how frustrating this must have felt, especially given your past experiences with our service, and we sincerely apologise for the inconvenience and the distress this caused. It is never our intention to misrepresent events, and we are sorry that this situation left you feeling otherwise.
