Disappointing support from a premium brand
I bought a BMC Twostroke 01 Five in November and have been seriously disappointed. As soon as the season started this spring, I noticed the seatpost kept slipping or twisting – even with carbon paste, proper installation, and torque applied within the recommended range.
I contacted BMC support multiple times, sent videos and photos, and followed all instructions. After weeks of waiting, they eventually offered a frame replacement – but only starting in July, and only in a color that doesn’t even match the model I originally bought.
Until then, the bike is basically unusable for me. I bought it to race this summer, but now I’m stuck waiting months for a fix. This is not what I expected from a brand with BMC’s reputation.
