Nothing was too much trouble for John Upton, our leader on this heritage railway cycling weekend. From organising accommodation to taking us out for meals, and of course navigating us on the bike rides each day. John was adaptive to the needs of each rider and gave us choices re distance and meals for example. There was even an opportunity for wild swimming during one ride! Would definitely use this company again.

Midlands steam and diesel weekend was well organised around stunning scenery and quiet lanes.

Helen and Harvey are great leaders and having been with them before, I felt I knew how good the touring would be. They are inclusive, friendly and extremely knowledgeable and know the area, Always, Helen is at the back ensuring no one gets left behind!

Superb local knowledge well planned routes over 3 days of cycling

The 6 day cycle ride around the Royal Chilterns Way is mainly off road with some challenging paths and lovely countryside. It was very well organised and led by John Upton who was very helpful. I would recommend John and Bikexplore for a cycling tour.

I recently did the Borders tour AP261. It was a nice group, interesting rides through beautiful scenery, and we were blessed with fantastic weather. Nice and laid back, not too pressured, which suited me. Ania was a great leader and dealt with everybody's needs kindly and efficiently.

This was a wonderful cycling tour in Calabria. The routes were superb, wonderfully scenic and usually well graded with good surfaces. We enjoyed excellent accommodation and evening meals! We were lucky with the weather too, mainly warm and sunny and, not least, we received great support from our leader Greg. Thanks very much for a hugely enjoyable cycling holiday!

John turned out to be an excellent leader, A nice route and we allways felt safe on his London to Birmingham trip

The holiday was well organised, bikes were transported from the UK to the start and home from the finish, the route was good, the hotels and catering were excellent, and the price was reasonable.

John communicated information regularly but didn't overdo it. Explained the routes complete with 'challenges' and gave alternative routes. Couldn't fault him - he certainly went the extra mile to provide a really enjoyable holiday. Took us to far too many nice cafes - despite the pedalling we both weigh more than we did when we arrived in Lanzarote!

Very well organised with good information pre and during the tour. A nice group size, great value and a good way to discover Lanzarote away from the tourist hotspots.

Excellent planning and execution. GPS routes supplied in advance, superb Riad food both at base and via it's support vehicle on the cycle rides, and a single bill for all the sundry snacks/drinks on the last day saved multiple queues to pay.

Bikexplore, together with its local host in Morocco, work hard to provide a unique touring experience in winter sunshine. Not only do you get to cycle on virtually traffic free smooth roads and discover a landscape that gets into your soul but rest day tours offer the chance to discover local culture both in Tiznit and further afield in the Anti-Atlas mountains. Fixed centred accommodation at the friendly family run Riad Janoub is comfortable and the staff go out of their way to make you feel welcome. The breakfasts, evening meals (and post-ride snacks!) are delicious and plentiful.

Very good ride leader, ride support, accommodation, and food. The trip to this interesting and majestic part of southern Morocco was enjoyed by all.

Good base, weather, company. (mostly) great roads. I would have liked the cycling to be a bit more demanding, but we were well supported & overall it was a great holiday. Food good, service excellent.

I have done several tours with Bikexplore, mostly in Scotland but more recently Morocco. The tours have been exceptionally well organised and very interesting. My recent cycle tour of Morocco was so much more than a cycle holiday. The owner of the Riad we stayed in, acted as a guide and it was great cultural experience. Martin the tour organiser had planned each route thoughfully and carefully and had employed a local cyclist to come with us each day. I was a wonderful holiday.

Great cycling holiday in Morocco with a group of likeminded people, fantastic food and lots of sunshine. The Riad owner could not have been more helpful and obviously enjoyed sharing his local and cultural knowledge with us.

A great laid back vibe with some challenging climbs and great downhills. Very scenic in the mountains contrasting with the seafront areas.
