Just received my letter of renewal in the letterbox from these scammers!
I thought it was suss when I read "this is not a letter from ASIC. OBR is a private business registration service provider". I thought to myself, why would I need to register with anyone other than ASIC? Stupid people have even asked me to renew my registration only 5 months into me registering my business!
Don't pay this, its a scam

Scam don't do it . Thank God I reread the whole letter. I wish I could report them somehow.

SCAM! Received a letter in the mail stating its time to review my business on the register. SCAM!

Scam, go to asic and save yourself a lot of money.

Third party looking to profit from looking like a legitimate renewal notice. You will get a renewal notice on ASIC letterhead/email address (ending .gov.au)
Don't pay $99 for a one year registration when it is only $35 through ASIC. If you have paid, contact ASIC and get them to re-assign business name to your registry key.

This company worded the letter that I'm required to renew my company registration. I paid the renewal. And within 3 mins found it is weird without receiving an immediate receipt. So I went online and found there are few beware notices on this company. I went back to ask for a refund and they indicated no refund based on terms and condition. They indicated they had paused my request to proceed further, but no refund! Interestingly, the letter they sent me has no terms and conditions as well; just payment details. Google yourself to view few beware notices

Absolute scam, how can there be so many bad reviews and they still operate?
All is not lost though, a look-up of thier
ABN: 36 618 716 019 reveals a dozen or so businesses and stupidly enough if you are going to mess with other peoples money the registered addresses of thier businesses are right there for one to write down, then visit and politely ask for a refund.
Addresses in Sydney, Lennox Head and Victoria are on ASIC for the businesses on this ABN. Just like they looked you up, you can look them up and visit thier business address!

Received renewal letter we thought was legit, paid it and got a nondescript invoice that raised alarm bells. Realised we were completely ripped off. On the phone to the bank now. AVOID THIS SCAMMER

Nearly paid the invoice until I bothered to read the rubbish. No idea what they offer but they try to pretend to be the ASIC. Needs to be shutdown - complete scam.

Scam be aware and never give away you credit card details

They have just got me yesterday.I paid $99 for 1 year and I was wonder why not for 3 ??? The same day I've got a letter from another company,which call self '' Registry'' from Melbourne. This is the same sort of ''friends'' who wants to get your money.Today morning,when my bank just opened, I was first there.Payment was still pending so bank stopped it and blocked my card.I'm glad that those people will not get my money.The real ASIC site must be like ''asic.gov.au''. Any way if you hesitate with letter which you received, just go self to ASIC site and pay there.

SCAM. Go directly to ASIC to see if your business name needs to be re-registered. Where this service costs around $35, this scam invoice is for $99. If you pay it in error, you can claim it back as a scam from you financial institution.

Just a scam. Use ASIC's website.

Rcvd the offer letter to renew my Business Registration from this company. Read the letter thoroughly & became a little suspicious & then checked them out ! Unbelievable ! As people have said they are Scamming Scum.

How did they get my ABN & does ASSIC or the relevant authorities know about these people ?

As others have mentioned this is a well known scam. They will either send email or a letter to the business registration owner. Do not renew your business name. Check with ASICS only. Search for "Scams targeting ASIC customers" in Google for mor einfomraiton. This entire business is a scam and you place your business at risk. PS: It's also cheaper to renew your business name directly from ASICS.

If you got this as an email, it would already have been deleted as SPAM. So, why are you wasting your time with a printed letter, it's no more real than the scam emails. Anyone that has traveled to the USA and applied for a VISA will find similar companies that process your application ... with a fee ... this company is doing the same thing. I suspect however they are also collecting more data on you! Throw it in the bin or use it to start your BBQ.

Scam, Rip off.. Why is the average score for these people 1.5 starts when every review is one star? Whats up with that TrustPilot??

Sophisticated scam - cost us $99 which the bank never refunded. Stay well clear.
