Issue resolved with great customer service
Was using the Metro for a few years before the umbrella broke in a gust of wind. Was not crazy windy and definitely within the limits of what Blunt say the umbrella can withstand.
Up to that point, the umbrella had served me well living in a windy city.
I contacted Blunt about the issue and asked for a repair. They said they didn't have repair centres in the UK any longer and offered a 30% discount to buy another one.
I didn't feel that was a good resolution considering my umbrella broke, so they offered a free replacement. Communicating with them was easy and always got fast replies. Happy with the customer service in the end.
Decent but not worth price
I've been using my Metro for a year and a half and whilst it has served me decently well I can definitively say that it was not worth the money. The mechanism is definitely better than a cheap umbrella but ultimately it still gets blown inside out by any strong-ish wind. The blunt ends are a good idea but doesn't really affect use day to day. Overall I can't say this is a bad product, but for £75 it is not worth it over a cheap umbrella.
Also had a sightly odd experience of their website not allowing me to submit my review there which is suspicious...
Excellent customer service
I’m very surprised by all the poor reviews! I have several Blunt umbrellas (Classic and Metro, admittedly not purchased directly from Blunt) but when I had an issue with one of my Metros I contacted Blunt and they immediately sent out spare parts free of charge. I then enquired about when the Classic sleeve would come back into stock as one of my Classics didn’t come with a sleeve (not purchased from them but another retailer) and they’ve offered to send me one for free. This is one of the best customer service experiences I’ve had in recent times. Thank you Blunt (and Nat)!
Disappointing durability after years of trust
I used my BLUNT umbrella for several years without any issues, which made what happened recently all the more shocking. During a rainy day with moderate wind — nothing extreme — 5 out of 6 ribs broke simultaneously. For a brand that positions itself as robust and reliable, this is completely unacceptable.
I reached out to customer support, hoping for at least an explanation of how this could happen, but they didn't even attempt to address it. No technical insight, no acknowledgment of the defect, nothing.
I've since purchased an umbrella from another manufacturer. Unfortunately, I can no longer recommend BLUNT to anyone.

I’m very disappointed with my purchase
I’m very disappointed with my purchase. After using the umbrella only twice, I found two holes in the material, despite taking good care of it and storing it properly. Customer service told me it was caused by “external friction,” which is simply not true. Their response felt dismissive and unhelpful.
The product is poor quality, and the company was unwilling to offer a fair resolution. I won’t be buying from them again and cannot recommend them based on this experience.
Flawed design
I bought a Blunt Metro umbrella a year ago and while it appears well made, out of the half dozen times I have used it, the end cap has fallen off and been lost twice!
This cap doesn’t stay screwed in and when it falls off the umbrella is rendered useless as the handle won’t stay attached without it. When the first was replaced I was told that they’d improved the design. Now a second cap has been lost.
It’s incredible that such an expensive brolly has such a basic design flaw and I can’t recommend it for that simple reason.
Flawless experience
Can't agree with the reviews on poor customer service - my blunt umbrella is durable - I've been through dozens of umbrellas in London weather but my blunt holds up, and customer service has been nothing short of fantastic when I have needed to contact them.

2. I have texted to customer support regarding repair services. They have answered and provided me a courier services label. Unfortunately, after my broken umbrella was sent, customer support disappeared. Their requests desk doesn't work, so I cannot even understand what is the status of repairs. And they don't answer my emails as well.
That is why I cannot recommend these umbrellas so far
My Blunt sport broke within a year
My Blunt sport broke within a year. At first I thought it was a great umbrella, but apparently it was not as sturdy as expected. A small part of the skeleton fractured while I opened it. As I payed a high price for this umbrella, I thought it should be repaired or replaced under warranty. I have been trying to get into contact with Blunt for more than a month but did not receive any response.
I will update this review once I receive a response.

Appalling customer service never received the item I ordered
Ordered a classic umbrella but they sent a Metro in error - no good to me and to add to this they didn’t pay the correct postage so needed to pay Post office £7 to get the parcel released. Have contacted customer service 4 times now to which no response which seems to be the general response that people are receiving. Produce glossy advertising but applauding customer service. A company to be avoided.

I’ve had the same experience as the other bad reviews below. Purchased an umbrella in November and have emailed Blunt four times trying to request a return/refund. Have heard nothing from them and the return period is now almost up. No address given for returns anywhere so can’t return the product. The above is in breach of the Consumer Contracts Regulations. An expensive mistake. Terrible customer service, don’t go near them!
You never get refund
I was drawn in by a nice commercial and decided to purchase the product. It was meant to be a gift, but unfortunately, the recipient didn’t like it, so I had to request a refund. I sent three emails, but none of them received a response. There are no other contact options available! It seems this company is focused solely on selling but has little regard for customer service.
One star, as the customer experience isn’t just about the product but the entire journey with the company. Thank you, but no thanks, Blunt.

Amazing product, terrible customer service
I purchased a Metro umbrella from Blunt and was impressed with its design, sturdiness, and lightweight feel. However, my experience with their customer service has been awful. I tried to return the unused product as it wasn’t suitable, but after many emails spanning over a month I’ve received no response at all.
It’s extremely frustrating to deal with a company that makes great products but seems to have no regard for customers after the sale. I can’t recommend Blunt unless they drastically improve their customer service which based on some reviews prior to mine I don't have much hope for.
