Body Kun Dolls 

It’s been 8 months and I haven’t received my order yet, I keep getting messages from a (probably) fake customer service rep giving me various excuses as to why my package STILL hasn’t arrived. I wasted $110.00 on my items, and the worst thing is that I can’t get a refund because I bought them using a prepaid credit card.... DO NOT BUY FROM BODY KUN.

DO NOT BUY!!! Fake product, liars, they are always answering the same BS. I’ve been asking for a refund or a replacement for more than 3 months. They always say sorry... it’s pure BS

Wish I had read these review before had. Got scammed from body-kun.com 100% certain I am not recieving a product and if I do it will be a crappy knock-off. Supposedly package has been “en route to dhl” for 6 days. What a joke. Can’t believe I wasted my money on this.

Ordered one of these after seeing several ads on Pinterest. It was not cheap at a whopping $50. I did not do research before this purchase and sincerely wish I had. The figure arrived a few weeks after ordering and I was disappointed to discover that it was very difficult to pose. The hand models provided with the figure did not fit properly on the ball joint at the wrist, so I am only able to use a handful of the hand models ... well, at least I *was* until the ball joint completely snapped off. (It's actually easier to pose the hands by sticking it to the forearm with a ball of modeling clay, anyway, so maybe that's a good thing ...?)

I reached out to customer support as directed by their website ... however, when I attempted to call the number listed, I was greeted with a generic recorded response saying "a corporation" was unreachable ... A CORPORATION! They couldn't even be bothered to state their full name in the recording!

I had luck after a few days of trying to get in touch with them via email about my broken figure ... to which they said they needed a video of the defect. Which is fine, but most email applications do not allow a video to be sent if it's over a certain size, which equates to LESS THAN 10 SECONDS ... I was told I'd be sent a new figure to replace the old one, but that was three weeks ago and I'm not hopeful.

I'm probably going to ask for my money back but I'm not hopeful about that either.

DON'T MAKE THE SAME MISTAKE I DID. If you really want one of these figures, do yourself a favor and look for a legitimate one. They're not cheap, but are waaaay better quality.

The items are broken in all places, joints pop out on first usage, joints are to lose or fused together.
Company will ask for video evidence, even than you can get a replacement with the same issues, the company will offer you a discount for other websites and products before that tho... After allot of back and fort , they offered 20% money back, or i can send the item back with a full refund.
But they will not cover the shipping cost!
Which is 50% of the total item cost...
Still not a real solution for my problems.
A genuine company with genuine products will give you better solutions faster.

I would recommend not to buy them, the product is really poor , the customer service is a pain. It will leave you empty handed with a price tag for air.

I just bought an item here last night then emailed them immediately for cancellation. My question is will your credit card info be stolen? I'm worried that they might steal it. For the people who purchased there products did they attempt using your credit card?

Steer clear. It's a scam.

1. After finding out it could take 2-3 weeks just for the item to ship, I wrote in to cancel the order. Sneakily enough, before replying to me, they shipped the order very suddenly the next day, and then wrote in the day after that to say "oops, we shipped your order, so we can't cancel it, sorry!"

2. After a week in shipping, updates completely freeze. I contact the post once the expected delivery date came and went 2 weeks later, and after investigating for another week, I called the post again, only to find out that while a FLAT of items had been scanned at one point, my individual purchase was not. The tracking number I was provided was some random number that has not had an update since about 4 weeks ago.

3. I write an email to tell them that my post has told me to contact the shipper to put in a missing parcel claim. It goes unanswered for several days. So I jump onto FB. There, I'm given several robotic replies and eventually a robotic message that basically says, "No worries, your parcel is on its way to you!" even though it was, by this time, almost 3 weeks overdue.

4. Eventually a human comes on, tells me to disregard that message, and to contact my post for WRITTEN PROOF from the post that my parcel is missing. ABSOLUTE GARBAGE lol. That's not my job. I paid for the product and for the shipping and have already spent wayyyy too much time on the phone dealing with postal issues. This should be on them to find the parcel, not me! A business would take this into their hands. A scam, however, could care less.

5. I tell the person that the post isn't going to give me written proof of anything and that they've flagged their end of the shipping and that it's on them to investigate it. I get a robotic "sorry, that's out of our hands. Have you tried writing an email?" Not surprisingly, I get another robotic message the same day...and it is yet another copy-paste robot message happily stating that my product is on its way to me and will be delivered to me exactly...3 weeks ago.

By this time I've already found video reviews of what people have received, when the company cared enough to ship their garbage properly. We're talking products in plain white boxes with a little tape on the side and absolute trash knock-offs. Most of your amazon purchases WILL be cheapish knock-offs, but these ones are baaaaaad.

SO. Avoid the headache and the garbage and stay as far away as possible. Buy the actual thing, which range at around $200, or go to Amazon and get a cheapish $25-30 item, through a company or seller that isn't a total scam.

I haven't received the products and they don't give a reason for the delay in delivering what I have bought.

They sell fake body kun and body chan. shipped from China!! Id advise buying from bigbadtoystore instead as they are USA based. I dont think they sell body kun but they still sell figures some are great for drawing.

Stay away.

I emailed them again and again, tracking with both 17Track and DHL and they had processed electronically about my order I placed it 3 weeks ago. I messaged DHL and they said they never received the order, and messaged back to the franchise and they said they SHIPPED IT! No they didn't - because I checked back on my tracking number now after over 3 weeks and the tracking number has been clearly omitted from the system because it came up with NO RESULTS. I emailed them again and obviously waiting stupidly for some unhelpful reply such as "Your item is currently processed and in transit!" How am I supposed to believe that when the tracking number don't even work, and the order has not even been shipped?

They are just liars.

Do NOT order Body Kun or Body Chan figures from this website. The product they sell is a bootlegged knockoff version of the real thing. I've ordered the real version from a verified retailer and will be posting a youtube video to add to the many ones that I should have researched before buying these.

I ordered two (male and female) and was originally told 14-28 days shipping. The next day I received a ship confirmation but the package didn’t move. I thought it might have yo do with it coming from Canada as sometimes tracking doesn’t activate until it crosses the border. At 28 days I emailed them and they told me another week. Then the tracking was disabled. After another week I emailed again and after three days the year told me it was backordered for another week or so. Really frustrated and disappointed that they pretty much lied to me for six weeks and then tried to make up for it by offering a 10% discount off my next purchase. Why would I purchase from a company that can’t fulfill its orders and then lied about it for weeks?

I ordered this product and received my DHL tracking fairly quickly. However, the status never changed. I waited 21 days before reaching out. A rep named Gianna, who was very terrible, confirmed my package was lost and asked for me to give it 3 days for it to show up.

How could a lost package show up? Therefore, I requested they sent me one priority shipping.

Then the reason changed to they are waiting on a new shipment and could not verify a date when the shipment would arrive or when they would ship, again.

I finally requested a refund and they refused. This is what they told me:

"We apologize, unfortunately your reshipment is currently being processed and we are unable to to cancel at this point. If you are no longer interested in this item, you may refuse the delivery and have the unopened package sent back to us. Once we can confirm this has been done via the tracking information we will be able to issue a refund."

Again, just giving vague reasoning to keep my money. At this point I have to report this fraudulent activity to my bank and get the money refunded to me. I will NEVER come close to this company or anybody associated with it.

Just stick with the wood models for now until a reputable company arises that can delver this product.

UPDATE:
It has been over 5 weeks now and still nothing. In fact, they stopped replying to my email altogether. I had to dispute the charge with my bank so at least I received my money back.

I was only familiar with these drawing figures insofar as I'd heard them constantly praised by other artists, so when I wanted to get one for myself I typed "Body Kun" into Google and this was the top site that came up. I checked it out, and it looked like it was exactly what I was looking for.

When I got my order in the mail it was suspicious. The box was not the box I'd seen advertised. And the figure inside was very cheaply made. There is no way in hell that THIS was the figure that everyone was always praising. Every time I touched it I felt like I would break it. Some joints were stiff, some were loose, some didn't move at all, and the range of motion was laughable for the kind of figure it was supposed to be.

I looked into their return policy, and I'm afraid to even try to return it now. They want the customer to pay for shipping (unacceptable), then they need to inspect the product to determine if they'll even allow you to return it (dubious) and they specifically state that "[they] don’t guarantee that [they] will receive your returned item." Absolutely ludicrous!

So they're basically saying that by even attempting to return the product...

a) The customer has to pay more money to ship it back.
b) They claim plausible deniability that they will receive it.
c) They claim the right to deny your refund if they want to.

So... How do we report them to the FTC or the BBB, or someone who can shut them down for these terrible business practices. I want a refund + shipping.

It really seems like maybe an attempt was made, but when half of the hands are difficult to even change out, and the part of the stand that connects to the base is a circle, and the hole in the base is a hexagon... They don't even fit? I might be able to get past it if it weren't for that one, awful mistake.
That's about when I realized they weren't even trying.

I ordered a figure from body Kun after playing with one that someone else had. It is definitely the best figure I've ever seen for drawing. Unfortunately after wasting time and more money to receive one of my own, what I was sent was broken and incapable of articulating in any way like the product is described. I was extremely disappointed as I was tracking the package every minute and I found that it was actually quite cheap and regretful. I left a review on their website and I think that they decided not to post it so I am now here

Absolutely terrible! Thank heavens I used PayPal to order so I know my order was protected and I'll get my money back. I ordered over three weeks ago and the DHL ecommerce tracking center said they had never received the package to ship out. There is no phone number, and you only get an email autoresponder than never follows through with their claims. I will find a different product and will definitely not use this company again! So sad that I have to explain to my daughter what she won't be getting for her birthday! Shame on You!

No customer service or contact available. You can send an email but there is no response a week later. You get an instant reply message via Facebook if you try to reach them. Tried to cancel an order & no response.

I bought a male and female model.

I opened the female model first and I was extremely disappointed.
I didn't have any desire to open the male one because it no longer appealed to me.

The quality of the models did not meet my expectations. Extremely low quality. The doll felt cheap and not well-made. It turns out it is made in China. I did not remember seeing it posted on the website (sugarandcotton.com). If I knew or read it, I wouldn't have bought it
for that reason alone.

The plastic feels very cheap and flimsy. The body structure and joints were poorly made. The joint between the hand and lower arm kept falling off when I tried attaching a different hand.

Attaching a new hand took too many tries before it even clung for dear life. And before I was able to attach it, the joint kept falling off. And this was just for 1 kind of hand on the left hand of the female model. I stopped there. My patience was already tested with that 1 hand.

Plus, I am too scared to find out if all the other hands will fit or not. Because I spent so much for it :(

Then comes the stand or model holder. Not only does it not stand firmly on the plastic base, it doesn't hold up the doll at all. The doll just keeps sliding off or refuses to stay in place. Not to mention, the joints of the stand keep sliding down, wouldn't stay up and in place either. What good is a stand if it won't even stand?

Then the peripherals, specifically the laptop. The cover wouldn't attach to the keyboard. Again, because of the cheap plastic material.

I definitely feel cheated and I feel bad for anyone else who will buy this product. The price is quite expensive given what you will get - some parts may even be damaged. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PRODUCT. Do not waste your money on this. All the reviews are telling the truth.

Extremely low quality product—I'd have been better off buying a GI Joe figurine and drawing from that; pretty much the same tiny size as a GI Joe, and at least a GI Joe wouldn't break as easily. I bought this "doll" to use daily and place in all kinds of positions to sketch, but it is so hollow and fragile I'm scared to move it into positions—which is its entire purpose. Changing the hands is a complete joke: pulling it carefully to swap the hands it came with for one of the extra pairs provided, the tiny piece of plastic that holds the hand and the arm pieces together broke immediately. This product should be available to purchase at dollar stores with all the other made in China junk that's built with no care whatsoever about product or human integrity. I paid 40 USD literally for garbage; broken before I can even use it once for sketching. Never purchasing from this company again and am offended they aim their marketing at artists. They are wasting people's time and money and should be ashamed at what they choose to put out in the world.
