It was OK, but too many shed choices, but unable compare with similar items.

How many times- I should have read the reviews first! Totally agree that this website is easy to use. Well that’s about the only thing they have got right by the look of it. Expected BM to be at least half decent on delivery. I will send a second review with the goods finally arrive. But don’t hold your breath, it’s at least 4 weeks/ which must mean they are just now sending someone out to cut the tree to make my panels. I was more or less told that I should know about the delivery lead times when ordering because it is clear on the website! That’s apparently what they regard as good customer service.

Terrible company to deal with. I ordered a shed selected delivery on 7th June, received order confirmation for 7th June. Shed did not arrive, telephoned this morning asking when will be delivered and was told it is in the planning stage and they couldn’t/wouldn’t do anything.

They do not have sheds in stock, they buy from Forest Garden Sheds (the company that actually owns B&M Garden Buildings).

Their customer service is non existent, they tell you that everything is clearly listed on their website and it is not.

This borders on fraudulent transactions when they offer you delivery on a Saturday when they do not deliver on weekends and will not chase up the delivery- They will deliver this to me when they feel like it but I need to give 5 days notice for holidays.

Do yourself a favour and buy from a reputable company

I was able to find the size I required quickly. They do offer you shed bases, but I did find one cheaper with excellent reviews for nearly half the price on amazon! That said this is the best price shed I have found for this brand.

I went to my local B&M store in Middleton Leeds and saw just what I needed at a competitive price. Measuring my vehicle it was evident it wasn't going to fit. I decided to look up the product on the website and ordered 7 fence panels with next working day delivery. My receipt arrived and payment taken promptly with the next working day delivery confirmation.
I had ordered on a Saturday so was expecting a call on Monday to give delivery details.
I heard nothing so gave them a call.
It was explained that the order was placed today (Monday) so the delivery would be tomorrow. Fair enough I thought.
Nothing arrived Tues so called again
This time a young lady informed me that it was a 3rd party carrier and I needed to call them. Unfortunately as I had been given no tracking number had to call the carrier who said they had no knowledge of my order.
Somewhat frustrated I called B&M garden building supplies back again who said that the supplier maybe hadn't processed the order or was waiting to add it to further orders and felt sure it would arrive tomorrow (Weds).
Feeling deflated, as I had taken time off to be available to accept the delivery and build the fence. I once again waited eagerly for my goods to arrive on Thursday.
Still no confirmation of delivery or email or text from the carrier at late morning on Thursday I called B&M Garden Buildings yet again and spoke to a very helpful gentleman called Darryl. He listened and concluded that he felt that I had been let down and would make enquiries to get to the bottom of the matter. Bless him, he did ring me back and confirmed that the carrier had the hoods and would be delivering it today. He could offer no explanation as to why I hadn't been sent a text or email to impart this valuable information but I felt comfortable in the knowledge that I would be fence building on my 4th day of taking time off work. As it stands it is now 4pm on Thursday afternoon I have waited in again all day and have very little faith that the goods will arrive. I fully understand that problems arise and mistakes happen so have given everyone the benefit of the doubt.
Unfortunately my patience has now completely disappeared and results in this poor review. It takes very little to pick up a phone and communicate! B&M Garden buildings your customer service is non existent and I hope that they are able to rectify this awful situation. By contrast I ordered a greenhouse from a well known Chinese supplier only last week and after multiple notifications and messages I had a text from the carrier this morning to say it has arrived in the UK and will be delivered tomorrow.

Easy to navigate website. Product was the cheapest out of 8 other websites, plus a 10% discount with code. Was able to spread cost usinge PayPal. Win Win!

Asked to review after ordering but decided to wait until received the forest outside bar 6x3ft. Easy to order, good communication throughout, delivered within scheduled date and time.
Went together well, instructions could have been better, 1 small metal bracket missing but my husband managed to make one instead of waiting. The item looks good quality and sturdy, happy and relieved as noted the mixed reviews on quality. We had a great experience and item as described.

Good British materials and British production at fair value.
Good delivery timescale and well presented online with clear and simple payment process too.

Delivered late when ordered it was estimated 5-10 days it took 4 weeks. I was worried it was a fake website but it did eventually arrive. In lots of pieces that are not clearly marked so when correlating it with the instructions it’s very hard. YOU MUST PREDRILL HOLES! I learnt that early on or the panels don’t go together. Upon closer inspection there are holes in the panels and rusty nails sticking out and the wood itself is splintered and different coloured doors. I wish I had done better research I’ve had to pay out more money to rectify their faults so in hindsight I should have paid more for a better quality.

The first time buying from B&M no problems buying or paying for my order

Wasn’t sure if this was a genuine site, didn’t come across secure. No padlock on top of screen couldn’t find any reviews so rang number provided to confirm whether legit or fake.

Very easy website to use and purchase was simple plenty of choice for delivery dates

UPDATE 15/07/2025
After upwards of 20 emails, this company changed their tack from 'No refund as the shed had been assembled' to an offer of 10%discount to keep the shed. I refused and they finally agreed to a full refund, providing I disassemble the shed first. I explained my situation, and ghe further cost this would entail, but they weren't interested. Eventually I got someone to disassemble it, at further cost. I have now been assured, last week, that the refund is being processed. Let's wait and see.

INITIAL REVIEW
Total rubbish service and product. I bought a Forest 4life 10x6 shed. It was delivered on 12th May.
It was erected it on 14th May by a qualified joiner. It is awful. Flimsy, warped panels, 2 split panels, over 50 knot holes, some pieces didn't fit. Called them immediately and was asked to send photos. Sent over 15 photos showing the sun shining through the holes, and the reply was basically rubbish I was told things "wood is a natural produc, warps will settle with weathering, no mention of the splits, and I should buy wood-filler to fill the holes!" I did not pay £550 to buy a fixer-upper! I was initially told I should have checked all the panels first, at 70 years old I couldn't even pick them up! I trusted a large firm to supply what they advertised. I have told them it is not acceptable as it doesn't comply with consumer regulations, and they responded saying that as it has been erected I am deemed as accepting it! It has not been used to store anything and I reported the fault on day one!
I am now on my 15th email to them!

Easy to use the web site

The product is good, seems sturdy and quite easy to put together. Delivery was not good, 4 hours late! Please don't give a time slot if it is not going to be kept to. No apology for the lateness and no update other than having to track the delivery. Ended up waiting in for ages on a bank holiday which we would have happily gone out and got back for when it was delivered at 6.30 in the evening.

Absolute rubbish. Shed
delivered without hinges, so unable to attach the door. Been emailing and ringing customer services... Noone helping, instead I'm past from pillar to post... Ridiculous service. Wish I had not purchased the forest shed. Very flimsy, doubt it will last long... No door hung so open to elements! Do not buy!!
