This comes down to the checkin process. Late checkin to begin with, then a 2 hour line, just to get a lockbox code. Completely unacceptable

Our cabin experience was amazing. It was clean and spacious. Very homey feel. I would definitely use Big Bear Vacations again.

Waited more than hour just to get keys, and found out then that the property wasn't even ready yet. This was at 5:30 pm when check-in was supposed to be 4 pm. We didn't finally get in to the property until 6:30 pm. The dinner voucher provided didn't compensate for one of our two nights of vacation being so frustrating.

The property itself was also lacking in things like paper towels, salt and pepper, enough towels and laundry detergent for more than two loads. There just want a thoughtful touch at all.

Their policies surrounding check in and check out (10 am!) were ridiculous as well. You have to drive your own garbage to a dumpster or you get charged $25 a bag. It was the longest rental agreement I've ever had to sign.

Loved the customer service and there prompt services. I just wish that they would post what the cabin really has or doesn’t have. The jet spa didn’t work and our cabin did not have a pool table like it said on the description.

Office employees were great and very friendly!!! The cabin was really nice other an a few issues with bed and closet

But had a great trip!!!!

Big Bear is great way to spend the holiday season. I had an amazing time with my family. The cabin had easy access to stores and activity places. Our cabin was ok. What put it apart from being great was that it was SO dirty. Cabin looked like it hasn’t been cleaned for years. We got terrible allergies the second we got there. The cabin itself was good, but what also upset me was that the cabin had several TVs... but only ONE was connected! It only had some Chanels and it was an older model so we couldn’t mirror our Netflix to the TV which totally sucked. We were looking forward to watching movies at the cabin but we were unable to. The cabin did have card games, jenga, mancala and the guess who game so at least we entertained ourselves with those family games. Above all the customer service from big bear vacations is great I give that 5 stars. They took great care of me every time I called and they knew exactly who I was and which cabin I had reserved. Although we weren’t happy with the fact that the cabin was quite dirty we had a blast and would totally go back.

Our stay in Big Bear was absolutely amazing! Big Bear Vacations REALLY exceeded our expectations & we will definitely be back!!

The condo was clean and well maintained.
Well located in terms of proximity to slopes.

The home was very nice and clean with a beautiful view of Big Bear Mountain. The only two complaints are they should definitely invest in a new stove top. Burners are lopsided. There should also be instructions on how to use the TVs. It took us 2 days to figure out how to use them after having to have a service call. I would rent this home again.

Location is perfect. the house is good , but the furniture is in poor condition ,and TV sets with 12" screen in very bad.
the kitchen is very good but very poor in server service.
overall is good for us but hope next time we have better choice.

Super cozy cabin (lots to choose from), friendly staff and great customer service, clean and cozy. Had an amazing time. The cabin had everything we needed and beyond!

Overall, our experience was decent. The only frustrating part was upon check-in, our cabin was still not ready (an hour later than our regular check-in time even though I had called several times asking for an early check-in). There were a few glitches with the cabin, but the maintenance came pretty quickly once I called and took care of the issues. I know there were many parties coming in that same day being told the same thing that their cabin was not ready and no ETA. Most of us drove from far distances and had children and animals so that part was frustrating to deal with after a long day to get there.

Everything was great, we really needed a bigger TV, but nice and cozy.

I booked very last minute and expected a so-so cabin since everywhere else was booked solid. But when we got there we were pleasantly surprised at how nice and great our cabin was. Check in was easy. Christina helped us out and she was so nice and didn’t make us feel bad that we were an hour late. We are going to use this company again. We had an above expectations experience.

Great cabin and whole process was simple. Highly recommend to book through big bear vacations.
