we came up to big bear to enjoy some cold weather with the grandkids the price of the cabin was very high, for the quality if the house we had, the couch was torn and it was wet so if you sat on the couch you would wet your clothes, we were also promised 6 beds when in fact the trundel was not a trudel it was actually 2 matresses stacked on top of each other, the shovel was broken so could not use to shovel snow in the back yard. and only had enough toilet paper for one day, did NOT like the late check in time of 4 pm and early check out of 10 am check out those times should be adjusted more accordingly, you infact loose the whole day of arrival, and then have to rush to get out by 10 am more reasonably times would be 1pm check in and 12 noon check out!! other than that the house cabin was spacious but a bit pricey due to the supplies and furniture

The cabin was so dirty, dog hair on the blankets, burn spots on the couch

I visited a property this year that I had visited several times before; last year, there were SEVERAL problems I needed to have addressed during my visit, and it was disappointing. This year, EVERYTHING was in working order and Big Bear Vacations communicated with me to make sure that any concerns I had from before were addressed. Much appreciated!

This house was truly amazing. We had plenty of room for 9 people. The kids loved the snow run right outside the back yard. The steps are key in getting the sleds up the hill. The Jacuzzi made it fun for the adults to watch the children while they were sledding.

The large table in the kitchen was great for food and to do jigsaw puzzles on.

The living room was super nice to watch the large screen TV or just sit and chat.

I will definitely be booking this place next year.

Big Bear Vacations was an amazing host. Exactly what we expected and a friendly host staff that made the check-in process easy. I plan to use Big Bear Vacations for all of my vacation needs in Big Bear and look forward to our next trip.

We recently had a reservation with Big Bear Vacations from 12/3/18-1/1/19. Unfortunately with our reservation there were a few things that we felt were unacceptable, and should be acknowledge.

Upon arriving to our cabin in which we were told we could check in to, we were greeted by a gentleman who informed us the cabin had not been cleaned from the previous guest. He let us know he needed to clean it which would take him about 2 hours. We felt uncomfortable leaving our bags and our two dogs with the gentleman cleaning the home, because he also mentioned he didn't normally clean the homes but was just a worker for Big Bear Vacations. We then waited around for 2 hours until he was done cleaning, instead of being able to enjoy our vacation and the cabin. By the time he got to the kitchen he realized there were dirty dishes left in the dishwasher which the gentlemen let us know he would turn on the dishwasher for us so they would get clean before he left.

After about 2 1/2 hours he left. We realized he forgot to turn on the dishwasher, and also did not leave any dishwasher soap so it was left up to our group to hand wash the dishes that were previously used in order for us to use them. We called to complain and was told they could get soap to us in a couple of hours when we needed the dishes to eat dinner then, also once the soap arrived they only brought us more bath towels and no soap....He also did not vacuum the carpet, clean the bottom restroom, food & alcohol was leftover from the previous guest in the refrigerator, and cigarette buds & beer cans were left on the outside table and trashcan.

The cabin should not be allowed to be check into if it was not clean, and we should not have the responsibility to clean after the previous guest.

I got electrocuted from an exposed wire for the radio/stereo. Both mornings we all woke up to deafening construction noises. The machine noises continued throughout the morning. Wanted to go on vacation to rest and relax but that was not at all the way that it went. Wanted tovplan several trips throughout this winter especially with the coming rain/snow this week but may have to consider looking elsewhere

Cabin missing amenities and 1000 checkout too early. Charging for trash removal also a bit much.

Excellent experience. The staff is sooooooo nice! The cabin was darling and the price was great. Will ALWAYS go through this company!

Amazing house, great views from floor to ceiling windows of the lake and mountains. Very clean . The kitchen was fully stocked including spices and even oils and vinegars. It was conviently locates bear Jeep trails and skiing.

It was not fun waking up to load up the car and there was 6”+ of snow to plow before 10am check out time. It would have been much better if at least the driveway was clear of snow. Took me 2 hrs to do so time I could have spent with my son playing in the snow. Also, the lock key, took a while to find. Try explaining exactly where it is. Despite all, my son and I had a great time.

Staff was great, everything worked out well, only issue was for the size of the house and guest, some toiletries was not enough. We had to purchase extra but that’s fine. They could just have forgotten to restock the bathrooms but that’s fine.

The bed blankets were dirty and on the floor. Clean linen was provided only for one bed when there are 4 or more. The floor and the couches were covered with debris from previous stay. The fridge did not work properly and did not keep food and drinks cold at a reasonable temp.

It is so cool the place only few thinghs with the dirty blankets. But the chalet is so good

Booking was easy, your check in process was horrible. You have all the people checking in for the weekend arrive st the same making for long lines and negative start to a vacation weekend!

Communication was great (only negative is maybe sending too many emails about reservation). The check-in process was easy and the employees very professional and polite. The office is fairly centrally located. They were very quick to address any problems I had with my cabin.

We were made to wait for more than an hour when we arrived for check-in since the cabin was not ready yet. I asked if we will be getting a late checkout then to compensate for the delay which was attributable to them and we were told “maybe” but not guaranteed. Bad customer service right there.

Had a wonderful experience. Everything was perfect. The team was very helpful in every aspect. Planning to go back soon.
